LOL. My GF did warn me if Windstar and I didn't finish Secret Histories soon there would repercussions.

Have we started a sequel, yes. Did it work, no. So we are back to the drawing board. There are a few more characters in this Universe that need their story told before Alexei can make a return. So you will see their stories before we get to her. Plus it doesn't help that Windstar and I have written a few other stories having nothing to do with this universe. Trust me, we are always writing - something. Most of the time its even good.

Like everyone else, I too have been waiting for the sequel. But...*shrug* what can we do....we are at their mercy. As someone suggested in the recommendations, lol, demons by mail is a good idea. BUT, let's face it, like Maggie we've sold our souls to the muse and we wait. ;) I for one am totally hooked on their talented, devious minds that create such alt universes. So, I'm off for another fix hoping I don't have to deal with the withdrawls for new pieces for too long.

Zee and Windstar, I can see how other things are happening before you get back to Alexei - like Molly having a meeting with Zoya for her Master (who name will not be mentioned). I guess we have to understand why the Master wanted the war in the US and how this is going to effect the werewolves. But, PLEASE, PLEASE throw us a bone with some hints in the other stories you plan to write. Loving all of your stories.

@Traveller-

Traveller, I had wondered if anyone had caught the reference to Katiya and Alexei in Zoya. I had assumed that Karl was the mysterious "Master" that Molly referred to (though, it is quite plausible that it could be some other Vampire that we were not introduced to in Secret History of Vampires).

I am very curious as to how Windstar and Zee plan to continue the series and am ever hopeful that they will continue. There are many questions left unanswered in Secret History of Vampires.

For me, I am left wondering:
If Katiya was able to remove Lyov from the house.
Will Vidar remain dead?
How the ladies will tackle two master vampires living in the same household. In Secret History, Alexei worried about turning Katiya as it would most likely cause tension in the household.
What happened to Fionna and how is it that her daughter is most likely a vampire!?? Not something I would imagine that she would allow lightly.
Who are Katiya's pets? And if she does not have any, how does she survive?

I think the ladies have created a marvelous series, and the sequel to Secret History no doubt will be amazing, but I can see how it would be challenging to deal with the reunion of our two leading ladies. At the end of Secret History, we see a very different Katiya than the woman we met in the first few pages.I guess I am left wondering how Alexei will deal with this "new" Katiya that is a master/elder in her own right.

All very good questions, Nando.

I had a question the other day if Chance was Chance's real name. Seems strange when compared to Zoya.

One thing I can say for sure is that the writers definitely come up with some unusual names for their characters. I happen to love how the names are not the "norm," but I have to agree that Chance is very different than the name Zoya. Then again they did have different mothers so perhaps this could account for the discrepancy in the names????

Glad to see that I am not the only nut to think about these things. :)

Oh, I had forgotten about the different mothers part. I am ashamed :blushing:

A plausible answer to one of you questions, I think Alsun is one of Kaitya's pets and she have kept Tereza around as a pet though I don't know if the hunter would have agreed to that.

Another question: Is Bones related to Vidar? To quote, there are six hounds from the six pieces of the horn. Three of ice, three of fire. Vidar is the first, one of ice. Bones is a fire hellhound.

I almost feel like I should stay quiet I just watch the back and forth.

I love that people enjoy this story and have questions about the Universe we created because it helps us plug those holes in later stories.

Bones is Vidar's sister, but not in a biological sense. Hellhounds or the Hound of Hel are from Norse Mythology and then sort of traveled with the Vikings changing over time and cultures. In our mythos they are demonic/magical creations tied to an object and given free-will and consciousness when Alexei destroyed the Huntsman's Horn.

Alsun is the daughter of Warren and Fionna, how she became a vampire will feature in a story.

Tereza burned by the church became a mentor to Katiya and lived out her life to a ripe old age, I'm sure, but she never became a pet or a vampire.

Zee, I think we definitely appreciate any tips or hints about the universe that Alexei and Katiya live in. :)

I have yet to read SHoV, but thoroughly enjoyed reading Chance and Zoya, grats on a fantastic read and thanks for making it available for us all. I'm a fan of warewolf/vampire/supernatural themed books and find it difficult to find reading material to keep up with my voracious appetite. I have now added you guys to my favourite authors list.

P.S. Do you have additional works posted anywhere else?

So now that I have read SHoV what can I say but.........wow! For me it was one of those stories where I just couldn't stop reading and couldn't wait to see what happened next, a serious page turner. Like many of your other fans I am seriously hoping we will see more on these characters soon *crosses fingers*

I had to ad to this, because I just finished the series and...my mind is in a whirl! I have so many unanswered questions and I just want Vidar, Alexei and Katiya back together so they can-excuse my french-fuck them bitches up! I just need some kind of assurance that the sequel is on it's way, so I don't sit waiting for days endlessly waiting.

I did try to submit GrayLine 3 but it was returned back as undeliverable 4 times. Since the beta reader hadn't really finished I took that as a sign to let her finish it. Its really my bad since I was submitting it Oct 30th at 10pm that's what I get for waiting for the last minute, but I've been swamped with real life since August.
Sorry for the disappointment, Windstar and I feel the same way about not having a story up this year.

I can totally understand real life getting in the way so no worries, Zee. It was just funny because I found myself waking up yesterday like a kid on Christmas all excited rushing to the academy to read the invitational and was bummed to not see your and Windstar's name. I actually checked the list twice to make sure I hadn't misread the list and just missed your name. :) Oh well, hopefully real life is going well for you both.

All my best,

Nando

Me too, I'm ready for a little down time.

Anyways for those impatient people who can't wait for Grayline3 we do have a very quiet little yahoogroup called the long dark Hallway, where you can find Grayline3 posted even though the beta reader hasn't finished going through it.
