I have built a new, small site that is called "Fiction Threads." It's dedicated to (quoting from the site) "those who enjoy writing and participating in fun and imaginative creations. A story thread begins and people are suppsoed to join in with characters they made up according to the plot line. When entering a thread, Introduce yourself (the player), then, make up a character to fit the plot and give the rest of the participants a brief description of it (name, age, gender, species, physical description and a short background) and play it into the story. A new story will begin every once in a while and people are welcome to start their own thread, or of course, join an existent one. Before doing so, though, make sure to let everyone else know by writing an appropriate subject line."
I was just surfing around lately looking to play a bit RPG and found it was more difficult to get in than to play. So I decided to make this site. Besides, it's a great way to start a writing flow for any writer (even if it's not the style one usually writes in). Everybody's welcome. No rules except no profanity and no flooding... http://dimples2000fr.tripod.com :)

This series is the best work that I have ever read. I can't stop reading it!!! Keep up the good work!!! - Susan Haun Jun 22nd, 2004 |
I am normally a lurker who watches the top 25. Seeing Fate up for the last few weeks I finally decided to see for myself the staying power of this story. I was thrilled with the story. Once I picked it up I could not put it down and did not put it down until I had finished the last sentence. Great Job DE Salsbury, hope to see a sequel soon. - Karen Jun 22nd, 2004 |
I found the story to be outstanding. I read the story in one day becasue I didn't want to put it down. Great job!!!!! - Anonymous Jun 22nd, 2004 |
STOP!Don't read another story till you read this one.I haven't had so much fun reading a story in a long time. The characters are just priceless, and the idiots washing the baby had me on the floor in stitches. Damn good writing. Outrageous, delightful and sensual. Please, please write a sequel Larisa. These characters are just too good for one story only. You rock, Larisa! - Fredrica Jun 21st, 2004 |
This story is for the true romantic and it's absolutely incredible. I really hope there's a sequel to this amazing story. - Insane/Crazy Jun 20th, 2004 |
I didn't know I could fall for that story but that's exactly what happened and now I BEG YOU AJ Marks to finish it!! - aquariusG Jun 20th, 2004 |
This story is amazing! I not only learned how to climb Mt. Everest, [please god no] but I met two remarkable women with whom I fell in love with. I just couldn't stand it when it ended! Ms. Reilly, you simply must write more about Ricky and Allison, I insist--ha!--but PLEASE, ok? The authors "Darkness before the Dawn" series and its charactors were really good, but High Intensity is supurb!! Many thanks for a great read--MORE! - JLB Jun 18th, 2004 |
This was such a cool story! Not only did I love Dev and Holly, you got to know about Los Angeles! I want to see some of those places when I go to the next Xena Convention!!!!! - Annie Jun 18th, 2004 |
I have been reading this every day at work for a week. I love this story! What a great idea to combine Xena and Tomb Raider. I thought it would be light reading but it really touched my heart. Thanks Ri:) - Annie Jun 17th, 2004 |
This is a great story, bringing the tale of the lives of Kim, Jess, Sam and Riley to a fulfilling conclusion. I definately recommend this story to everyone. - Anonymous Jun 16th, 2004 |
I feel sad that this is the final story featuring these characters. It was an absolutely wonderful trip into their lives. I strongly recommend the three stories. They touch you in all the right places. Letterwolf - letterwolf Jun 13th, 2004 |
Outstanding! Thank you for sharing your story. - Anonymous Jun 11th, 2004 |
Brilliant! This is an absolute corker of a story. I'm giving it 6.5 stars. Devize has written an astounding tale which has a great whodunitcatchthebadguys plot interspersed with a strong romantic thread and replete with angst. The story will hook you and the revealing gems about our heroines will knock your socks off. Devize also kept me in a constant state of arousal by her teasers. This is a hot one, folks. It has everything in an explosive fairytale romance for our uber couple. - E Jun 11th, 2004 |
I absolutely loved this story. One of my favourite representations of Uber Xena... I think I almost f'ell in love' myself, with Devlyn Marlowe. I may well be a sucker for a fairytale romance, but who gives a heck. Gets my recommendation, that's for sure. - Larabard Jun 8th, 2004 |
This is one of the most beautifully written stories I have read in quite a while. Between the bad guys, a missing person, drugs, and other mysterious happenings, you will find a cleverly crafted story built around 2 characters you will fall in love with as you watch them fall in love with each other. This author uses her words to create visions that dance in your heart and paint for your soul. You will want to visit where these girls go, cheer for them, cry & sigh as their relationship grows and they come face to face with their fears, real or imagined. Bumpy roads, tears, and a sweet tenderness as well as some humor. The scenery is gorgeous and when words can create that in your mind, you gotta love this story and the creativity of this writers efforts. Book of the month? Maybe, but it is definitely my choice for Chocolate of the Month between two covers. - O Ger Jun 7th, 2004 |
[This Comment contains spoilers.] This story was AWESOME!!! A MUST READ for all! It puts together just the right amount of mystery, danger and romance all rolled up in one. Her characters draw you in straight away. It is about a woman trying to find someone. She searches high and low but realizes her search ends where it began with finding herself. I can't tell you enough how good this story is. Check it out for yourself. :o) - Caden Jun 7th, 2004 |
I love it!! I just want Coley to finish this so I can get on with my life, the anticipation is killing me! Great story!!! - Califa Jun 7th, 2004 |
I'm going to be in Madison this Saturday June 12 attending the Tomboy Girl Festival. Tomboy Girl is musician/singer Tret Fure's company. I believe this is the second year for the festival. Last year about 600 lesbians showed up and partied all day. It's billed as a day of music, comedy and vending. I will be in the vending area selling and signing books all day long. The doors open at 11:30, music begins at noon. It's being held at the Alliant Energy Center Exhibition Hall. You can find out more information at:
http://www.tomboygirl.com/
It should be a good time, so if you're in the area, please stop by and say hello!
Take care,
Di
Wow! That was amazing! Breathtaking. Very well written. - Nada Creative Jun 5th, 2004 |
Nicely done. Who knew there was fun to be had in a combustibly small darkroom? So when are you gonna write part two? - Okie Jun 4th, 2004 |

SECOND ANNUAL DC BardFest
The Second Annual DC BardFest - a gathering of people committed to supporting up and coming writers, and especially those friendly to the Gay, Lesbian, Transgendered and Bisexual community. Held over the first weekend in October every year, DC BardFest attracted over 225 participants in 2003 and expects almost 400 participants this year.
The DC BardFest (www.dcbardfest.com) is a two-day event, with speakers, panels, and vendors from a variety of disciplines, all focused on the challenge of supporting emerging GLBT authors. Authors, publishers, book dealers, and fans from across the nation and around the world converge on what is rapidly becoming an elite gathering. Guest speakers come from a variety of disciplines, including well-known writers of science fiction, fantasy, romance, screenplays, and teleplays.
In addition, the experience of the weekend goes back to the public in the form of an annual report that reaches out to the GLBT community nation-wide.
Not only is the DC BardFest itself a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we also take advantage of the opportunity each year to contribute to our favorite charities. Each year, we select two charities and any profit from the event proper plus the proceeds of fundraising auctions conducted by the participants are contributed. Last year, we raised approximately $2,500 plus another $1,000 in contributed toys and games for the Starship Foundation, which support New Zealand's only children's hospital. We also contributed $2,000 to the Whitman Walker Foundation.
Contributors, Supporters and Vendors at the DC BardFest have found that it is a rewarding weekend. We look forward to the coming event with anticipation - of good will, of exciting events, and of ever growing participation. We hope you will join us in celebrating these up and coming authors.
Please visit the website if you have any questions or join the update group to get the latest information on DC BardFest. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dcbardfest/join

Thank you so much for continuing with this series and seeing it through. I must admit that, although I will miss it, I'm glad to see that it ended well and with all the pieces tied up nicely. You did a fantastic job Shadylady...I appreciate you sharing this with all of us. It's been a pleasure Shady and I for one, can't wait to read your next project. - Stacy Lynn Jun 2nd, 2004 |
Liked this story, its a must read if you are a fan. - LuvTigger71 Jun 2nd, 2004 |
A brilliant story, can't wait for the next installments to be written, when you read this story make sure you are sitting comfortably in a nice comfy chair, because you will not want to move until you have finished it. - LuvTigger71 Jun 2nd, 2004 |
I had stopped reading until the story was finished. When I saw it was done I went back to the beginning and read from the first word to the last in one sitting. I could not put it down. Fantastic story. - Bri Jun 2nd, 2004 |
I read a lot of good stories, sometimes even great ones...but this one, it blew me away. I was so profoundly in and of these characters' world. It wasn't just the main characters that were well-developed, but the authour obviously took pains to construct interesting, funny, humna, dynamic and phenomenal heroes, almost anti-heros (but not in the classic sense). I clamor for more!!! - BKFaith Jun 1st, 2004 |
Great story - Anon Jun 1st, 2004 |
This story is one of my all time favourites. I don't know how many times I've read it and every time its still special. There isn't a wasted word or scene in this story. And it builds to a very satisfying and believable conclusion. - Anonymous May 31st, 2004 |
Great story. Builds slowly but the character development is first rate. And even the secondary characters are brought to life. I've loved all her stories and this one shows that Planetsolin still has it. - Anonymous May 31st, 2004 |
An fantastic read for all, but wanted to slap both of them at one stage or another. - LuvTigger71 May 31st, 2004 |
Brilliant start to the story, want more soon plz. - LuvTigger71 May 31st, 2004 |
The characters drew me in straight away. I am a huge Panther fan and the thought of a female player one day is an interesting idea. This tale is not only game but a game of fate as well. Keep up the great work. I hope to see an update soon. This story has the potential at greatness. See you in the top 10 soon. :o) - Caden May 30th, 2004 |
Gods, what a fantastic story. It really touched a part of me. You see, I can compare myself with Jaden. I am HIV pos aswell. So this story really, really touched me. I hope to read the rest soon. - Anonymous May 30th, 2004 |
If you liked Surfacing, be sure and read the sequel Persistence of Memory. This is a great background story regarding Diana's past. - gail May 29th, 2004 |
I really enjoyed this story. I love Janice and Mel and Enginerd does them proud. When Mel bring Janice home to meet the family Southern Hospitality is put to a real test. Enginerd does a great job creating Mel's family and friends all of whom are as eccentric as our two heroines. If you love Janice and Mel this is a must read. - Cheryl Ande May 27th, 2004 |
I really loved this:) It helped filled in the blanks and it was a very nice story about the soul mates and how they feel about life. - Tonie May 27th, 2004 |
A very good Janice and Mel story. This isn't a continuation of Enginerd's Janice and Mel war series but perhaps it can be viewed as a prequel. Her Janice and Mel characters are always well written but her secondary characters are always enjoyable too. There is Janice's friend, a Greek prostitute who takes her profession very seriously and Mel's erstwhile suitor from home who just can't understand why every woman is attracted to Janice and not him. I love Janice and Mel and there are too few stories featuring them so I hope Enginerd has more good stories to tell. - Cheryl Ande May 27th, 2004 |
Read this one awhile back. Awesome read. Hope there is more to come from these two great writers. - mt May 26th, 2004 |
Fantastic Read!!! - Anonymous May 26th, 2004 |
OMG! This story is probably the best original fiction I have ever read, bar none! Now, I have to admit that I am a die-hard XWP/uber fan. What I mean to say is that I like it when the main characters look like X & G...call me change resistant, it's ok. But, Ally and Evy are nothing like our usual heros...and this author goes to great lenghts to develop charcters that are so different from what is usually seen in "fan-fiction", that I found myself quite pleased that they were nothing like X & G. And for the first time...I enjoyed it! This story came to life for me. Thank you so much. I can't wait for more! - brandyjenn May 26th, 2004 |
This is one HOT story. Thud factor is definitely there. - purplehawke May 25th, 2004 |
This is a fabulous story. I can't wait for the next part. This has the making of a fantastic novel. - purplehawke May 25th, 2004 |
If you do not read any other uber this year do NOT miss Fate. If you do you will miss something really special. - Dream Weaver May 24th, 2004 |
Don't let the title fool ya...Good story... Kept me reading. Loved the banter between the two main characters. - Anonymous May 23rd, 2004 |
This story is one I never get tired of reading over and over again. It has everything, hurt, love, first-time, families, amazons, and goddesses. It is a must read. - purplehawke May 21st, 2004 |
I believe this is the best post FIN story I have come across. - Anonymous May 21st, 2004 |
Damn woman!! I checked every day for over a month for new stories and found none. And what do I find now .... another absofuckinglutely FANTASTIC story, it was worth the wait :) This is one of the best in the line. YOU RULE LARISA!!!!!! - Bacchus May 21st, 2004 |

OK you have GOT to write more on this! this is now become my second favorite you've done sister! Then again you've got to many its hard to just pick one anymore! Damn good story line on this one, well worth missing two hours of work this last week! Packed with suspence and humor only you can write! PLEASE TELL ME YOUR GOING TO CONTINUE THIS??? - WYD May 20th, 2004 |
Definitely one of Larisa's best. The bard has matured and her stories are getting better and better. - E May 19th, 2004 |
A very touching story so far. I can't wait to read more of it. - Bug May 18th, 2004 |
I don't think there is a story that Ms. Valdivia has written that hasn't been excellent. The way she tells her stories puts her characters right there in your mind to see and hear and feel as they do, and everytime i go back and visit them, they seem more alive then ever. Now she gives us Amazonia, and all i can think to say is. My dear Ali if i beg and plead and wish really really hard do you think you can actually make this island of Amazonia a real place, because if you can i know it would be overpopulated in a day. Your bardic "voice" is an amazing gift. Thank you for sharing. - Scotti May 17th, 2004 |
Great story. Really enjoyed it. - xluvr May 17th, 2004 |
Wow I can't believe I had avoided Vertigo's stories so long (Deep felt apologies Vertigo), for some reason I had it in my head they would be a liiiittle too kinky for me (All that based on a synopsis for Private Dancer), but having read this I was proved so very wrong. Oh don't you worry the sex is there (HOBOY is it!)but it is passionate and filled with feeling not at all shallow or hedonistic. The build up is so sweet, sort of shy and reluctant and the supporting characters you want to keep for yourself. It's good work. - Stephanie May 17th, 2004 |
Emma Sanders survived in a dark world of fear and shadows created by her mother. Circumstances thrown into her life's path kept her isolated, alone and far removed from the trappings of modern society. She did what she had to in order to endure life in spite of her perceived inadequacies and worthlessness. When a shadowy figure emerged from the muddy depths of water near her boat dock, light began to creep into Emma's lonely existence. Cay O'Neill's path twisted and turned bringing her to Jones' Lake and one Emma Sanders. Slowly, Emma allows Cay into her life rejoicing in her new found emotion of friendship. A common enemy threatens the fledgling relationship, but together they form a strong bond in a fight to stay alive. Emma Sanders' life is about to take a turn as the light of a once inconceivable world shines on her.
More please. The story is excellent. - White Wolf May 17th, 2004 |
Fate is one of the most compelling books I have read on the verse. If you are looking for PWP, don't come here, but if you are looking for an exciting story that is well written with developed plot line and three dimensional characters this is where you need to be. Though the story is lengthy it is never ever dry or dull. Hats off to D. E. Salsbury for a job well done. Thank you for sharing your talent. - White Wolf May 17th, 2004 |
Thank you for sharing your characters with us. It is like sitting on the sidelines and seeing someones life developing before our eyes. I can't wait for the next episode. - Shadylady May 16th, 2004 |
Big long book that leaves the reader wondering why the relationship between the main characters is not more fully developed. It is a good over all tale with a lot of action but missing in the intimacy department by a long shot. - Anonymous May 15th, 2004 |
I love the sweet relationship early on that is shown in this story. I also know exactly what poor Gabrielle is going through and wish I had someone like Xena to take care of me. - Florie May 14th, 2004 |
Xena and Gabrielle are still alive in the present time in this story that explains what happened to them after FIN. Interesting and funny. - Alexi May 13th, 2004 |
I just finished reading "Fate"- it took all day because once I started, I couldn't stop! It was GREAT, with likeable characters, and well written. I hope you are planning on a sequel, I find that I would like to know more about the pasts of the leads. I just wanted you to know that your story was appreciated. Read it! Live it! Love it! - Uber Addict May 13th, 2004 |
You know, I've always thought Larisa wrote the best stuff and here I've been waiting it seems like forever for the new one. And what's this? A fantastic story that's quickly becoming a favorite AND it's about my second favorite show of all time. Just when I thought Larisa couldn't be any cooler. - Anonymous May 13th, 2004 |
What a beautiful story! - pat May 12th, 2004 |
Fate is one of the best stories I have read. It had a little bit of everything in it. If you have not read this story yet then I say do it now. You will not be sorry. Thank you so much for such a great story. I can't wait for you to start book 2 so I will know what happens to the girls next. - Debbie Dee May 11th, 2004 |
You know i have read all of Larisa's stories many times. They are fun and entertaining and always good for a real laugh. Now this story comes along, and here i sit thinking WOW i really wish that she would expand this story into a cintinuing series. I eagerly look forward to more. Thanks Larisa its always a pleasure to read anything you write, but this one was truely special. Thanks so much for sharing. - Scotti May 11th, 2004 |
Fantastic! This is one of my favorite stories by Larisa and that's a hard statement to make, considering most of her stories are favorites of mine. Hope there's more stories concerning my favorite TV show. This bard could write for the show. Another great story, Larisa, thank you. - Sherry May 11th, 2004 |
brilliantly angsty, it's the resolution most of us never get. - E May 10th, 2004 |
Great story. Looking forward to more of it. I like that the characters are real people with imperfections, fears, aspirations, and needs...in other words, human. I also appreciate the more mature age of the main characters. As mentioned by other readers, the humor and writing style are excellent. Now if I can just be patient until I find out what happens next.... - Debbie May 10th, 2004 |
Another wonderful addition to the Ali Vali collection. Romantic and heroic and all the things fairytales are supposed to be. The fact that this one takes place during modern times just adds to the wonder and excitement. A must, MUST read for all. - Roxy May 9th, 2004 |
Nice story showing Xena both as a loving daughter and a healer yet she was still very much Xena. - Tai May 8th, 2004 |
this is one of the best yet,was it a tango? was it a rumba? Its a dance of whats to come! very well done Shadylady! cant wait to see how this one turns out! - BRAT May 7th, 2004 |
I've been up most the night trying to finish this one. Wonderful novel that I rate very highly. I'm going to miss Andi and Haley, they are believable and likable characters. - Janet - Aldershot England May 7th, 2004 |
Absolutely wonderful story. I hope there is going to be a sequel! - Jennifer May 7th, 2004 |
this story is amazing . hope theres a sequel!!! - Krysta May 6th, 2004 |
What a wonderfull story. I really liked Dagny. This is truely one of the best stories I have read... Thanks - Anonymous May 6th, 2004 |
Good storyline with a great sense of humor. the author would push a funny line one more bit sometimes, and instead of making it too much, it would add just enough to make that smile a full-out grin or an outright laugh. very 'mature' humor, for want of a better word - not silly, though there's certainly nothing wrong with that either. definitely worth a read. - linda l. May 6th, 2004 |
Lady J, you have a wonderful style of writing. I can't believe I laughed out loud but I did. I love this story, more please. - Jenny May 6th, 2004 |
WOW!!! Once I got started, I couldn't stop! I was up all night reading this wonderful, enthralling story. Another masterpiece from an outstanding author. Beautifully written and engaging, full of twists and turns, a definate classic. Awesome!! - Peaches May 6th, 2004 |
T. Thanks again for a great humanistic story with believeable characters. There is nothing more appreciated than a wonderful story. I look forward to much, much more. Later gator, SL - Shadylady May 5th, 2004 |
Once again, Ms. Valdivia has given us one of her enthralling tales. Like every other piece she has given us out here, she fills our time living the amazing the lives of her intriguing characters taking us away from our mundane lives. As with every other story of hers I have read, I was unable to stop until I have read every word, and ended up all night. It's like giving steak to a starving person. I find her stories original and refreshingly well written, her characters seem to come to life for the reader and you find yourself deeply involved with each of them. I hope Ali will see her way clear to give us more of this wondrous world of Amazonia, and its fascinating citizens. - Alex P May 5th, 2004 |
Your story was amazing; if this was out I would have bought it. It was excellent...perfect. Hope theres a sequel... - Krysta May 4th, 2004 |
Oh. My. God. This story is on FIRE!! - Anonymous May 4th, 2004 |
A well written little first-time tale that made me smile. - Lar May 4th, 2004 |
Great story. I really enjoy the way she writes. - Anonymous May 4th, 2004 |
Another great tale from a wonderful writer! Although it was somewhat predictable (at least to me), it's not the destination, but the journey getting you there! And Ambrosia takes you on one that you wish didn't end! I highly recommend this story! - gail May 4th, 2004 |
Ow. Just...ow. - Anonymous May 3rd, 2004 |
I absolutely loved this story! A great piece! Very entertaining. - Alex Tryst May 3rd, 2004 |
I have been waiting a long time for Katia to bring the girls out again. This vignette was hot. To see these two share in a new experience was very exciting. This is a must read. - Strongsouljah May 1st, 2004 |
Great post fin story that does not attempt to justify Xena's death but rather to bring Gabrielle to acceptance. Love the way that Aphrodite is brought into the story to give comfort and support. Great job A. Hawk. - Shadylady May 1st, 2004 |
Brilliant story. Brilliant writer. I read all of Ambrosia's stories and liked them all. I laughed and I cried. Truly a piece of art. I hope to read some more in the near future! - Bacchus May 1st, 2004 |
This story is so great I can't wait to read more. Your doing a great job on it Lady J - Debbie Dee Apr 30th, 2004 |

I'm on the 13th 'book' in this series...As far as I can see, this is the last one that was written. I'm getting a little panicky that there aren't more stories in this series!! THis has been an incredible 'ride', and hope ALL of you will sit down and start reading them. These aren't short stories by any means, but they will be worth every moment you put into them. You'll find yourself wanting more, just like me! - usaussie Apr 29th, 2004 |
OMG! This is a hot one! And damn funny along with it! I recommended this to all my friends and they all said the same thing...now Snap, PLEASE! PLEASE! We're begging you, finish this story! We love your writing, your characters, your humor. Don't leave us hanging any longer! Ladies, this is a MUST read. Fantastic ;-) - Marti Apr 28th, 2004 |
Wow! Loved this romantic story. I think that the compassion that Robin had for Rosie was beautiful. I wish I had someone swoop in and rescue me like that. - Toddie Apr 27th, 2004 |
"Accidental Love" is my favourite uber story of all. I can't really say exactly what it is that makes it so good - it just works from start to finish. To not bore your audience at any point during almost 200 pages worth of story is an accomplishment in itself, but to create something so riveting, so heartwarming that you can't help but be moved to both tears and laughter, is truly amazing. If I had a hat, it would be off for you. You rule! Oh, and don't forget to check out some of Miller's other works, especially "Crystal's Heart". - Wolvie-DK Apr 26th, 2004 |
All I can say is BRILLIANT!!!, I couldn't stop till I finished it. Ambrosia,great story! - Anonymous Apr 23rd, 2004 |
HEHE, glad to see you back in the writing mode. Come on and continue to turn them out. This is a great story and I look forward to more adventures in the future about the past. - Shadylady Apr 22nd, 2004 |
A beautiful story. The characters are well developed and believable. It sucks you in from the get go. The twist of fate near the end clinches it for me. I hope to see more from this writer. Very well done. - Califa Apr 22nd, 2004 |
Oh WOW! Great story! I really hope you'll do another sequel because Lili and Marleen are sooooo funny and cool! - Anonymous Apr 21st, 2004 |
This is the first one I've read from Missy and I have been hooked since. Her stories are addictive and will give you withdrawals when waiting for the next part! *Thats when you start reading her other stories over and over again(any merpup would agree with me on this ;) ) She is a great bard and writes so well you get lost in her stories. Keep it up! - Kristi Apr 20th, 2004 |
Nice story but could have been better if Kim had taken more time to give it more body. It has potential to become a much better story if the characters are given more depth, there is more intrigue and the action is more intense. But I suppose she wanted to just keep it short. Pity though. Still, It's just right to read in bed just before you go to sleep. It's fun, pleasant, not too exciting or "angstfull" to give you bad dreams and short enough to finish before lights out. Restfull. - letterwolf Apr 20th, 2004 |
Lili and Marleen are soooo sexy! Hope you do a sequel. - jopari Apr 19th, 2004 |
This is a great story. Great job. When is the next part to be posted? - Anonymous Apr 16th, 2004 |
This piece is masterfully done. Each character has depth but does not inapropriately cross over the boundries created by the first person narrative. I was moved by this piece and only sorry that it was over when it was done. The mystery unfolds with the reader sometimes a half a step ahead of the narrator, and somehow that's just enough to prepare us to survive the whirlwind. The whole thing is honest and tragic and sweet all at once. I highly reccomend it. - Roxy Apr 15th, 2004 |
this is just simply a MUST read! you will feel sorrow, maybe even anger, but in the end you will smile. through tears but you will smile. - empress Apr 14th, 2004 |

More than wonderfull!!! X Silver from Holland - Silver Apr 12th, 2004 |
AWESOME ONCE AGAIN!!!! - T. Stratton Apr 10th, 2004 |
Another great story from Vertigo! the growing attraction between the protagonist is so well developed that you can really feel it when you're reading! (and I mean it: do not read it at work!) No angst, no violence, Vertigo wrote just a perfect "lust at first sight story" without being obvious or predictable. Great supporting character too, the in laws are totally amazing! I really would love to read a sequel. Great job! - Laura M. , Italy Apr 10th, 2004 |
Clearly a lot of time and effort went into this marvelous story. I enjoyed taking the trip back to another era. The characters were wonderfully written and events portrayed artistically. I enjoyed the humor and drama. Great story. - jlnickymaster Apr 8th, 2004 |
I loved this story and read this along with the previous two all in one night (which shows how good they all are). It is a must read and I am hoping for more stories including Veba and Rickie very soon. Veba is just sooo sweet. - Anonymous Apr 8th, 2004 |

This was a very good story and well written. Marion D. Tuttle had done a superb job and I totally agree that this was how the last episode should have ended. Good job!!! - S. Ann D. Apr 2nd, 2004 |
I have lost count of how many times I have reread this marvelous story, but it is definitely worth every moment I spent. In my humble opinion "The Price of Fame" is one of the finest works here. The story will grab you right from the very first chapter and won't let you go until the final sentence. I would highly recommend that you read it, and then, like me, you will be anxiously waiting for the sequel. - Alex P. Apr 2nd, 2004 |
Totally LOVE this story.... wonderfully written .. very insightful. Tried to contact the writer but could not find an email address.. so eToh, if you are reading this, THANK YOU for a great story. - Sheri Apr 1st, 2004 |
Read part one and nearly spewed 15 year old single malted Scotch across the room. The audition scene is too hilarious for words! - sospicee Mar 31st, 2004 |
Justine and Carly are two extremely true to life characters. KG managed to write about life the way life is - ups, down, fears and those little bursts of courage, and still found a happy ending for these two great women. Wonderfully written story. - Nyc Mar 31st, 2004 |
I loved this story, I thought it was really well done I like how you brought all the elements together, Ri but are you ending the series with this one? I will miss Lara and Sarah if this is it. I enjoyed the movies but your Lara has captured my heart. - Tina Mar 31st, 2004 |
