VANCOUVER -- David Booth has been placed on unconditional waivers by the Canucks for the purpose of buying him out. If Booth clears waivers, Vancouver can use a compliance buyout on the 29-year-old forward. Booth had one year left on his contract at a salary of US$4.75 million and a salary-cap hit of $4.25 million.
