Naten, you are a wonderful writer that is for sure. I love your Allison & MJ series. please keep writing them and i am eagerly looking forward to reading another one. they are getting married, they are having a baby, more....... - Anonymous - Aug-18-2008 It was nice to see Ali and MJ in happier times in this small follow up to the terrific but emotional roller coaster 'Turning Tides'. It's very apparent that the 'old' MJ is still lurking just beneath that beaufiful exterior. I would love A.K. Naten to get back in the saddle and give these girls another go round. After all 'Turning Tides' is one of the best. Whaddya say? - Sai - Aug-21-2008 WooHoo!!! I was really hoping there would something that followed Turning Tides, and this is a pretty nice addition. Any more you want to dust off would be greatly appreciated - Sarmentosa - Aug-25-2008 Glad to see you're back! Very nice story. - Anonymous - Aug-27-2008 This is such a wonderful little story about one of my favorite couples. I know you've had some troubling times, A.K.Naten, and i'm sure glad to see you trying to resurface. I miss reading you! Please write more soon! - Anonymous - Sep-05-2008 The early Valentine's gift is just great. I had to laugh out loud :-). - Anonymous - Oct-09-2008 What a great early Valentine's Day gift! hahaha. =) - BYL - Feb-08-2009 I really liked this short story... Left me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside... - BlueButterfly - Aug-11-2009 A VERY NICE FOLLOW-UP TO "TURNING TIDES"!!! VERY SWEET ENDING! - Hot Tamale - Aug-19-2009 What a great story. A bit of a roller coaster ride but well worth reading every up and down and twist and turn. It certainly kept me wanting to read more.I highly recommend reading this talented authors work. - uber goober - Oct-18-2009 Another great story. Good job. - sassy123 - Nov-01-2010 Nice sequel. They're a nice couple and this is a sweet story. - Lyn B - Mar-14-2011 really loved the way their relationship has evolved.. i'm also thoroughly relieved you didn't make this an epilogue of the turning tide because the styles of both stories are quite different.. the second tide is far more light hearted than the first tide.. so making the former into an epiolgue of the latter would have decremented both tides.. - Anonymous - Jun-02-2011 Welcome back! Thank you so much for your stories. - Anonymous - Aug-24-2011 sequel please please please please please please! - braniac - Feb-23-2012 A lovely addition to a novel 'Turning Tides' :) They became a very cute couple. - M.E. - Mar-13-2013 This book is just taste of thing to come. It's worth reading. Hopefully, the author would expand further the relationship of Allison and M.J. in another book. I know it been awhile since the author last book but I'm hoping she write again. she is too talented to stop. - Anonymous - Nov-26-2015 |

Any hope that you're still planning to post another addition to this great series? - Anonymous - Sep-28-2012 Wow! Terrific read! - Georgia - May-25-2014 Fantastic second story and a must read for SG1 fans. This well written tale has something for everyone while staying true to Romansilence's romantic nature. Very highly recommended. - Stacia - Jul-23-2014 I'm really enjoying this series, and sincerely hope the author will be able to complete and release part III at some point. One of the first Author stories I ever read when joining the Net was a Missy Good story. A wonderful writer Missy brings warmth, love, adventure, Evil and true love into all her stories. Whether it be Classic Xena and Gabrielle to her Uber adventures Missy shines. If you read one thing this New Years Eve read this ladys work. You will not be disappoint. - Daydreams - Dec 31st, 2002 Melissa Good is an exceptional talent. She magically weaves her tales leaving the reader breathless, excited, glad, sad and completely in love with the characters. She is a multi-karat diamond...Only one problem with Champion - Can't get linked to Chapters 10 & 11. - Anonymous - Jul 17th, 2003 Loved, just loved this whole story. I have read from "A Warrior By Any Other Name" to "Champion". Melissa shows a great relationship with X&G. Fantanstic storylines!! I hope that Melissa has not ended this saga. I know you want to write other fanfic. But fans like me want to know what happens with Dori, how is she going to grow up?? Will she be like Xena or Gabrielle?? Is Xena a demi-god and does that mean she is immortal, where would that leave Gabrielle. Thank you for these great stories, I hope you continue with it. - Bratisme - Nov 1st, 2003 I could write pages of praise about this writer but let me simply say...another fantastic story by the champion of bards!!! Brava Melissa!!! - JC - Jul-22-2007 Very creative...this author inspires me to write! - bluebutterfly - May-03-2010 Melissa Good is an extraordinary writer, with a brilliant imagination and an uncanny grasp of the nature of the main characters' relationship, which she keeps firmly in the center of all of her narratives. "Champion" is a wonderful story that explores the role family and community is supposed to have in keeping us safe and secure in a world that can be a lot like paradise - until, in our pursuit of power and our desire to inflict our personal ideology on others, we choose to fill it with cruelty and pain. - xnalvs - May-03-2010 Melissa Good is one of my favorite bards. I've loved everything she has written ! This story was intense and fast paced. The whole soulmate series is a MUST read. Very, Very Good ! - Anonymous - May-12-2010 |

A series that is easy to recommend to 'you' to read, one that you will be glad that you have. - affr - Jul 28th, 2003 The five stories in the Mulligan series are all very charming - not to mention well-written. "Love in Photographs" was my favorite story from this author, but now I have a new one! I absolutely adored the way the new characters were blended with the ones from "Love in Photographs". Readers get a chance to see new relationships develop while enjoying some old favorites! A must read for any fan of Alex Tryst! She's right though in her disclaimer in my opinion. Would be best enjoyed after reading "Love in Photographs" first. - Anonymous - Mar 5th, 2003 Ms. Tryst seems to get better with every story. This is a pretty good read with a chance to see Torrance (drool) from "Love in Photographs" again. The strip club scene's "climatic" end makes this story worth the price of admittance. - Kaye - Mar 6th, 2003 I just read this the other night. After reading Love in Photographs..I just had to read this one. It left you wanting more hanging on the edge of a cliff wanting to hear more about Georgia and Blake. After Blake is hurt and Torrance takes her picture...that really touched me. Great job to the author on another awesome tale. I hope to read more soon :) - Caden - Mar 9th, 2003 I adored this piece! It was a super "unofficial" sequel to Love in Photographs. Great characters and a great story line! Good job on the southern accent as well. A must read. - Anonymous - Mar 31st, 2003 Yet another fine story from a bard who just seems to get better and better as each tale unfolds. Love in photographs was my favourite story, until this little gem came along. Alex Tryst has certainly a talented way with words, love the way she develops a plot, throws some rather unexpected twists and turns to the reader, never mind the, will they, won't they in her stories. A fine piece of work, very skilled in its attempt to portray the southern accent, that I am glad to say works well. Cannot wait to read her new story, just posted - Stick to the Script. A Must Read. - Del - Jun 6th, 2003 This story builds great and you will enjoy how the characters are used from story to story. - jd - Jan-17-2007 this whole series is great. Oh that rare breed, the well considered story. This is a tremendously well written tale. It calls for great sensitivity on the part of the author who obviously possesses it in spades. She has also adeptly provided the characters with rare depth for a novella. A lot of effort has been put into the research for this piece and I strongly suspect our author is obsessed with the outdoors - the story is all the more credible for it. That is not to say that every situation is entirely credible (I did find myself wondering when a fuller explanation was going to be given for one or two events) but considering the number of strands to the story, only the pedants amongst us would be critical of that. Nevertheless, this is a fine story with a satisfyingly plausible ending. It gets my highest recommendation - believe me that's rare! - Pam - Nov-22-2006 Excellent read, interesting characters, and a cool survivalist twist on TEOTWAWKI. I definitely recommend it. - joan - Mar-22-2007 Excellent story, well researched, with solid characters. Wonderful! A futuristic love tale filled with amazing battles, incredibly smart wit and complex and compelling characters. Don't miss this one. - Anonymous - Feb-04-2008 In the last 15 years i've read many many stories online. As you can imagin they range from painfully hard to read, to those that I wish I had a hardcopy of to read again and again. Northstar and Southern Cross fall into the latter catagory. It was very well done and kept my attention all the way through. I bow to your ability Windstar... I wish I had your skill in writing. - Skyfire - Jul-05-2008 Great Story Line keep these two charactors going would love to read more about Emily and Julie. - Maismore - Jul-15-2008 It just sucks you in. Very very good. - RB - Oct-21-2008 An incredibly well thought-out and written sci-fi tale of a race of humanoids who been hiding in plain sight on earth suddenly having to not only "come out" but to ask for help when their highly destructive -- and hungry -- enemy discover their new home here on earth. Excellent, period. The follow on Southern Cross somehow manages to be even better -- squinty - Anonymous - Apr-03-2014 |

great story - Anonymous - Sep-08-2008 thank you! for sharing, this story. - sub - Nov-13-2008 I just finished 1941 (Dang if it wasn't too short, but such a wonderful story...I didn't want it to end), and you placed me, your reader, right within your story. I was there with Kate and Rose when they had their picnic, and I could see the devastation and smell the smoke with Rose once she reappeared from shelter after the bombing. Thank you for the very worthwhile entertainment and the most welcomed escape from reality...for a few minutes any way. - Sonya - Nov-19-2008 I love this story! Please please write a sequel. - Liza - Nov-22-2008 Loved this story. So well written and engaging. Would love to see a novel length version. - Anonymous - Dec-02-2008 mmm...pleasant. Very pleasant indeed. I could read it in the comfort that I was probably learning a thing or two about how to write short stories that flow well. More than that, I liked your insistence on a bit of character development before the women slobber over each other like a pack of she-dogs in heat (you can tell I've seen too many fics consisting of only the latter). Wait, she-dogs don't go for each other. We will ignore that technicality. I particularly liked that the girls "obviously had a mind". - Lethal_Teapot - Apr-08-2009 BEAUTIFUL!!!VERY WELL WRITTEN, ROMANTIC, ENCHANTING... The character Katherine is very charming .The end a little abrupt, but don't compromising .Bravo, Anex, for an unforgettable story! - Leth Cross - Apr-11-2009 I had read the first and loved it but I really enjoyed this revision just as much if not more. Keep 'em coming. Take care, Bett - Anonymous - Apr-13-2009 This is the first time I've read one of your stories and I enjoyed it very much. Rose and Kate certainly had a lot going against them. I really liked the character of Sam. Anymore going on with these 2? Thanks,Pat - Pat Iserman - Apr-17-2009 It was a good short read. She says in the disclaimers that she changed the ending because of complains. I'm curious as to the other ending. I also think this story has one of the most poinient lines I've ever read in a fanfic: "It was like discovering the meaning of life. " - Amanda - Sep-28-2009 Really a wonderful, enjoyable, engaging read. Well done. I would specifically read this author again. - Anonymous - Oct-02-2009 I really liked this story. I liked it so well that I wished it had kept going. - uber goober - Mar-16-2010 Anex - you are a very talented author ! Loved your short novella and my only wish was it was much longer so I could spend more time with the characters. Thank you for sharing your bardic skills with us here ! - Anonymous - Sep-06-2010 I enjoyed reading this story. It feels like there should be a sequel to it though. I'd like to see how their lives turned out. This is very well written and even without the romance there's a lot to enjoy about this period in time. Very nice. - Lyn B - Apr-10-2011 "I think perhaps I maybe turning in to a sex maniac." Freaking hilarious. A very sweet story. - kc - Apr-21-2011 so much has been said about this story already.. all true.. the fact that several people have quoted lines from the story is a dead give away just how well loved this story is.. - xtra dog - Dec-01-2011 |

A keeper! - ianic - Mar-28-2011 What a gem of a story. Really enjoyed it tremendously. Thanks Bracer for sharing it with us. Highly recommended. - colorado fan - Apr-18-2011 oh a verryy gggooooodd sotry I recommend this for all XWP lovers - erma - May-30-2011 This is an exceptionally tightly written epic story that is superior to most fan fiction stories. It has impressive detail and maintains its pace even though it is quite long. It has all the elements of a substantial skilled narrative, romance, humor, adventure and myth. The characters are multi dimensional and are easily visualized as flesh and blood along with some original characters that are equally complimentary to the story. This is a wonderful novel that is solid and enduring. What I liked most about this piece was the author addressing a much maligned character within Hebrew myth and the biblical apocrypha and gave her her voice and her power back, a voice that has been silenced by the patriarchs of the monotheistic religions for well over 2000 years, that have slandered and defamed her along with other strong and independent women, demanding they be beaten down into submission and second class status and learn to be sweet to their overlords. This is what they did to Lilith, the first woman before Eve, making her into a demon and succubus. Bracer brings her back to her rightful place before she was villanized by the Sky God religions. This is a highly recommended classic Xena story that is a keeper for the future when the well dries up for want of classic Xena stories. - kazy - Sep-05-2011 Fantastic story, interesting ending and one I will read again and again. If you have not read it, you should! - Starry - Oct-03-2011 This story was brilliant the writer depicted Xena and Gabrielle perfectly... loved every moment of it - Mel - Mar-03-2012 nhuh6A http://www.fgY2lP9v0g6Cx2Jl.com - xIhdsQdyW - Jul-11-2012 3xJgG9 http://www.fgY2lP9v0g6Cx2Jl.com - HvsOLFZplJqg - Jul-11-2012 |

I would just like to say that this was one of the best pieces of fiction I've read in a while. I was fascinated by the different subsets of the story and the development of the characters. By the time I finished reading, I was so involved that I didn't realize it ended, sitting there wondering "what happens?" (for two days I might add). I definitely look forward to a sequel. - Merlin - Jan 6th, 2003 Yeah, I'd really apreciate a sequel to this fine story- I hope the author doesnt let us hanging here for much time. - reverse_ip - Mar 8th, 2003 Ms.Tryst sweeps me of my feet with this one .a lovely romentic story . cannot wait to read the sequele. - Anonymous - Nov 20th, 2004 I love it!! - dejalexa - Sep-12-2006 Joining the ranks of those wanting a sequel, here. I love the characters, especially love the dad. This was written so responsibly; it covered all the bases...safe sex, love, pregnancy, marriage. This story is the perfect example of love between two people that creates such a bond that nothing can come between them. Please, this is a painting left unfinished, a masterpiece, please write a sequel. It's a great story! Lots of angst, which I'm not ever a fan of, but the end was so endearing. This story should not have been abandoned. Many thanks to the writer, though for sharing this story. I think it's beautiful. - Teresa - Oct-14-2008 Great spin on legally blonde. It's a keeper. - Karon Reiter - Jul-01-2011 Once again Bat Morda has crafted a meat and bones character that is equal in substance and plot development as Xena and Gabrielle are. Lovingly humorous and as always wonderfully crafted and executed in bringing out Xena and Gabrielle's attraction toward each other. Read it. You'll enjoy it. - kazy - Dec-06-2012 D'aaaaauuuwwww! This was so sweet. And really well written. It reads like it was meant for the show itself, in how it pays homage to its humor. Between that, the author's portrayal of X & G's relationship and first time, and her seamless integration of the supporting cast, it's a winner! - Anonymous - Jul-18-2014 |

I really loved reading it. It's a really great story. The interaction of the characters and the atmosphere are well written... it's a good mixture of "Bodyguard" (the movie), a family drama... and... well, let's put it that way: It gets kinda hot in the middle (very soon and very eager!)! HIGHLY RECOMMENDABLE! :-) - The Fic Addict - Jan 26th, 2005 This is really a great read folks. Greek Warrior has a way of not leeting you lose interst in this story. Daaaang, Larisa!!! You just keep out-doing yourself, don' 'cha??? Tundra combines an inventive and exciting plot, with Larisa's usual colorful cast of characters, including one absolutely hilarious cockatoo, who had me rolling on the floor, holding my sides and laughing hysterically!!! You can't leave it like that!!!!!! That typed, all I can say is that this story very much becomes what the reader makes it. Very interesting plot that can be considered either comedy or drama. Or both mixed into one. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - Anonymous - Aug-23-2007 If you want to laugh at a serious matter this is your story! I've never laughed so much at a serious matter and not felt guilty about it! Can't wait for part two! - Bd - Aug-24-2007 What a truly delightful read! Despite the dark tendrils of self-destructiveness and depression, Erin is a remarkable young woman. I see a lot of people in her, myself included, and I simply cannot wait to get to meet her and Alley again! What will their future hold? Would be an annoying cliffhanger if a sequel wasn't planned but since one is on the way - Read this one now! - Lindsay - Sep-15-2007 Is there really a sequel to this? Where can I find it? If that doesn't tell you what I thought about this story, I'll just spell it out..... LOVED it! - LMitz - Feb-02-2009 SEQUEL PLEEEEASE!!!!! - intheair - May-21-2011 i am going out on a limb here, but i assume the sequel referred to by some readers, is not coming.. not after 6 years since the first installment.. so the ending should be considered as just that: the end of the story.. the story is well written, no doubt about that.. one reader said that it changes depending your mood.. i agree.. but i think it is more of a tragic than a comic story.. some people get so lost in their own mind, they fail to see the bigger picture and lose all perspective.. this story is a brilliant testimony to that.. - xtra dog - Feb-03-2013 |

This story and it's prequel The Nearest Distant Shore are absolutely fabulous. The author has a wonderful grasp on the basics of forensic science, psychology, as well as plot development and most importantly matters of the heart. These stories are a wonderful mix of mystery, suspense, and romance. I loved it and hope that other's will check it out. - Kel - Dec 6th, 2002 Very well written, easy to follow, the flow was exceptional. Held my interest all the way through. Couldn't put either one down. It was a pleasure to read both the prequel and the sequel. Hope there will be more of the same from this wonderful author. - Paula - Mar 2nd, 2003 I have read a lot of fan fics but this one and The Nearest Distant Shore held me captive from start to finish. The emotional rollercoast that this story put me through is beyond any thing I have ever experienced while reading other stories. This story took me from laughter all the way through to crying my eyes out. This is one story that I will never get tired of reading over and over again. - Anonymous - Sep 29th, 2003 Morgan and Kathryn captivate the audience as they learn to live, love, and struggle through the obstacles life throws their way. The characterizations in this story are spot on, you can't help but fall in love with both women. Megan and Tracey while minor characters to be sure, also come to life and make you care for them deeply as well. I truly wanted to hate Megan when she appeared, but the author writes her in such a way that you know the pain she and Morgan went through make them better people. Little Mac weaves a plot that is both belivable and incredible at the same time. Moving you along on a tidal wave of emotion. OH MY GOD!!! This story is one of the best I've read in a long time. I had to stop myself from laughing out loud several times. The peeing standing up thing was so funny. I tryed it and it actually works and it's fun!!! Recommend that all women who hate squatting at least try it. Instructions at the end of story. Enjoy. - Anonymous - Jun 16th, 2003 Fantastic! Another great one and one of my favorites. I'm still waiting to see Larisa's stories published. How can we get that accomplished? - dreamer - Jun 17th, 2003 I have such a bone to pick with Ms. Larisa. Our relationship (mine and my dumbass girlfriends that is) is nearing breaking point because of your so called 'hilarious romps'. Well sure, I thought it was cute when she first jumped into bed wearing footie PJs, and I did so enjoy ripping the spiderman y-fronts off her firm smooth tan, ahem, uh, backside. I have just finished weening her off the Pez and donating all the dispensers to the neighboured kids. That's fine too. And I indulge the sippee cups she likes to drink her wine from...even when we have my folks over. When she painted herself green, we just made erotic paintings and said no more about it. However, to come home from a long day at work, stumble towards the shower and find my beloved avec hand at crotch, peeing (albeit with incredible accuracy - she does have amazing hand-eye coordination) whilst standing, is simply a step too far. Ms. Larisa, I plead with you to consider, when writing your next tale, some of your more impressionable fans..and their everloving girlfriends. Oh yeah and BTW bitchin' story, really love the 'bonding' scene. Dumbass will be thanking you for that tonight ;) - Stephanie - Jun 17th, 2003 This is classic Larisa! Funny, touching, an incredibly entertaining read and educational too!! Read it tonight you won't be sorry. Great job Larisa! - Anonymous - Jun 17th, 2003 Larisa's Amazon "wrecking crew" is alive and well and up to just as much, or more, mischief, as always!!! Their little piece of rural America is turned upside down and sideways as the four women plow their way through life on the farm, barn raisings, and the breaking of a possible arson ring. As always, with Larisa's tales, you'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll sit on the edge of your seat, then you'll laugh some more. Great job, Larisa!!! - Michelle - Jul 7th, 2003 I read this as part of the last request of my husband "Draco" who had posted on this site many times. In the beginning I thought this story would be "girl meets girl and they act like rabbits" but I was wrong. This is a great story the plot is wonderful and the way she got a dose of that stun gun and the cow missing Branson playing w/ her tits was funny. Overall I really enjoyed reading this story and plan to read more of Larisa's work. - Lysia - Nov-18-2007 This is one of my favourite Larisa stories. I re-read it every so often when I need a laugh. Being a construction worker, the stand to pee is an hysterical bonus. Nonethless a hartwarming tale well worth reading, with a satisfying ending, as per Larisa. - Georgia - Mar-08-2008 One of Larisa's best stories, in my opinion. With her stories, you just know what to expect. Hilarity and Greatness. Her stories are awesome and this is no exception. I'm a huge fan of Creme Brulee's and this one is a particular favorite. This witty take on Disney's Sleeping Beauty is very entertaining and I enjoy it every time I read it. - Avelua - Feb-03-2008 This is simply fantastic! It's everything I love about Brulee's writing. She manages to be witty (sometimes even fall down funny) yet with all that sarcasm, it's still darn sweet. - Liz - Feb-06-2008 What a hoot. Intense and powerful. A Mel and Janice more human than mythical. The writing is excellent. Lexx knows her way around the language. I'm really at the edge of my sofa waiting to read what happens next. More please. - calabria - Mar-11-2009 Excellent! I was there with them - queenofcups - Mar-13-2009 Not for the faint-hearted. Moody. Gripping character twists. A claustrophobic journey into the Covington mindscape. Sit yourself down with a straight Scotch and brace yourself for this one! - Absinthe Angel 777 - Apr-18-2009 What a fantastic piece of writing! Please write more. I don't think I could handle it if you didn't. - geetargrrrl - Apr-22-2009 Wow! Not only is the content gripping, the writing is nearly lyrical. - Anonymous - Apr-25-2009 This story is PHENOMENAL! I've been devouring Mel and Janice fan fiction for years and "Adega" is my absolute favorite. The writing is uncommonly potent and beautiful, the characterizations are remarkably mature and insightful and the highly imaginative, suspenseful plot kept me reading until dawn. Thank you, Lexx23, for creating such a realistic and flattering portrayal of my favorite characters. Your talent takes my breath away and I wish I could assuage my painful cravings for the follow-up novella by sleeping in a statis chamber until the story is available. - xenascrolls - Jun-20-2009 SOOOOO kick butt. A truly enjoyable story, well worth the read. - keelotan - May-28-2009 What the~? Why on earth has there been only ONE recommendation so far for what ended up being the best story I read all month? I know it hasn't been up long, but goshdarnit! I will say that I started out with low expectations - I simply couldn't help it with a title like that. I'm very glad to say that my initial apprehensions were more than completely unfounded; they were blown right out of the water. Eat my words? Hah! Negative perceptions never tasted so good. - Anonymous - Jun-04-2009 awesome story. very well written! - Anonymous - Jun-09-2009 wel i got to say it was a good read. i had me a few doubts, what with the title and all. oh yeah and it was wrote in like 1978, which is way before my time, ok only 9 years, but still. yeah so anyways it was pretty nifty, you all should give it a go. - iheartpickles - Jun-10-2009 **** SPOILER ALERT **** great read! that's why i feel so sad when it ended. ever had that feeling? even though Toni and Cassey will through old age, i still don't like endings no matter how happy it is. haayy.. suddenly feeling melancholic. anyways, READ THIS if you want your mind traveling on the road too. - rec - Jul-30-2009 don't let the title fool you...this is a wonderfully written story! each part is a sweet vignette in the lives of Toni and Cassey.
