Monday, April 12, 1999 10:16:50 PMI apologize for the lack of updates recently. A number of things have taken my attention away from the web site recently (not the least of which is my real job). In the next few weeks I will again be looking for a few people who are interested in helping out with various aspects of the site (please don't send any offers to volunteer just now though). I am also in the process of making site maintenance something less then the...daunting task that it tends to be now. Both of those things will greatly improve the ease and consistency of the updates. I again apoligize for the delays between updates, and I ask for a bit of patience from those who are eager to see them resumed. I would also like to request that anyone who has sent me a fan fiction story to post in the last few weeks and has not seen it posted yet, OR has sent a question regarding the site, and has not received an answer to re-send that story/question. I have suffered something of a partial disk crash, and the last 2+ months of e-mail messages vanished as a result. |
We'd also like to recommend a short vignette that's just been added. Nicole Hazel's Fields Of Truth.
Another highly recommended tale has also been added: kd bard's The Commitment.
A number of other highly recommended tales have also been added. Those titles include: Maggie's Heart's Promise, Alicia Chérie Peterson's Shooting Star, Baermer's The Personal Scrolls of Gabrielle, Bard of Poteidaia, and The City Of Peace a collaborative effort of five bards.
Five new favorites have also been reviewed! Those titles are: Still Waters by Anne Taylor, The Kind by L. Graham, and Susan Smith's The Amazons of the Dahomey, The Charioteer: In the City of Har, and the unfinished Of Drag Kings and a Warrior Princess. What are you still doing here? Go read 'em, but make sure you send those bards your complements as well!
In the last week a number of people have started lending their talents to this web site. Within a few days new reviews should again start appearing in the index! It's been a long last few months, and hopefully my real life commitements will now allow me to resume daily updates to The Athenaeum.
My thanks go to a certain group of Amazons for keeping this bard smilin' over the last few months. You know who you are...
