Meet and Greet

Well, that's generally true. However, a lot of the kids in my section were only there for two reasons, a) their parents' forced them to, or, b) They wanted in symphonic band and you had to be in marching band to get it. And yes, I remember being really busy during the season -- the two weeks of all day band camp before classes in August (which is aweful in Missouri, the combination of humidity and heat really kills ya), and an hour and a half of practice on Tuesdays and three hours of practice Thrusdays during the fall. And I know the drum line and the pit practiced a lot more than that too. I didn't really mind all the work, but that's because I had an awesome band director. As soon as you joined up as freshman, you were automaticly adopted by my band director as her kid. She was a phenominal teacher and she really provided the inspiration of me to do well. I think that's why band is the only part of high school I miss really.

I bet if I had joined, which I was close to, I would have enjoyed it but I chose to be more academic. *shrug*
I don't really regret it, I'm still happy with my experience so far. I only have months left, so I'm making the most of high school. However, I'm getting sick of it. lol Damn senioritis.

LOL, I know the feeling. I ended up having to ask my mom to hide all of my favorite books so I wouldn't come home and read them instead of doing home work. Where she managed to find all of the space to hide them in, I still have no idea. Hang in there, you can do it! :applause:

I didn't get senioritis too bad. I mean I had a really lax senior year anyway and the classes I did have, I enjoyed them. But I only took the one AP class. I wasn't an AP honors kid taking all AP classes ;)

ahahaha...yeah well, I wonder what I'm smoking when I'm up to my neck in homework. That's when I wish I only had one AP class or none at all.
Those who say senior year is the greatest, I hate you. It's so stressful so far lol

Yuri, haven't you realized that's why I'm here? To destroy all your hopes and dreams until you are truly just a mindless statistical high school student.

Friends don't let friends have balloons filled with hope and dreams. We have to keep you level on the ground.

Awwhhh, its okay Yuri. You'll be a good friend one day. Probably when you're a senior in college as well. You'll ruin some high schooler's hopes and dreams and understand what I'm feeling now.

Hey Trini,
I'm glad you came over and said hi. Don't worry about your spelling. I understood everything you wrote. Trinidad? What's the weather like there?

This place saved my life from boredom too. :big grin:

Hey Mani,

Thanks, I like the Chef too. Riley was paying around with the sketch pad so I posted her work for a bit. She also likes this little guy, so I'll leave it up for a bit...as well

I am going to try to sleep again, Good night
