Yay April :D :D
I totally sent some psychic healing waves to your mom earlir. Please pretend that didn't sound kinda weird.
I hope everything is going fine for her right now, and that you are ok. Just take a deep breath, and relax. It went well.
Oh and make sure you eat and drink fluids, your mom would get mad if you passed out at the hospital. Not good buddy.
I gotta make sure ya take care of yourself too :)

Thanks Yuri and Laurel. My mom's fine. She got back to her room and the first thing she asked for a cup of coffee. :big grin: Yep, she doing just fine.

Hick, My mama refused to take morphine. She pressed the morphine once and it made her sick so she told them she wanted some pills. I hear it takes 2 to 3 months to recovery completely.

I'm glad to hear things are going well with your mother April :)

You guys are also wonderful friends may I add, very supportive. It made me glad reading all the posts (just took me like five or ten minutes to catch up lol) ;)

Anyway, I don't feel well (because I haven't ate much today) and there's not that much going on here (except that I'm back from Sam's club and the weather is wonderful) so I'm going to go eat something :P lol

:o I haven't posted on the forum in literally one day! :o The horror. The horror. I'm still alive!!! I'm still here!!! Still queer!!!

My Mama is doing okay. She's getting bed-fever. She's in more pain but that's good, it means feeling is returning to her knees.

I've had to return to Milledgeville to attend classes. :( Can't mess any of them. Excuses accepted but it doesn't make up for lost material. Sucks.

It sounds weird to say hurrah that your mom's in more pain, but I'm happy that it sounds like everything went well and she's starting to heal up. :big hug:

Yeah, that does suck, but playing catch up is annoying. Your mom sounds very resourceful, so I'm sure she'll be just fine. You could always make some food and take it to her this weekend.

lol, I thought the point of someone being in the hospital was so other people could bring you and your family food. I do like cookies. I also like hashbrown casserole and bread pudding.

If you have time to be correcting me Miss Michele, you have time to be working in Brice :peace:

Right now I'm eating ramen noodles with an egg (Watches as Scotti kills over) and about to start studying Abstract. Then I'm going to pass out. Mama's doing good. She walked today. She'll try stairs tomorrow. When I pick her up I'll have to use my step-dad's Nissan Titan :( I don't like that truck.

I think...I think I'll just skip studying Abstract tonight and go straight to sleep. Can I please?

Oh, and by the way, Zee and Windstar have come out with Zoya on the Academy's Halloween Invite and its ffing amazing. All of you should go read! But...it's a nonstopper so don't read if you aren't prepared to stay up a few hours.

Top Ramen with egg, is that like the Horrible version of Egg Drop Soup??

You are Killing me Silver, Killing me.. Arrggg

I'd rather you eat the canned Potato Soup.... Couldn't you at least get some Deli meat and decent bread for a sandwhich?

I am glad your Mom is recovering, and really sorry bout the pain..

Aren’t we all just great? :applause: :applause: for us all, for being such a fun, supportive bunch.
Yuri, we’ve missed you. Where have you been?
Your mom is already on the way to full recovery, April. I’m so happy that everything went well and she’s starting to heal up. :big hug: for both of you.

Cookies and hashbrown casserole and bread pudding are fine, but I’m going to have to agree with Scotti on this one, I mean, ramen noodles with an egg?? It cannot get any worse than that... Wait, it actually could if you added some peanut butter on top. Ewww

I've never had egg drop soup so I don't know if it is a version of it. Michele, it's really good for something really cheap. I mean it gives you a bowl full of good food for like, what, 25 cents? All I did was boil the noodles till they were soft (just for you Scotti I tossed in some parsley and dill weed) and cracked an egg in and cooked until the egg looked cooked. Then I added in the chicken flavoring. It's yummy.

Scotti if it makes you feel annnyyyy better, for lunch that day I had a sandwich made with decent bread and a porkchop cooked in peppercorn seasoning. I usually just have sliced ham from Wal-mart though. The purple pack, not the blue or pink...

Ewww, Rosa, that just made me want to vomit. Peanut butter on egg and ramen? You don't put peanut butter on anything related to meat! Gross, Rosa, just gross.

Michele! Like when are we going to have a real conversation one day?

Thank you Pippin, oh my gosh I think my headache is finally gone..You Rule!!

Silver yes that is the Horrible Version og Egg Drop soup.. However I give you props for theDill and Parsley.

It least you have the foresight to flavor it up.. Porkschop sandwich is excellent choice.. I know I need to consider the College version of affordable cuisine.. Thank God I've already had that experience that..

Try this Caprese Pasta Salad

1 pound cooked, drained, and cooled pasta (elbows or other shape)
1/2 pound diced ripe tomatoes
1/2 pound diced fresh mozzarella
1/4 cup vinaigrette
lots of fresh basil, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
(optional additions that I sometimes add - sliced black olives, sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts)

Mix ingredients together and serve. Tasty cheap and easy..I add Roasted Pine nuts too..

Scotti just what is it with you and Roasted Pine Nuts? I swear I've seen you add them in over half the recipes you talk about. Thanks for the recipe though. I'll give it a try one of these days.
P.S. How's the bronco in your chest and your parents?

Well my mom came home this afternoon. Her and my Aunt Kaye tried out every chair and bed in the house and found that everything is too low except my bed. However since my room is too cluttered and messy, she can't sleep in there. Ergo, I had to take the mattress off my bed and put it on hers. They stole cushions off the second couch and put them on the first one. We have made the house very disabled friendly except for those steps...

For all you who heard my bragging about making love with my Graph Theory test and giving it multiple orgasms...well...apparently I was very over-confident. The moment I left that test, she told all the other tests I was over confident and barely knew what I was doing. I apparently couldn't figure out what made her complete and where to find her G-spot. I made a 62 out of a 100.   In my defense, the test average was a 70. Still :crying2:

April don't feel bad. The chem II test i was dreading... I got the results the other day. i got a 50 something!!! that's the first test i've gotten an... F... on before....

i don't know what the class average was but two of my friends got a D on the test. and they're very much so smart like. i could tell though no one was happy with the results. it was terrible. like a manslaughter thing (can't think of the right word).

oh and April, i think you got it a little wrong in the voicemail. you mentioned it would be a long drive. correction: that's a long fucking drive. lol :D
i started laughing.

but hey talk to you later.

PS I hope everyone else is doing better on tests than we are! lol ;)

To include on the failing grades...I failed my Caclulus test the other day. I don't have the score yet, but I spent an hour and forty five minutes on 9 problems. I didn't know what I was doing at all. I wanted to cry. Therefore! I completely understand April, and michele. And then! I have an economics test on friday :D I'm gonna fail that one too! yay me.

I'm sorry I've been gone for the past week or so though. I've had a busy week. How did everyone's halloween go? I hope very well :)
I should be around more lately, I hope. I miss you guys a whole lot.

Rosa? Peanut Butter? Gross on what you said. *shudder*
But peanut Butter is good all alone :D

Aww, Michele, Yuri, come here. :big hug: We shall overcome.

My halloween was okay. I didn't do anything special. Didn't even put on a mask. I did wear my cloak but only cause it was cold in the house.

Hey Scotti, I told my mom about how I teased you with ramen noodles and egg and also canned potato soup and she said, "I'd like a good potato soup recipe." So, have any?

I just read an awesome little story about a dragon named April. She (well technically in the story April is a he) gets the princess and goes off to live happily ever after.
