Once again I found myself drawn into a new genre by this author/artist. This authors watchword must be "Perfection" because her attention to detail, characterization and continuity shine in this wonderful story. Set in the time when Voyager returns to the Alpha Quadrant this tale tells us what becomes of all of our favorite crew members. This story has it all, action, romance and good dose of humor in all the right places! Im off to find everything else this author has written... - Anonymous - Dec-31-2007 wonderful post-endgame story - Anonymous - Mar-31-2008 One of the best post Endgame stories I have read. Can't believe no-one else has commented on theexcellent TRACE & SHANNON series. (in 4 parts)It's full of lovable characters, fantastic plots,HILARIOUS situations, unforgettable funny lines, some lovin' & a little bit of angst ~ just PERFECT !!!"*****" ~ Please DON'T MISS this little gem. :o) - ubertopia_uk - Feb 14th, 2006 I saw one reader's note that they couldn't believe no one had commented on this series, so I thought I'd give it a try. I couldn't agree more with their praise. I loved these characters, the writing is crisp and witty, the situations are ridiculous and yet somehow real. This series made me sizzle, laugh out loud and worry. It just sucked me right in...and still hasn't let go. What more can I say except READ IT. And JW? I'm waiting for a part 5! :) - Chris - Mar-02-2006 fantastic trilogy, hilarious and romantic to no end! i had a ball reading it, thank you very much :) - Kati - Mar-23-2006 This story was fun from the beginning. Love the way the author talks to the reader. Its a quick fun time and its feel good. Great work. - roamer - Mar-29-2006 definatly a great read had me lauging so hard i was crying you have to read it to understand what i mean by that but i promise its worth the time. and to the author j.w. heart you have one hell of a wicked sense of humor i loved it - taz6644 - Apr-21-2006 There are several authors whose stories I will reread, J.W. Heart is one of them. I truly enjoy the Trace and Shannon series. The characters are so genuine that it would be a pleasure to meet them in real life. This series is so hilarious that a caution should be made not to eat or drink while reading them. Now that I have cleaned up the soda that shot out my nose and coughed up the sunflower seed, I am more than ready to read what will happen next to Trace, Shannon, Dawg, Syd, JT and the rest of the gang. J.W. that was a not so subtle hint. - Sherry - Mar-19-2007 I've never laughed that much reading a story. But "funny" does not begin to describe what this story truly is... Of course, it's hilarious and if you read it, you'll probably laugh the hell out of yourself...like I did. But you'll also think that all of this serie is deeply beautiful and moving. This bard is amazing. I am so gratefull she woke up one day and say "I think I should try to be a literary genius". Cause she made it... - yuka - Jun-18-2009 J.W. Heart is an absolute genius; in her great works she covers all the literary fundamentals an author can hope to achieve. Her stories will definitely have you shedding tears of joy, sorrow and gut-splitting humor. I've attempted to contact her via her email address indicated on her stories, but it comes back as undeliverable, so I'm hopeful that she still sees all of the comments we, her readers, have left in hopes that she will continue the Trace & Shannon series. If you haven't read it, I more than highly recommend it. I've re-read the series 3 times now; a reunion of the characters would be most welcome. If anyone has current contact information please pass along my gratitude for her wonderful talents and my fervent wish that she will continue on the good story (similar to "continue on the good fight"). Thanks - Carolina Girl - Nov-10-2009 I read a lot so I was looking a good story to read and lucky me I found one...J.W Heart is my new writer to keep an eye on...I love every characters, and the way the story flows so easily...I can't stop reading, It was like shearing a good chat with a good friend....I hope this is not the end of de serie....Thank you for a wonderfull time!!!! - Lucian - Mar-26-2010 wonderful start!!! - crv - Apr-01-2010 JW Heart brings a truly unique, witty charm to her story telling. Nice job - sassy123 - Sep-08-2011 This series is really wonderful. The main character / narrator is wry and witty. The author uses a technique where this character pauses periodically to address remarks to the reader as though the reader has commented on the dialogue and action. The effect is one of making a new friend who quickly becomes very close to your heart. Really well done. - XenaLIves - Sep-20-2011 Wonderful. - Dustballs1 - Sep-27-2011 Omg this is so FUNNY IF YOU WON'T A GOOD LAUGH THEN READ THIS . Athough the storyline is a slow burner, I was gripped becuase the dialogue is meaningful and sharp, and there's a lot of good humour. Not only do I love the chemistry between the two main characters, but I also enjoyed that Carolyn has a brilliant realtionship with her brother and they have some genuine laugh out loud moments. Thank you!! - Anonymous - Aug-27-2011 another great story in this series.. there was something off about the time line though.. in the first story the rehab took 9 months, in the second story 6 months and in this one 4 months.. minor detail but slightly confusing.. still a great read with a whodunnit factor that keeps you reading since it isn't obvious from the beginning of the story.. - xtra dog - Oct-11-2012 Wonderful series. Most excellent way to spend a rainy weekend. Enjoyed it and plan to find the author and get the others in the Honor series. - colorado fan - Oct-15-2012 Loved this series. Please! gretch - Anonymous - Oct-03-2008 A highly enjoyable 'alternative' Xena story. Well worth the read. - heather - Nov-27-2008 I re-read this story recently and fell in love with it all over again. One of Aurtelia's early works I believe, and while her story-telling has improved with time this story still shows the raw talent that this woman has. - Anonymous - Feb-17-2009 I really liked this story, especially the historical twist at the end. - Anonymous - Jun-26-2009 A refreshing twist on Xena. I'd recommend it to anyone. - jazz - Sep-19-2009 I LOVE THIS STORY!!! What a great concept! An alternate timeline Xena caught in a situation that the writers would never think of. And yet the author remains true to the character. A 10 out of 10 in my book. - casseyG - Mar-05-2010 Wow! What a great story that was. I am blown away by Aurelia's ability to weave a great tale. Hope we see more of you, Kate. - k alexander - Jun-08-2009 **** Spoiler Alert **** Very well written. The story reads fluidly. This seems to be modeled after the movie "Kill Bill." The main character was abandoned shortly after birth, to a village of monks who exercised a unique form of martial arts. The storytellers cardinal rule is not in effect here. Expletives used intermittently. - Samantha - Jun-09-2009 Thanks to a previous recommendation I gave this a read. I think I'm going to like Kate's writing..I really liked this story. The ending was spot on. - Ramsey - Jun-09-2009 Loved it! The inadvertent pull between the two main characters is very well presented by the author, I was drawn into this story immediately. I usually don't read fan fiction stories set in moderen times but this story was fantastic, I couldn't stop reading it. I hope the authors write more stories. A very vivid story. Hard to read but so well written I had to go on to the end, hoping the author was going to have it all work out. - Anonymous - Jul 4th, 2002 I started this story a bit late at night & despite how tired I was from a long day, I could not stop reading R.D.'s fanfiction. Its quite different compared to the show's Bitter Suite. I definitely went through an emotional roller coaster and felt so rewarded by the end. Very nice job, R.D. Thank you again! ;) - Red Hope - Jun 19th, 2003 An interesting story about the reconcilliation after the rift. Much too onesided for my taste but probably a good read for people who want Gabrielle to suffer. - Anonymous - Feb-23-2007 Powerful and gripping. It depicts two women at the brink of utter self-destruction. One courts madness while the other drowns in hopeless despair. It gets to a point where the GabDrag seems like a sun kissed blessing in comparison to the torment these two put themselves through. Gabrielle in particular is a very harsh mistress to herself. If you like exploring possibilities of the Rift in one of its darker yet ultimately more satisfying incarnations, this is well worth preserving right through to the end. Highly recommended. - Uzu - May-07-2007 This was an amazing story of love, loss, grief and forgiveness. I was riveted throughout this incredible tale. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves Xena and Gabrielle and their love. - Luvyduvy1 - Apr-23-2012 |

Thank you Zee for sharing. - Nancy - May-14-2008 Has the same engery, depth of character, and wicked sense of humor that I've come to expect from one of Zee's stories; combine that with a great story plot and you have a great story! - Jennifer Lee - Jul-13-2008 Zee once again cleverly spins a tale that initially seems so simple - girl meets girl but the love-hate dynamic that she whips out between Jessica, the spoiled big-time LA TV personality forced to work at a small NPR radio station and Sean, the young feisty radio engineer is all that and more. Loved a lot about this story especially some clever phrases like, "Sean's tongue, the apple seducing Jessica out of her garden of self-imposed isolation." Or, "you're right Jess you should start small, like having sex with another person first." Story includes Mama Megan the matriarch that raised five lesbians - typical sibling rivalry between 25-year-old Sean and older sister and station general manager, Gabriel. Kudos to this bard!!! Really good read and over way to quickly. Please, I know it's been a few years, but how about another tale of the Wildeman clan??? PLEASE - toni - Aug-16-2008 This story is just so entertaining. I loved it the first time I read it and I love it this time, too. - purplehawke - Jan-05-2009 Very, very enjoyable little romp! - bookgeek - Apr-17-2010 that was really good. i loved it but god damnit i want more. you cant just leave me hanging here. please write some more about these girls. - pickles - Jun-05-2010 Fun story. Zee always creates characters that jump right off the page. This story is full of great characters and you're drawn into their lives as it unfolds. I really enjoyed reading it. Recommended. - Lyn B - Feb-18-2011 Funny and entertaining story. Loved it. - M.E. - Mar-16-2013 funny story, but i do have one point of criticism ***SPOILER ALERT*** mama megan didn't raise five lesbians.. there is a difference between lesbians and transsexuals.. in this case the transsexual should get the straight stamp.. - xtra dog - Jun-13-2013 I love the Wildeman family and would love to see more of them. I have read this story several times. I enjoy spending time with Sean and Jessica. When's the sequel? - Rebelchelle - Mar-07-2015 |

I don't normally read unfinished stories but have bent that rule a couple of times. I'm glad I did for this one, this is literally laugh-out-loud funny and hopefully a good love story to boot! - Kaye - Jan 4th, 2003 Something I Said is now complete and I have followed this very different story from the start. There is angst, foul words that not only are appropriately written in the story, but at times, hysterically funny. You will both laugh & cry and want to cheer these characters on thru their rough times. The grandpa is a hoot and his cat is---ooh, can't say much & not give away too much. This story is outstanding and it just made me want to know more about Connor and the adjustments she and others have to make. - Anonymous - Oct-21-2009 this a very charming story that will have you in stitches. even though tourrets syndrome is no laughing matter, the author does an exceptional job of giving the reader some insight of what it entails. let's count our blessings. this story has instances of brilliantly paced humor. i've read it several times and each one of them i've had to stop because i was LOL. i strongly recommend it if you want to smile. kudos to denic and please write more!! - vicam - Oct-28-2009 Excellent story!! WOW!! All I can say is SEQUEL PLEASE!!!! - Anonymous - Nov-03-2009 I don't think I have laughed so much at a story since I started reading fan fiction about 7 years ago, my other half just kept looking at me really strangly when I'd just burst out laughing and not be able to stop. I seriously recommend this story if u need cheering up. Very good story indeed. - Luvtigger71 - Nov-13-2009 this story is blindingly funny, syrupy sweet - a joy to read. i agree - read it when you need a pick-me-up or just want to laugh til you cry. - kc - Aug-15-2010 When you cut out all the cuss words, youve got a sweet romance that can put a smile on your face. And if this is just for practise.... whooo And I'd love to read more about the adventures of the harem girls and their mistress :) - lyneX - Aug-03-2011 Whew!!! Smoking hot and very sensual story...All I can say is that I need several very cold showers after reading this story. Well done Amber... I applaud you! - Stacy - Oct-28-2011 HOLLY CRAP! i've read this story a few months ago, just remembering it makes me open the fridge and crawl inside it. is it hot in here or is it just me? ohhh yeah.... is the story... - braniac - Jan-06-2012 Very intellectually stimulating which adds the the physical flame that you create within this story, incredibly well written! Not one to judge, just offering what I 'hope' is constructive criticism but...it can get a little repetitive in terms of almost identical paragraphs, if not paraphrased, at times. One of the best written stories I've read, really got my blood to burn and that's somewhat of a challenge these days. - Omega_Spark - Jan-26-2012 Thoroughly enjoyable! Sizzling hot too! - Georgia - Feb-08-2012 :-D just some practice, uh? Well, Amber rocks! She should add a warning for heart patients. At least, you have to be healthy to read this, since it's physically challenging. And it'll be hard to go on living not having your own private harem. - Parsec - Sep-22-2012 Omg, i read to RELAX! This story did every thing but relax me an incredibly erotic and very well written story. I just finished reading it, and I still have shivers going down my spine. - Ange - Apr-02-2013 I'm half way through reading this and although I am enjoying the story and can't seem to quite put it down, I'm a little put off by the fact that even though everyone assures Dae that she doesn't have to participate in any sexual act she doesn't want to they still continue to ask her to join several times within the same activity. Even though she is curious and wants to learn by observing, they ask her to join. She declines and they make it seem like it is okay she doesn't have too but then again a few minutes later they ask her to join again and again to the point where it seems she was pressured to join even if it wasn't fully. Even though everyone seemed to accept Dae's wishes even if they didn't understand them I felt like they weren't as understanding as they were made to appear because she was constantly being coerced to giving in a little more each time until the pressure was too much. Over all it is well written and I'll continue to read but it was just that element in the story that kept happening too much that bothered me. - Anonymous - Jul-06-2015 Amazing story, a definite must-read! - Ajel - Oct-26-2015 sexy and very hot 10/10 spice index - Anonymous - Jan-25-2016 love sexy and hot - Anonymous - Jan-25-2016 Omg HOT HOT HOT NEED A SHOWER AFTER THIS STORY .this will have you wonting release as you keep reading - Anonymous - Jun-20-2016 1 - 1 - Jun-07-2018 1 - 1 - Jun-07-2018 1 - 1 - Jun-07-2018 1 - 1 - Jun-07-2018 1 - 1 - Jun-07-2018 1 - 1 - Jun-07-2018 1 - 1 - Jun-07-2018 1 - 1 - Jun-07-2018 1 - 1 - Jun-07-2018 1 - 1 - Jun-07-2018 1 - 1 - Jun-07-2018 Hi, Do you want to reach more more and generate more sales with improve website content and sales copy? My favourite of Brigit Morgan's storys. A very sad and haunting story and so beautifully written it's almost like poetry. - Mark - Nov 4th, 2003 Since the series ended I have, along with nearly every XWP fan, been heartbroken by the series chosen ending, killing off Xena, regardless if there were hopes for resurrection in a movie ( who wants to watch a repeat sad ending of our hero?). So much so that I could not read anything but Uber, nor even watch the series in reruns knowing what laid ahead...until someone suggested reading Brigit M. Morgan's Apocalypse stories. I started with To Rest because, in essense, it's emotionally where I left off with XWP. There was not one wasted word in To Rest. It literally placed me next to Gabrielle in her grieving, exactly where so many fans were left after the series ended. What a moving work of art. You certainly understand loss. Thank you for continuing writing right through Apocalypse:Book 2-Inferno. - Anonymous - Feb 20th, 2005 Stark, bared emotions. Very raw. Well written and hits you right in the heart. Fantastic series. - Plif05 - Feb-12-2012 |

One of the best sci-find I have read in long while. - Anonymous - Apr-12-2012 It is a crying shame that this is the story that you chose not to finish. The sci-fi setting and characters are brilliant and I was so drawn into the writing that I could not put it down (reading at lunch and breaks on my cell phone). Not just the story line, Ms Surtees but the characters and setting. What a mind you must have to dream of other worlds and make them work for all our enjoyment. Can't wait for where she takes us next!!Hugz... - Zyan - Nov 19th, 2003 Larisa can spin a tale like NO ONE ELSE!!! "Bumbled Burglary" is yet another example of this bard's prowess, and perfect mix of side-splitting humor and rich romance. Very good work, Larisa! - Elle - Aug 23rd, 2005 As with everything Larisa writes, plenty of humor! This time a couple of inept women attempt to rob a bank and end up with a pair of hostages instead. A very pregnant Jos. and child wary Remi. Turns out Remi grew up in an orphanage and is afraid of I'm not afraid of the kids because of what they can do to me; it's because of what I can't do for them." Pretty touching sentiment, huh? I really enjoyed the story. Rich businesswoman with no life but work meets poor girl very accently, literally. Definately sexual tension. - chanter - Feb 11th, 2004 "Accidental Love" is my favourite uber story of all. I can't really say exactly what it is that makes it so good - it just works from start to finish. To not bore your audience at any point during almost 200 pages worth of story is an accomplishment in itself, but to create something so riveting, so heartwarming that you can't help but be moved to both tears and laughter, is truly amazing. If I had a hat, it would be off for you. You rule!Oh, and don't forget to check out some of Miller's other works, especially "Crystal's Heart". - Wolvie-DK - Apr 26th, 2004 WOW... After reading this story it was actually hard to start reading anything else as I missed the characters so much. B L Miller brings the characters alive and you live with them through their heardships and better times. This story was truly an enjoyable read! - Anonymous - Jul-16-2010 Nooooo!! This was one of my favorite stories to read! Stupid plagiarism! :'( - Anonymous - Jul-18-2010 Yeah seriously! Here I was having my popcorn and soda and then I realize that plagiarism thing pops up. I get that people do steal your work, but give me a break! How the heck can you sit there and smile while you know that you sure as heck didn't write one single thing of the story! It's like cheating yourself. Anyways I never read the story, but I'm sure it's darn good. I'll go buy every book BL Miller wrote then. - Dixie - Oct-19-2010 Oh man! I wish there was more though :( - Helena C. - Aug-18-2009 As always awesome stuff from Vertigo, that you so much for sharing. For the readers- there's a part missing out of this verion. You can find it at Vertigo's website http://www.angelfire.com/tv/Vertigo/RF/RF41.html - I've added a chapter ahead so you know where it fits in. It falls just after New Years Day where Reece and Faith are looking after the new additions that Cori and Violet left with them (Trying not to add any spoilers here). It falls between two sex scenes. Worth reading the missing scenes although you can skip it if you don't mind a bit of confusion- It gets revisited later on in the story. - Fox_feather - Dec-13-2009 Let me tell yaw a secret....I read thys series over and over and over and over again!!Thys is my favorite of the Reece and Faith series!! Living near where the events in Yorkshire occured added a great dimension to an already atmospheric supernatural tale. I loved the character of Kate, a wonderfully brooding uber X! Highly recommended second story from a great new writer. - sapphie - Apr 25th, 2005 Wonderful! A definite must-read! I loved Hearts and Flowers Border but this is so much darker and more intense, I think I may prefer it more. The characters are tantalisingly well-developed (for me, the dark and sultry Kate Thomas is a definite dead-ringer for LL in HOD - yum!). Though there is a supernatural element, it never detracts from the hot and steamy growing passion between Abbie and Kate, so if you're not one for ghost stories don't let it put you off! The ending I think is very well done - not what I was expecting! But I don't think it could have been done any other way. Excellent! Another brilliant story from this new gifted writer - you're not just a one-hit wonder!! From your number one fan xx - Julie - Apr 25th, 2005 Excellent. What a story!!! The plot is believable and the characters are as sexy as hell! I think the ending was my favourite part. Well done Fingersmith!! Please write more! - Sophie - Apr 26th, 2005 In this second offering from Fingersmith, we the very fortunate reader are not let down one bit from the high we were on from Hearts and Flowers Border. Dwelling in the Past is a wonderful story that twists and turns and sometimes leaves your heart in your throat! I thought the writing was incredible....Fingersmith has a gift....a wonderful ability to shape an image perfectly for the readers mind. I personally think she is a master of descriptive writing! I certainly hope she doesn't stop anytime soon! Good on ya Fingersmith!!! - Asgard - Apr 27th, 2005 What can I say that hasn't already been said about Fingersmith and her writing talents? She's an awesome writer and one that I will continue to watch out for in the future. I wish I were writing this good in my second story. lol. Although Dwelling in the Past is so very different from Hearts and Flowers Border, it's just as good. And man, can Fingersmith write a steamy sex scene. ;) So, give this great story a read. You will not be disappointed. - MSAnderson - Apr 27th, 2005 it's a gud story, boring in some parts, just a little long, but over all a funny read - tarvvy - May 3rd, 2005 I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Good plot and characters. I have to disagree with tarrvy - I didn't find any boring bits, and it wasn't long enough. Everything was needed to make a really good read. It was funny and sexy. - Karen - May 4th, 2005 I really loved this story and would recommend it without question. I could not put it down. Wonderful new author! Thanks, Fingersmith. - Summer Sun - May 4th, 2005 I highly recommend this story!! I read 'hearts and flowers border' not long ago and it's a fascinating story!! Now Fingersmith came up with another just as good. Different from her first attempt to fiction this one sounds rather dark and spooky, makes one wonder that with a flick of the wrist your everything can turn to nothing. And even so the characters get drawn to one another by something more powerful, to finally walk out of the dark. Wonderful! Wonderful story! Perfectly written! I totally disagree with tarvvy, it's not boring at all. And it didn't seem long enough either cause when I reached the end I was somehow willing to have more to read. Well done, Fingersmith!! - Jo - May 5th, 2005 wow ! this story is so intense is really deep,,,I wish I can discribe my love life the way fingersmith discribe the love of these two women.....very powerful..so unique . Keep up the good work ....and this story deserves a sequel.... oh yeah!!! - arly - May 10th, 2005 Had to read this after I had read Hearts and Flowers Border. I loved it! Loved it. Scary at times, and kind of dark, but the main characters were excellently described and I felt like I was there. A thoroughly enjoyable read and I would recommend this to anyone. Couldn't put it down. Thank you Fingersmith and keep up the writing! Please! - Jenny - Aug 7th, 2005 What a delight! You've seen the references in previous comments to the "dark" nature of this tale, but for me there were hidden sparkling gems. References to American music, movies and cartoons(Scooby-Doo) with the interspersed English idioms such as "gob smacked" brought a smile to my face time and again! This is one talented author!! What a well-crafted, thghtly-woven story! Thanks yet again, Fingersmith, for sharing your wonderful imagination in such a stellar manner. - Therese - Dec 26th, 2005 Definetly a interesting read .A love story with a bit of spook involved.Read it youll understand.Gotta love Kate and Abbie. The characters are great. - Anonymous - Jan 5th, 2006 What a story! So many emotions in here and it scared the crap out of me at times too. This is so atmospheric and cleverly written. Well done, Fingersmith. Any chance of a sequel? - Vicky - Jan 17th, 2006 What a read! I read Beginnings first and then this. I was not disapponted. What fantastic characters. Makes me remember my teenage years well (ugh). Young love in all its uncertain glory. Priceless. - Nell - Aug-20-2006 OMG! This was an awesome story! Wow! - Anonymous - Sep-28-2006 I remember this story being n1 quite some time ago, but it never received it's little honorary medal. It's an amazing read and the author delivered to us a very original plot, as always. Go, Fingersmith. Fingersmith never does anything halfway :) - Kat - Jun-11-2007 Another fantastic read from a wonderful writer, this is the second Xena uber story from Fingersmith. She has the abillity to place you rigth in the scene and take you along in her story, and make her characters realy real. If ya haven't read any of her story's this is a good place to start. It's scary, humores and well....hot. Ya wont regret it. - Callisto - Feb-07-2008 It's fingersmith's stories that make us keep coming back for more online fiction. Where else would you read a story such as this? Try one of her stories, and I guarantee you'll come begging for another one. - calabria - Feb-08-2008 Good story and characters. Though the best thing about this story is the wonderful way the language is used. Very nice. Embellished without being opulent. - Ape - Feb-15-2008 Great story!!! Lots of hot, hot, scenes. I usually don´t read stories with "ghosts" but... this one changed my mind. - Yavanna - Aug-27-2008 A very intriguing story of passion that outlasts death. This one's Hot. - wasabigirl - Oct-05-2008 Fantastic story and great characters. I love Fingersmith's style of writing sometimes cynical but also hilarious with a mixture of comedy and drama. Just wish it had been longer but still definitely worth a read! - Melikins - Oct-07-2008 Great story...I love the way you write. I wish this could have gone on and on. Very hot/steamy story. - Lea Ann - Feb-26-2009 Great supernatural suspence and intrigue. Fingersmith is particularly good at expressing the love between two characters, whether it be small subtle glances and touches, or full blown steamy action sessions. Be warned, this is hotter than hell. - Sai - Mar-12-2009 Excellent... as always. - yuka - Jun-21-2009 This was an awesome story. It had my heart racing and lodged in my throat because of the suspense and the detailed scenery and the emotions of the characters. (It also didn't help that I finished reading this a 2:30 a.m. I couldn't go to sleep for a long while because I kept seeing some of the images in the story when I closed my eyes) Anyway, excellent story!!!! This author never fails to thrill me. - Nikki T - Jul-24-2009 loved this, thx - 15a - Jul-31-2009 This story is highly recommended. is absolutely wonderful ..... recommend, high quality - Anonymous - Feb-21-2010 Good story, well done there. - Anonymous - May-17-2010 LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And in case I wasn't clear, I love this story. Fingersmith, you are amazing. :) - AC - Nov-29-2011 OMG OMG OMG i loooooooved this story!!! Definitely one of my favorite ubers of all!!! It drove me crazy with suspense and nearly mad with questions. I laughed till i cried, and sometimes cried with sadness and anger. Kate and Abbie's ancestors' stories broke my heart with the injustice and painfulness of it, but the love the two heroines share balances it.... barely. Overall an incredible story and one that won't soon be forgotten, neither characters nor the powerful message. Thank u thank u thank u. (ps the love scenes are epic. DO NOT read some parts of this at work or in public) - Max - Jun-12-2012 Wow! What a wonderfully well written love story. This tale has it all mystery, suspense and eternal love. I tried e-mailing the author directly but had my mail returned. So, I will comment here. Wow! This is an awesome story! I'm glad it's so long because I'm gonna hate to see it end. Thanks for some great reading. - Jenny D. Maher - Sep 21st, 2003 God, I loved this story!! It kept me spellbound. I couldn't get enough and that says a lot considering this series is easily 500 pages long. There is so much emotion and adventure and history in this masterpiece - this epic - I was so captivated. It also had the best romantic angst I have ever read in any Xena story - so much so that I would have to stop reading it for awhile to catch my breath so that I could absorb it, embrace it, have a conversation with myself as to why and how the events that were enfolding before me could be resolved. The romantic challenges that confront Xena and Gabrielle were sometimes really hard to read but it is so well-written, it enhances the plot and keeps you wanting to read more. I can't say enough about this story - but, damn, what an outstanding piece of litertaure! You will not find another Xena story - or uber story - that has such a well-structured and intricate plot or has this kind of superior writing with such strong characterizations and epic romance like this one. Be prepared to sink your heart and soul into this - it will take you away. - Karon Reiter - Jan 23rd, 2005 fantastic series. get your drinks and snacks in beacuse you will not want to move from the screen. The author is a genius. - Elaine - Jan-31-2008 This is an epic tale. If you like "long" stories this is the one for you. A perfect tale for those long winter nights. Great Read. It keeps your attention throughout the entire piece. One of my first reads of XWP fan-fictions, and it was all that one would want in a story. - Anonymous - Dec-15-2007 Excellent story, very gripping. Although a bit gruesome at times, it serves the overall story very well. One of the first X/G fics I ever read, and I continue to have fond memories of it. - Anonymous - Dec-09-2009 What a great and intense story. Loved it. - sassy123 - Nov-30-2010 This was BL Miller's first attempt at Xena Fan Fiction back when Xena was still on TV in the early years and because of that, the plot had not been as formulaic as it became later with Xena and Gabrielle being forced to confront their feelings, a theme that is woven throughout a lot of Xena fan fiction, meaning first time stories, which I love. But because of BL's talent for romantic and passionate story telling, her stories are always very entertaining. Her debut writing style was received quite well as you can see from this riveting story and everyone looked forward to the next story she would write. She has a lot of winning stories under her belt and I recommend them all. The Cabin is an early classic. - kazy - Apr-21-2012 |

The characters in this story are my favorite anywhere! There are so many "perfect" scenes in this story that I cant even begin to list them! A really great read! - Anonymous - Dec-31-2007 Great story - Anonymous - Mar-11-2008 This story is amazing. The characterization in this story is perfect. The slow build up is great. The way that everything is added slowly and becomes slipt is amazing. The original characters are incredible and a great addition to the crew. As well as the blooming relationships. Looking forward to the promised sequel. B'Elanna's relationship is amazing and am looking forward to seeing how her relationship as well as Seven's plays out more. As well as the two women's bloomed friendship. - Megs - Mar-20-2008 [Spoiler Warning] A double treat: Kathryn gets Seven and B'Elanna gets a woman. Well written and enjoyable. - Linda aka cygirl1 - Apr-24-2008 I love this story! I want the sword! I hope we to see more! Will there EVER be a sequel?? - Anonymous - May-03-2008 Simply wonderful! - Anonymous - May-13-2008 A wonderful story full of great scenes and definitely worth reading. - Lynne - May-15-2008 This is A MUST READ. The character's are spot on and it has some the best Love Scene's written IMO. - ceeking - May-15-2008 GREAT first time story... no side plots to muddy the wtaers...just a huge dose of J/7 with some good B'elanna on the side! - Anonymous - Aug-17-2008 Great J/7 fanfic! This whole series is excellent. Mel and Janice are complex and interesting characters and the story manages to be quite romantic without being cheesy at all. - Anonymous - Dec 15th, 2005 The best Mel and Janice writer there is! Funny and affectionately written; the sequel "Coup De Grace" is even better ... - Mszvandelle - May-17-2006 Vivian Darkbloom was the first Mel/Janice fanfic writer i've read, and it is my humble opinion that she is the best Mel/Janice writer out there. Her characters are very belivble and the banter between the two ladies is excellent. I would highly recommend to read this wonderful author. - Callisto - Mar-02-2008 Absolutely loved it...brilliance at it's best. I simply loved how our beloved characters were intertwined with their descendants. Fabulous job makes me wamt more :) - Anonymous - Apr-25-2010 I really love this story.
