Gaiore males are always designated from what region they were born in with the letter of the region and a hypen before family name. It has to do with old tradition of drafting males for war, with the regions determining how many are drafted per quarter of a war. Should any male move from his birth-region during his life time, he had to go back for the duration of the war.
War in Gaiore and the surrounding planets is now fought in games, with athletes representing the various planets, cities, states, organizations, recruited from recruiters that get a finders fee from the clubs that train the athletes.
Talog Collage - the name of the collection of planets that unified under the premise to agree to disagree on individual planet business but to keep the space around them open for trade.
Recruiters - General Tatolormufamesambula was in charge of the organization that gathered people who were willing to fight for the various clubs. Cl'mandata is his aid.
Ventor Sujay = lead researcher at the recruiter science facilities.

Deluxe Belton = D-Belle her owners liked to call her. She was a private luxury ship with a lot of little extras that most private liners did not have. Speed was one of them. It cruised at 4gs. Weapons yes.
Verbouth Argonaut = nicknamed the Vernaut. New combination of science and war vessel. Military personal was about 1000, families and civilian crew numbered a little over that. It's cruise speed was 5 to 6gs. Most ships of this size did 3gs.
Catching Butterflies = a new class ship of 2000 personal, both civilian and military, sent out to investigate Arnica. This was the new Vernaut class. Cruised at 5gs.

Rouster = D-Belton upgraded on Catching Butterflies on her flight out to Arnica. It is Alan's ship that JG had grabbed a ride in to Arnica. It now is taking three of them back to Eckron sector and a fourth at their second stop.

Hekate's Inner Circle = a female group of warriors and healers that work, usually covertly, for the preservation of the Counsel's Mandate of Peaceful coexistence among all member planets and not. This group of warriors for the goddess did not necessarily practice violence. They protected themselves when needed and underwent deep soul searching before and after a job that had required taking of another's life. Though they were not 'sensitives' that physically suffered for this they treated it as the 'sensitives' did.
House of Jeborhara = Healers house on Velta IV, where Zohra was born and spent the first four years of her life.
KOAN leaders:
DeDe is the primary leader of the Koan. She is an empath.

Erg- ship at a controlled drift. A higher erg is used to maneuver out of docks.
Fribeth - used by the sidhe/faryes to mean nonfaires.
G - is the measure of a ships speed. Four gs used to be a slow private craft. 6 and 7 gs is a small fighter craft but they don't sustain this speed for long. New war/science ships are now cruising at this speed.
General Quarters - emergency on the ship. All hands must report to their designated places.

Species characteristics and qualities:
Arnot = slim and gray toned. Has no gender but can take on the characteristics of other gender specific species.
Carbou = hunters that hunted anything for sport. They left their scent, males and females, when they were on a hunt and warned others that their prey was theirs. They used thoughts of their prey or their emotional feelings to help them find their prey. Coarse haired. Most of their body was covered in this coarse hair. Their coloring varied with black spots over gray background was common.
Humans = varied in species appearances more than any other species. They also genetically mixed with other species more than any of the others, being more curious and adventuress in intimate relationships.
Thebieuans = females possessed the ability to self-fertilize as well as fertilize other females under certain biological conditions. They were also able to mesmerize others to believe whatever tale they told if they put their minds to it.
Elf/sidhe = varied in size, temperament and abilities. Characteristics of the taller sidhe were usually a long face and pointed ears, but that was not always the case. However, thin colored hair, usually white to light brown and long thin hands with elegant fingers, were their trademarks. Brownies, faeries, leprechauns, banshee, nymph, pixies and sylphs, are some of their relatives, some ancient in genetic kinship and some not that different.
