Looking for a Story

Looking for a Story

Postby justiceischeap » Sat Dec 27, 2008 11:19 pm

I'm looking for Daredevil Hearts by WolfDragon. I found a used book on Amazon for $130 or so dollars American but I was wondering if anyone could help me out some other way.

Thanks!

That is a most excellent story and a great series.

Did you read Lost Paradise first ? I put the first link below. There are 8 parts. Unfortunately the link on part 8 to daredevil hearts is no good.

There are 4 books in the Daredevil series by Francine Quesnel aka WolfDragon. I'm not sure why they are no longer online as I think only one went to print and is impossible to get.

Lost Paradise
Daredevil Hearts
Discoveries
Adventures in the Dust Trades

I begged a copy a few years ago and may still have it stored on my old computer. I'll have to check & get back to you. If you haven't started looking at the Bard's Corner; that would be your best bet.

There might still be a way to order an audio mp3 of it for $20. http://www.xenamultimedia.com/authors/wolfdragon.htm.

Cheers.

I love this story too been looking for years for a copy.

I found the first book on this site http://www.abebooks.com. I also found them on Waterstones Web site http://www.waterstones.com/waterstonesweb/home.do for £12 each, but I not sure if they will get them as it seems to be such rare book. I've ordered them and will let u know if they come :)

Lost Paradise has also been published if memory serves.

Have you tried any of the print-on-demand sites like http://www.word-power.co.uk/?

Thanks all! I'll take your suggestions under consideration.

I did manage to find the first one, Lost in Paradise, which is what made me want to read the rest of the series.

On edit:
Thanks for all the helpful PMs. :)

Were you able to find copies of the other stories in the series? I just read Lost Paradise and I'd love to read the others: Daredevil Hearts, Discoveries and Adventures in the Dust Trade. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Rio

I was having one of those, "Gosh remember that one story years ago..." type of moments. That of course means I have the sudden urge to find said story and read it again. It's been several years since I read the series, so I have no idea why it suddenly popped into my brain. But like a song stuck playing on a loop, it probably wont go away until I read it again. I looked all over and finally found the correct series (after a few bangs of my head against the keyboard), but only one part was available <insert pouting and unwrapping of chocolate>. Then I found it on Amazon <insert joyous chorus music>! Alas it's not really available there anymore for a reasonable price <insert more chocolate>. So I came across this thread and was wondering if anyone else has managed to find this series for download or sale elsewhere seeing as though quite a bit of time has gone by since the last post? I'd buy the two for sale on Amazon, but I fear I'd have to sell my dog and a few internal organs.

Edit: Thanks so much for the help via PM!

Hello everyone. Like Blu and dakota86, I have not had luck finding the sequels to "Lost Paradise". I am fairly new to fanfiction and am lucky to find this forum. I have been reading the recommendations that I find here and am discovering that I am a goner - fell down the rabbit hole willy-nilly and am now a ff addict. If you can help me track down the sequels, I would appreciate it very much. Thank you kindly.

Edit: Thank you for the PM's and help.

I've never registered for any kind of a forum before so this will be my first posting ever. I've been looking for the sequels to Lost Paradise for months now and found this thread, I've exhausted all my other ideas. If anyone can help I would sure appreciate it.
Thanks

Hello, just saw this Fiction Forum, and I wanted to let you know that I HAVE all the stories in this series. There were two printed books done, but the rest were only online. I have the books, and also all the stories saved on my computer.

Yeah ifuritka !!! :applause:

Didn't know the beta version of the archives were running, the links in the 'normal' version wouldn't work.
Thank you for letting us know :big hug:

This is so great...even LB Anderson's 'strippin' is working now :big grin:

Off I go to find other lost stories...
