Meet and Greet

Yipeee! FAKE girls are back, and probably about to run into the LATX girls…. Can’t wait :big grin:
Lots of germs around: bad colds, cough, runny noses, ears not working, bronchitis…. I’m wearing gloves and a mask as I write and I’m not taking them off until you all get better, which of course I hope is soon :)
And I don’t have a gaydar. I wouldn’t spot a lesbian on Gay Pride Parade. I’m serious. I’m hopeless. :sad2:

God I feel like Mr Green from CLUE crying out, "I didn't do it!" I didn't get anyone sick...but we should probably look up if germs can go through the computer. Still, I wont take the blame for Scotti or Meshebe. Speaking of you Meshebe, gasp indeed. You posted something without me having to remind you eight times. Forgive me for hoping you might forget to be a good forumer and not post so much. You could spread some interesting rumors about me...I'm glad you're editing my story though :)

I'm sorry for you're lack of gaydar Rosa. I have to admit mine is generally based off stereotypes but stereotypes are usually based on some truth.

Oh, god yall. Today was nice but I wish to God I never had to do it. Sucks being president and responsible. My cold is going to be twelve times worse tomorrow I can feel it. I'm exhausted, hurting, still coughing, and my ear fills fuller which makes me deafer. Back to the clinic for me tomorrow.

I think she went to a masquerade type dance. I designed her mask last night ^^P

She wanted it the half face (like upper face) type so she could still kiss a girl if the opportunity arose. :whistling:

You better show me how that mask turned out Silver Dear :big grin:

Obviously there was no filter built into the masked that was designed for you Silver, if it was designed so you could go around snoggin on people. How many did you infect with your cold germs as you did your (quite commendable) BTW, AIDS awareness work???

The dance is Thursday evening. The AIDS Walk was on Sunday in Atlanta. We walked 5k and it was windy and coldddd. We did it to raise awareness and to raise money for people infected with HIV. The ball/dance is Thursday and that's to raise canned food for the Diversity House, which is a place where people with HIV can live if they don't have a home. Well half the cans are going there, the other half is going to the Food Pantry. Anyway, I don't think I infected anyone at the walk. I coughed into my shoulder and elbow like a good sick child.

Well I jokingly said the half mask design would be so I could kiss girls, I think now it will be so I can easily cough up more mucus. Sounds fabulously doesn't it? Sorry, life's digusting. At most I'll do at the ball is dance.

Ahhhhhh!!! Meshebe, I'm going to get you. Everyone Meshebe is (when she's not procrastinating) a great artist, my editor, and my best friend. Say hello to her now because I'll probably kill her when I see her.

:applause: :applause: :applause: For April, for going to the AIDS Walk in Atlanta in spite of being sick. Both awareness and money definitely need to be raised.
Hello, Meshebe, from what I've read so far you are a wonderful editor  I hope April doesn't really plan on acting on her threats, but, in case she does, it was nice to meet you :D

Ah she says that all the time, and I'm not dead yet (that's where the 900 some miles comes in handy I guess) :big grin:

Thank you cavedweller, from what I've read you're quite a cool person ;) lol

So um, is there some kind of introduction that I should have partook in? Or did you handle that for me April? :)

Well you have to give us a weather update, Meshebe. And tell us some embarrassing moment even though I already know most of them. And you have to tell us a joke. Other then (than?) that, you're welcome abroad.

Hello Yuri and Scottie ^^P Thanks for the warm welcome! :big grin:

Yes April it's than. shesh that girl and her thens and thans :P

Okay first off the weather here is amazing. Maybe a little on the windy side, but the sun is shinning and the sky is blue the temperature is nice (73 degrees). It was freezing windy and raining when I got sick and now that I'm sick the weather is that perfect fall weather we get one week out of the year here in Kansas. Well that's life I suppose.

Next, embarrassing moment. Until like a month ago I would have to sit here and think for ten minutes to try to come up with something. But luckily (for you guys) my most embarrassing moment happened just recently. So my boyfriend and I went out to eat and we dressed up you know for the hellovit ^^ it's fun, and he told me he was going to pay for it all. We went to the Olive Garden and I had the salmon and he had some beef stuff in some pasta stuff. We also had calamari for an appetizer. Olive Garden has great calamari by the way :big grin: So we eat everything then see that they have tiramisu :love struck: so we decide to split a piece for dessert. If you haven't noticed we're not holding back much and I'm feeling rather special. Also right about then I was feeling rather sick. This is where the story gets horribly embarrassing :crying2: I excuse myself after taking a few bites of the wonderful tiramisu and go to the bathroom. My mouth is watering and I feel awful and you all know what's coming. And it happens, no joke, five feet from the restroom door. Which is wonderfully placed right by the door where people enter and exit the restaurant. Wonderful planning on the architects part. Well I catch most of it and run (in high heels x.x) the rest of the way to the bathroom. I clean myself up (I didn't get it everywhere) wait like five minutes and catch my breath and go back. Trying to salvage what would be left of a wonderful night, I tell my guy that everything's alright and to finish the tiramisu himself because i was full. :big grin: I still feel sick though. I just keep thinking, ah as soon as I get outside feel the fresh cool air I'll feel better. Well we finish up and leave and I put all my energy in looking fine (haha certainly didn't feel it) and we walk outside and I remember I'm in the middle of a big city and the air was hot muggy and smelt awful. So I'm holding my boyfriends hand and he's like, are you sure you're okay (he's no dummy he probably knows I threw up in the restaurant :( ) and I have my hand by my mouth and I shake my head no. He's like are you going to throw up and I nod. Now mind you, we're walking by those giant plate glass windows that run along the side of any restaurant and I'm just thinking, hold it til we get past those... I succeed but just barely. My boyfriend is like there there it's okay baby etc. Man I love that guy. I gave him the keys and he got some napkins out of the car and i cleaned myself up again. And he still hugged me and loved on me and told me it was okay. I told him I was terribly sad about throwing up after he paid for everything (we usually go dutch). He said he didn't care. The greeks used to eat and throw up and eat some more, he said, as long as I enjoyed it on the way down then it was worth while. lol :big grin: the rest of the evening was great, I felt much better after that second time. P:

How ridiculous right? :whew: Blame April if that was too long or too embarrassing, she knew that was the story when she said it.

Okay last, a joke, to lighten the mood I suppose. I didn't have any good ones off the top of my head (I'm not much of a joke teller) so I found this one online. Hope you enjoy it:

When NASA first started sending astronauts into space, they quickly discovered that ballpoint pens would not work in zero gravity. To combat the problem, NASA scientists spent a decade and $12 billion to develop a pen that writes in zero gravity, upside down, underwater, on almost any surface including glass and at temperatures ranging from below freezing to 300°C.

The Russians used a pencil.

I didn't know you were in a Criminology class. :P why do you heart your teach?

And don't worry I had my lesbian moments. Not saying straightness is better or anything, not at all. Just that straight is my thing. Probably because of the guy I'm with. I mean if he didn't exist and April lived closer who knows what would happen :whistling: lol

where is the dies from overblushing icon? Well it's nice of you to say that Scotti please note the two requirements before that would even happen. While distance isn't a problem, her boyfriend is actually a great guy from what I hear and I wouldn't break them up for anything. So, get used to it but Meshebe is staying straight. But by all means, flirt with her.

I heart my teacher because she's super cool. Today we were talking about social norms and she was like, "When I got this job I asked what should I wear? They replied nothing too sexy. I thought well that doesn't help much. I mean I guessed nipple tassels and ass-less chaps were out but sexy is in the eye of the beholder."

I was so bad in class. She was like, "What do you know about suicide?" I replied, "What do you want us to know about suicide?" She just gave me a pointed look and said, "April I'm not liking your attitude right now. Nope, not at all." After class she said, "April why you gotta be such a smartass?" I replied, "I'm sorry but you caught me off guard. I've dealt with suicidal...issues before. I mean what was I supposed to say? If you want to kill yourself don't run across the street but down it?" She laughed and came over to kinda punch/touch my arm (I guess that's a comfort thing). She said, "I'm going to tell on you." (We both love Dr. Harris) I said, "Go on, I don't care. Dr Harris already knows I'm a smartass."
