It's a lawyer and detective/police officer. The lawyer's invited the other woman over and she's nervous because they've been lightly flirting for months but she's only ever had two lovers, both male. The rest of the story is entirely um physical except at point the lawyer mentions how the police officer had won her attention one day when a female victim of some crime was sat at the police station alone and crying and everyone was too busy and no one paid attention to her except for this officer, who treated the woman with tenderness, patience and kindness.
