Can anyone recommend a good Uber conqueror story ?
I love Xena the conqueror. Please not any in which Xena is a slave. I hate those stories. :peace:

Do you mean a present-day Conqueror story or just a story with Xena as the Conqueror?

An uber version of the conqueror in that the Xena character has power or dominance over the Gabbrielle character.

You can find plenty of Conqueror stories at the Conqueror's Library. The Academy of Bards has alternative and general Conqueror stories. AUSXIP has Conqueror stories at The Bard's Corner.

If you're not sure what story you'd like to read, go to Lunacy's Conqueror Reviews or
Cee's Conqueror Reviews.

Most, if not all, of these stories are set in the same time frame as the original series, is this what you had in mind?

I have an extensive collection of the classic Conqueror stories. I am looking for something more modern it does not have to be a present day verison

Not to toot my own horn or anything, but my story The Out (http://xenafiction.net/scrolls/the_fallen_the_out.html) started life as an Uber-Conqueror story: a dominant Xena-character, queen of what she does, in bed (politically, not literally) with many other of her kind, semi-evil and mostly being led astray by a more powerful being. She rides into town and takes captives, one of whom happens to be submissive-Gabrielle character. While a prisoner, the Uber-Gab begins to reform the Uber-Xena, with unexpected consequences.

Of course, it kinda changed as I wrote it but there are still many Conqueror-elements there.

Several S. Anne Gardner's fics could be seen as Uber Conqueror stories set in the modern world. All are very good. You'll find them here on the Athenaeum.

It may not be exactly what you're looking for but D. Virtue's Corporate Raider (http://blmiller.net/room/drama/corporate1.html) definitely has a modern Conqueror feel to it.

There's a fantastic author, phair, who has some amazing fiction that has some uber conqueror fic as well.

Coward - Uber X has been sentenced to imprisonent on a hellish planet. Her tentmate Uber-G, is a young woman born on the prison planet, who knows no other life. Uber-X is not so friendly in the beginning.

To the Manor Sold - Uber-X's brother steals a slave and sells her. Uber-G is a broken slave, a 'good dog' in her own words. This story is the first in a trilogy.

First Seven then Eight - Uber-X is out for revenge on her ex-husband, by capturing his new wife. Uber-G tries to survive the experience.

These are the Conq. fics, but take the time to trawl through the site. Phair is an amazing writer, and these stories will definitely stay with you.

I love these kind of stories too and I remember I found a great one where uber-x was a drug lord and uber -G was a doctor?
