So I'm glad it's finally Halloween because it means a brand spanking new story by zee and windstar on the academy's Holloween special page. I was waiting just for that posting. So of course it was the first story I read. Awesome story I loved how so non conventional Alexie ended up being and Katyia following her. I hope you guys keep going with this story I would like to know if Alexie is ever found and the two of them reunited.

It's a great story. Was the first I read too. Loved the characters and the pace. Waiting for the continuation, especially what happened in the intervening years in America. Thanks for some wonderful hours.

We always try and write short stories although it never works out that. Nobody seems to mind though.
We're working on something in the blood and honor universe, but we do have good intentions to write a sequel to Secret Histories.

The story is slow going, as we are in the beta/editing phase of a new story out of the Blood and Honor Universe. As a bunch of other ideas have gone bursting through our heads. But I remain hopeful we will see a something for Halloween with either Zoya or Chance or Katiya and Alexei. Now that I've said something the muse will take off for Cancun or something.

I've gotten used to waiting a year between Halloween's for a new story from you two lol and it's worth every minute of wait. I just reread Chance and would love to see something more in that universe either with Zoya or Chance and Taylor. (too bad Chance's blood doesn't give them some magic pregnancy powers. XD would love to see a kid out of those two! But no matter what comes out next I know it will be a hit *bows to the masters*

I don't want to jinx us so I'm not going to say anything about Halloween and what story might be coming out for that. I don't think Chance has any magical werewolf powers to get Kephri/Tyler pregnant although I think they would be good parents until their kid was old enough to date then Chance would be sitting on the front porch cleaning her gun every time a date showed up. We do have a story finished in the Blood and Honor Universe just need to sit down with the red ink and edit it.
Just need more hours in the day.

First of all, I love both your individual and collaborative works with Windstar'. Secondly, I would have to say Secret History of Vampires is one of my all time favorite vampires story. I lost count of how many times I have read and reread that story/novel. In my opinion, it's a zillion times better than some of the published ones, i.e. Twilight. Will there be a sequel to Secret His. anytime soon??

Windstar and I have been cranking out several stories. Not ready for the sequel to Secret Histories but you'll be seeing more of Zoya and then Bones.

We've stalled on a couple of stories in the Blood and Honor Universe, but we should have a new one out in a month or so introducing some new characters in the Desert.

Just read Zoya last night. Had planned to go to sleep but when I saw the Academy had the Halloween Invite up, I couldn't resist looking. I prayed as I scrolled through the list, hoping to see a Zee and Windstar (or by either of you) story. My prays were answered

Zoya's amazing. I wasn't sure (when I read Chance) Zoya would every find a suitable mate, but I was very happy with how everything turned out.


One question though. Halfway in Zoya and Isabel have sex where Zoya bites Isabel hard enough to draw blood. She licks it away and says "You're mine now." I thought that meant Zoya had given her a mating bite and Isabel, in turn, bit her back (I so like where ). About 2/3rds in, Bone's says that Zoya hadn't giving Isabel a mating bite yet. I am confused. Has Zoya bitten Isabel or not?

My gf asked me the same thing. And I'm not really going to answer that because it will be explained in the next story with Zoya. Was it a mating bite? Maybe Zoya was just playing it cool, because she knew how much co-habitation freaked Isabel out? Or maybe there's biting and then there's biting. I know annoyingly vague. I promise in the next one we'll explain the dynamics of what makes a mating bite.

Sorry don't mean to be killing anyone. From our perspective SH turned out way more popular than we ever thought it would be and we have a lot of pressure to make sure it doesn't suck. So the sequel will take some time and while we work on it you see some other characters out of that universe shine a little as it helps us flesh out that world.

So I've been putting off reading King and Country for awhile now. I knew if I started, I wouldn't stop until I was finished and I haven't had that kind of time to spare for awhile. However this Sunday, I gave myself a birthday present and allowed myself to read it. I must say, I always know what to get me and what an incredible gift it was. Of course, I'm saying this to thank you and Windstar for an incredible story.

I simply adore King and Country. I said to a friend, after I had been reading for an hour, that I would never be able to decide what I liked better, King and Country or Blood and Honor. She asked me why I had to decide in the first place and I realized I didn't have to decide, I could just love them both equally.

I look forward to any sequel you wish to do in this world, whether it be Torrin and Luna, Ryuu and Vladis (about broke my heart when I read their story), or Hunter and Ketan. Of course if yall write all six together in one story, I'd be happy too. Then again, Torrin, Vladis, and Hunter in the same room...could lead to trouble...big trouble.

Anyway, just rambling. I look forward to whatever story you want to treat us to next. Thanks for sharing.
