Please accept my meager suggestions. I've read about 50 or so books/long fics in the last month or so and it's made all the fiction stored in my head blend together worse than usual.
S. Derkins has quite a few stories that follow the matriarchal/female only society idea.
And a Door Opens...
Kicks off the series about a group of women finding another world. Lots of parts.

A woman is kidnapped from the present and taken to the future. Followed by a sequel called The Fallen.

If you haven't read the
Chronicles of Ratha series by Aurelia, you should hop to it. Hopefully those lovely stories will be published soon.

As a side note Jane Fletcher has a few series (one of which used to be online) with matriarchal/gender neutral societies in print and e-book format. Or from what I recall anyway. The male characters mentioned are generally so weak I hardly notice them.
TJ Mindancer also has a pretty interesting series with a matriarchal society...I'm not sure if they're available in e-book format as I have the books.
