New additions to The Athenaeum -
To all of you who accuse me of practicing censorship, I simply reply that I have not removed a single story or site from the Internet. I have infringed upon no person's freedom to post whatever he or she wishes to on their own site. I am a firm believer in freedom of speech and freedom of the press. However, freedom of speech/press does not give one the right to demand that others help you promote your speech. There is plenty of room for all of us on the Internet. If you don't like my site, there are plenty of other exceptional X:WP fan fiction sites out there, as well as (at least) two other well done index sites.

Now for the new fan fiction.....
I'm afraid that these last few days have made me rather weary. The flames regarding this issue were rather hard to take, and indeed were completely unexpected. I'm going to take a few days away from the net, watch some X:WP episodes, and try to remember exactly why I spend so much time working on this web site.
When will I return? Soon I hope. Perhaps as soon as tomorrow, but to be honest it might be two or three days.
