'Distance' The third Red and Evadne story

Postby dinasbran » Sun May 11, 2008 3:47 pm

Distance, they say, makes the heart grow fonder. With Red back in her home state and Evadne still in Boston, the first part is certainly true. With old enemies, new friends, and their usual ability to get into trouble, will our two heroines save the day and finally succumb to the truth both have been avoiding...

Part one of 'Distance' The third Red and Evande story should be posted soon.

The second (and final) part is close to being finished and for the first time, having finally plucked up the courage to write it, there is to be rumpy-pumpy :big grin:

Cheers.

I think this story is marvelous...I enjoyed the interaction of Red and Evadne and particularly loved the new intimacy to their relationship...the love and then consummation of their love brought your story to new heights and if I may say caused me to put on a fan...grin...I hope you continue with this series...These characters are already favorites of mine and they just keep getting better and better...If it were up to me...you would be sitting in the number one spot already...congratulations Dinasbran for your good work...I look forward to the next installment of the Red and Evadne adventures...

I hadn't read the Red and Evandne stories previously. DW's post motivated me to give them a go.

I loved them! Both Red and Evandne where great characters and each of the stories was really interesting :applause:

QMBG/BR to insert (and I say that in the nicest possible way :winking2: ) a smiley, you should just be able to click on it and the code is added to your post.

Thanks for all the kinds words - both on the forum and posted against the story. Nice to know people other than my Mum like my stories - Especial thanks for DW's ringing endorsement of my story - someone should have a job in advertising :not worthy:

It was especially nice to get comments from a fellow writer - especially one as good as badsquirrel. :hug2:

Red and Evadne willl be back and we'll be finding out more about Red's dysfunctional family in the process. However, first I shall be leaving the 1920s for the 1460s in order to pick up 'A Warwick, A Warwick' and get that poor neglected story finished - so watch this space...

Cheers

Dogz... then why doesn't it work...I've tried and tried to get my pussycat...you were thinking i wasn't going to put cat there weren't you...and it doesn't work...why oh why won't my smilies work...my computer must be broken... :whew: I've discovered it doesn't work in preview mode and only after you submit...or so I believe and this is a test of that hypothesis...

A job in advertisement...never thought of that...of course, if the products were as good as your story...I would have no problem marketing them...you get a resounding stamp of approval...

Dogz you have good taste...in following my judgment...grin...keep up the good work...Dinasbran is a keeper...lets get her to number 1...

p.s. any thoughts on getting that quote thing to remember what I write

i just finished reading these stories...again.

it's such a great series. i love how well the characters have been visualized and how consistent they are in word and action. watching two such different characters fall in love while staying true to their natures is very rewarding.

i also really enjoy the otherworldly elements of your plot lines. it's so hard to write the intangible and unexplainable well. you do it with class and style, without sacrificing believability.

you are a very skillful writer, dinasbran. i thoroughly enjoy your stories and look forward to reading more from you. i know it takes a lot of time and effort to pen a good tale. i will be patient.
Shut up and be happy.

Really ask yourself, If you had not put the amount of time that you have into the relationship, and just started dating a few months ago, would you still be dating them?
