Howdy Mikala -- welcome to our fun house!

Hi Yuri and Scotti - I have to say I'm in the same camp as K & Mikala and have yet to see the whole series. I saw some of the first 2 years, but sadly not much more.

I like the conqueror stories, but usually just enjoy the ubers or originals or other universes. I'm been on a little hiatus trying to figure out my life. I gave notice at my job and have applied to a few other places, but I had enough and now hope to not be unemployed for long. I've been considering going back to school, but nixed that for now. I guess I could try an online school if I'm out of work so I'm productive.

Hope every one is well. Have a good night.

Oh hey, Yuri, happy belated birthday! I missed that part of the post.
By the by, I'm all for the lottery tickets, but skip the cancer sticks, will ya? Roll up the lotto ticket and smoke it if you really feel the urge.

Kali, sounds like an exciting new direction for you! Scary as well, I'd imagine, so good luck and I hope it all works out the way you want it to. What would you study if you did decide to go back to school?

Happy Belated B-day Yuri! :big grin: Its a lot easier to stop buying lottery tix that it is to stop smoking, unless the gambling endorphins are particularly strong for you. :batting_eyelashes:

Hey K,
I am considering nonprofit acccounting or financial anaylsis. I like my work, but the isolation has been hard. I'd prefer working with a team of people for a worthy cause. I've been in an office by myself for the last few years and its been depressing. I have some financial skills so this would be an extention. This way I can be more creative in my personal life and work will be more predictable even if its new. That said, I am looking at a few opportunites that are at different organizations.

YURI!!! Happy Birthday Buddy! I'm going to be extremely busy on Thrusday, so Happy Birthday early. :big hug:

Amber! *gasp* You have not seen the series??!! Buddy, we need to get that fixed prompto! How have you been? Its been a long time!

Dude, don't I know that! I'm still waiting for a magical full time job to appear so I can afford to rent/buy seasons. I swear, finding a decent job right now is like fishing. You get some nibbles on your line, but overall it's boring as hell and just as productive. :sleepy:

And how have I been? Eh, same old same old really. Still working part time as a security officer (still no handcuffs, sorry ladies. :winking2: ) and still looking for a full time job. Been down in the dumps the last couple of weeks since my girlfriend broke up with me. I tell ya, long distance relationships suck. But I finally decided that I've been moping around long enough and gave myself a quick boot to the arse today. So I should be hanging around more often than I have been now... unless I manage to scrape up enough money and randomly buy a motorcycle to take a road trip around the lower 48 in the US. :big grin: Hmmmm, who knows. It could happen. :laughing2:

True, we need to start chit chatting again. :D But to tell you the truth, I haven't been real social for the last few weeks, so you haven't missed much. I found that all the seasons for Stargate SG-1 are up on Hulu until May 15th, so I've been melting my synapses through an overload of sci/fi.

It is a most excellent plan! Except that I actually highly doubt that I'll end up getting motorcycle, that was more along the lines of wishful thinking really. Blasted student loans. *shrug*

You're welcome! And just think, as soon as you hit your birthday, you'll be 2/3 of an adult in the eyes of the law. Something to think about. :big grin: :big grin:

Oh yay....the law

ahahha Amber guess who I saw this morning when I was in line to buy my prom ticket? And this is before school, on the third floor in a back classroom. I'm telling you my life could be a story lol That one girl I spoke to you about came into the classroom behind me and of course I was trying everything I could not to look at her  What a coincidence...again.

LMAO! I dunno what it is about you and that gal, but daaaayum. You two remind me of magnets. Maybe she's secretly hoping that you'll ask her to the prom? :batting_eyelashes: You never know, the L word had a saying that went something like women are straight... until they're not. :big grin:

AAAH! I have to be up in like 5 hours. Ugh, I am sooo not a morning person  Night all!

Thank you :)

Prom was fun! :D
Although it did kinda suck that I didn't have a dance partner. But otherwise, fun :)

Oh, so I think my school may not let me walk at graduation cause I don't want to wear a dress :/
Girls MUST wear dresses and I refuse to, and I'll be really upset if they ruin my graduation for that. I'm the first one to get a diploma too!

Howdy Yuri, That really sucks about the dress thing! I know it has been along time since I graduated from high school, but there were a few of us that felt like you so we wore a dress shirt and shorts and sandells nobody but us knew that we did not have a skirt on under our gowns!!! :) Just an idea for you to think about  Hope it all works out for you . Glad you had a nice time at your prom!!

Girls MUST wear dresses???? That is crazy. No one should be forced to wear what they don't want to wear. I can't believe that in this day, they are forcing females to wear dresses!!! I am 48 and I probably have worn maybe 10 dresses in my day (mom made me wear them)!!! I agree that it feels nice to dress up in a dress - but not if you are uncomfortable about it. There are MANY handsome people who look good - not in a DRESS. :winking2: I wish you good luck, Yuri and feel for you.

I'm glad you had a good time at the prom!
