I cannot begin to tell you how much I needed that good laugh. - marcia v. - Apr-11-2007

Okay, that one was sweet, funny, but still sweet. It was Valentine's Day after all. But you know what this means, right? Revenge? Hehehehe. Come on! We have to have some Priory/Dylan action. It's just begging for it! One more little story. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee. - kathy - Apr-11-2007

A 'demonic toilet'? I am STILL shaking my head and laughing. Woman, you have a WONDERFUL imagination! I LOVE when Dylan and Priory go at it! The dialog is hilarious. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE WHOLE SERIES, IN FACT, I RECOMMEND YOU READ IT TWICE SO YOU DON'T MISS ANY OF THOSE ONE LINERS! Thank YOU for sharing. A 'demonic toliet'? I am STILL shaking my head and laughing. Woman, you have a WONDERFUL imagination! I LOVE when Dylan and Priory go at it! The dialog is hilarious. - LTJ - Apr-15-2007

This whole series has shown us the depths of Aurelia's talents. Truly enjoyed and truly appreciated. - A.C. Henley - Apr-16-2007

Can you get too many of these things? Oh well, here's another one.
I gotta tell ya, I have read thousands of these tales. And I mean thousands. I have smiled. I have chuckled a bit. But I have only laughed out loud to one writer. (Okay, it was Larisa.) I'm a tough sell. But I laughed out loud to this series. Several times. The one-liners are priceless. There is just so much more hell to be raised by this foursome that you realize you must toss us another one once in a while.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT EVERYONE READS THIS SERIES AND EMAILS THIS POOR WOMAN TO PLEASE WRITE US MORE. God knows, we could use the laughs. - Anonymous - Apr-18-2007

Fantastic, an incredibly entertaining read. Like the characters you go from lauging, to sadness, to a feeling of fondness and onto frustration. Dylan is an incredibly endearing character, you don't know wether to slap her or hug her. Cheers! - Ange - Dec-05-2011

A highly original story that is guaranteed to bring a smile to anyone who reads it. I haven't said it before, but thanks Aurelia for all your stories that brighten up my otherwise dreary day. - Anonymous - Nov-28-2008

Another great story from one of my favorite authors. Aurelia has the knack of looking outside the box with her stories and each one is a jem. A lot of writers take the 'safe' road when writing but she dares to be different. great work! - Anonymous - Dec-03-2008

A MUST READ! This delightful tale is full of love, despair and most of all sneakiness. I only wish that I'm as feisty as the old Amazons when I reach their age. Still, it gives us all hope that old age can be an adventure too. Thanks! - Anonymous - Dec-07-2008

Another great story! Well worth a read. - Anonymous - Mar-06-2009

lol! - Anonymous - Jun-12-2009

Kidnapped and fearing for her life, her luck changes with the appearance of a mysterious stranger, a samurai, who rescues her from her capture. A well crafted and beautiful story that's a feast for the eye to imagine and the mind to see. Where has this author been hiding? - Kaye - Nov 22nd, 2005

SIMPLY ELEGANT! Perfect in it's imagery. Bold AND subtle, just like the Japanese culture. A beautiful story of love, in a period torn by political violence and enormous cultural change. An unusual joining that was perfectly balanced. Light and dark. East and West. Yin and Yang. Beautiful. (Off to read the rest of her stuff!) - Evelyn - Nov 22nd, 2005

Very well thought out story. I Love the cultural education I got while reading this. Amazing story, creating vivid images of what love and honour is truly all about. This is a keeper fer sure ! ! - Kelly - Dec 19th, 2005

What a find! Very nice. Very nice indeed. Good to read something with substance. Well done. - Leona D. - Apr-05-2006

What a wonderful story. Very touching and erotic. - Anonymous - May-28-2008

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome. Stories like this one are unique and highly enjoyable. - xenamari - Jun-01-2008

WOW!!!What a gem. Fantastic story that well deserves a 10 rating. I know it has been awhile since this was posted, but, a sequel would be much appreciated. - cygirl1 - Jun-01-2008

Outstanding story. Love the plot. I too would like to see more of this story. For instance, how did Estuko come to live in Japan and become a samuri? Also, when I first started reading this story this morning, it was rated a 10 and when I finished to go and give my rating, it had dropped to a 9.36. Strange, very strange. I gave it a 10, which it well deserves. - Anonymous - Jun-01-2008

If there is only one story you read this year, this is it. When can we expect a sequel? Etsuko still has so much to tell. Great job! - jazz - Jul-23-2008

Simply beautiful. - Anonymous - Jul-29-2008

Such a wonderfully sweet story The imagery is so rich that you can nearly smell the cherry blossoms. Expanded it would be a terrific book - Anonymous - Aug-04-2008

Such a great story. It begs for more. Please! - Anonymous - Aug-18-2008

A beautifully crafted story that begs for more. - Anonymous - Aug-19-2008

A MUST READ!!!!! - Anonymous - Aug-25-2008

This is such a great story but it needs more. Will we ever find out what happens to these star-crossed innocents? Will Etsuko go to England or will Clarissa stay in Japan? Goddess! What a place to end!
- jo - Sep-15-2008

This story was so beautiful. Please continue it. - Barb - Sep-16-2008

Such a touching story. I loved the setting. It's so unusual and yet it seemed to balance out the sweetness of the two women. Will we ever see more of these two lost souls? Very well done, Aurelia. - jane - Oct-05-2008

A beautifully crafted tale that is screaming out for more. - Anonymous - Oct-27-2008

This was so sweet I nearly cried. - jo - Nov-27-2008

A beautifully crafted tale of forbidden love that crosses alll boundaries of class, culture and propriety. The writer has effectively captured the clash of culture and turmoil that reigned in Nineteenth century Japan. Excellent job. - Anonymous - Dec-03-2008

Painfully beautiful.
One of her very best. - Anonymous - Jan-20-2009

Beautiful story. Exotic location, adventure, action, and tender love scenes. I would love to see a follow up story to this. This is a 10 in my book. - Cam - Jan-22-2009

So much rich imagery and emotion packed into this short story. Your characters jumped off the page. This one begs for a sequel. - Margo - Mar-02-2009

A refreshingly original tale that really captured my imagination. I loved it!!!! I would love to see a continuation of this story. You have us believing in these characters and giving us a real need to know what happened to them. - Anonymous - Apr-18-2009

**** Spoiler Alert **** Well, they certainly fell in love quickly... Cool concept, but could have been developed a little more. - CJ - Jun-07-2009

A delightful tale. Well worth the couple of hours. I give it a 10! - jac - Aug-27-2009

Simply stunning! - gaz - Sep-08-2009

Great writing! Fast-paced and riveting story. A must read, love it! - Luie - Oct-09-2009

I haven't read this story in a while, so took the time to re-read it. No wonder I remember it fondly. It's a real gem of a story with a most unusual setting. Read it!! - Anonymous - May-20-2010

This is an amazing story full of contradictions! A innocent love story set in a land in complete turmoil. Where East meets West in explosive intensity and yet somehow love blossoms in the midst of it all. I love the choice of setting and time, when Victorian sensibilities clash with Japanese feudalism. If you're looking for something a little different, this is it. Don't miss it! - denniek - May-23-2010

This is such a great premise. The time, the culture and the sense of ultimate honor. Wow!! A delightful story that you should read. - kathb - Jun-07-2010

I've read this story because in a few days I'll be in Japan on holidays. Now I'll be daydreaming about a samurai appearing around the corner!!. Well, I'll be with my partner, so Already have my own samurai
Seriously, quite good story - Rouge - Jul-12-2010

What a wonderful story.I like the way it's written and how easily it draws you into the characters lives. It is a good journey. - uber goober - Aug-08-2010

A very well done story. A great job writing it - sassy123 - Sep-15-2010

A breathtaking story. If you don't read this then you're missing out on something special. - marciev - Apr-27-2011

pity this story wasn't written in first person.. kinda liked being in j's head.. nice series.. - Anonymous - May-18-2011

A central theme in all of the alt Xena/Gabrielle ubers is that they are soulmates who, in each incarnation, feel instantaneously, inexplicably drawn to each other, compelled by a force that is profound and extraordinary. This story makes excellent use of this theme to craft tightly woven tale that would make an excellent foundation for a series. Hope the author decides to expand on this little gem. - XenaLives - Sep-18-2011

Very well written story. The pacing and phrasing are perfect for the period and location. Romantic and fast paced, it's definitely worth a read:-) - Lyn B - Sep-27-2011

A surprisingly good twist on how Xena came by the Chakram - kelley22 - Aug-04-2008

A refreshing insight into the legend - Wax - Aug-18-2008

It's nice to see 'what ifs' for Xena. How would her character survive if her circumstances changed? And I'm talking besides Conqueror. I love the both Xena and the Conqueror but I LOVE the character even more. She has so many limitless possibilities because she is so complex and fallible. Well done! - Anonymous - Sep-15-2008

I am highly impressed with Aurelia's talents and abilities to tale a great tale. I thouroughly enjoyed this story, and so far all of her other tales that I have read. I enjoyed this story so much that I would actually love to see this series continued on. - uber goober - Aug-14-2010

In the final installment of "The Chronicles of Ratha," Jordana is faced with an impossible task... kill or be killed. Vel has left J no choice but to confront the woman who is intent on destroying the Noorthi. But leaving Heaven is proving harder than she ever thought possible.
I loved the main character in this, I'm so grateful the author was able to continue this series to it's conclusion. Although we didn't get any closure on Bessie... :(. I think the true love story here was Jordana/Bessie :D - Anonymous - May-19-2010

The title says it all!! A wonderful series that ended with a bang! I hope that the author will one day continue the story as I'd like to know how Jordana handled the change in lifestyle. If you haven't read this yet, now that it's finished you have no excuses!!!!!!!! 10 out of 10 - majic - May-20-2010

Seeing the series being concluded I had to reread all of the other books first. Thank you Aurelia for this great ride. It is wonderful that it will published as a novel. - rleef - May-20-2010

I have to say that I had a few misgivings when I saw the title of this series, but it turns out I was totally wrong. Fantastic plots, very well developed variety of characters with realistic interplay among them, and just a plain good story. Any chance of a 6th book?? - celts - May-21-2010

Now that the series is finished, the ending has been worth the wait. It has been a story of opposites - humor and drama, angst and joy, life and death. I certainly hope this isn't the end for J and her ladies. A job well done! If you haven't read any of the books yet, I suggest that you begin at the beginning because, believe me, you don't want to miss one single word of it. - clarejessie - May-23-2010

This series has been quite a revelation! Please put me out of my misery and post the next part. I'm begging you here! - blairj - May-04-2010

This series had it all. I was surprised by the humor of the characters as sci-fi is not generally known for its rather blaze look on life. A wonderful story told by an equally wonderful storyteller. One to be added to the "must keep" file. - Anonymous - May-26-2010

This whole series has turned out to be one big adventure. This talented author does it again. Highly recommended. - gracie - Jun-11-2010

Very gritty, and lots of fun. I can't wait for more in the series! - Anonymous - Sep-03-2008

This is a breath of fresh air. I find that science fiction, by its very nature, is 'de-humanizing', so to find a sci-fi story that manages to hold onto its 'humanity'is exciting. It's well worth a read even for those who don't particularly like science fiction. So GO READ IT!!!! - sheaz - Sep-08-2008

It's like the old-time RKO serials where you can't wait for the next installment. It will be soon, right? - Anonymous - Sep-23-2008

I LOVE this story! Is Book 2 coming out anytime soon? I can't wait!!!! - deb - Jan-19-2009

I'm not one for sci-fi but this tale is excellent, injecting a 'common' touch to the story-telling and making it reader-friendly for ALL tastes. DON"T MISS THIS ONE. - Anonymous - Feb-13-2009

This was very good and wondered if Book 2 has come out yet. - Anonymous - Mar-06-2009

Highly recommended... both book on and book 2 in this series are fantastic. I cared a lot about the main character, she kind of reminded me of Han Solo, you know a bit rough around the edges but caring... after a while. Great sense of humour though out... well done Aurelia... I can't wait for more. - dragon_grrl - Apr-23-2009

Absolutely loved this series so far and can't wait for more. Just enough insight into this world to beable to emerse yourself but not so much that you get bogged down in them. Well pased stories that are building up to the final confrontation. I would recommend to any one. Well done bard, well done! - Anonymous - Feb-25-2010

I found this one started off a little slow, but it definitely picked up speed and my interest as it went along. There certainly are some unexpected twists and turns in this one and I'm looking forward to reading more and seeing where it's going to eventually end up. - uber goober - Aug-17-2010

A fast-paced, riveting story that is becoming more and more intriguing with every book. And yet the author doesn't miss out on the detail and emotion of the human interaction between the characters. Great story, great characterization and heaps of action. - Anonymous - Nov-07-2009

Book 2 picks up where Book 1 finishes. Jordana's life becomes decidedly more complicated when she suddenly finds herself caretaker for one hundred celibate women. As far as she is concerned, she has jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire. Now all she wants to do is to find somewhere to drop them off before she returns to her life of debauchery. She should be careful what she wishes for...
Another great installment, but we've got a ways to go before the end. Good stuff. - Arassar - Mar-16-2009

This story is becoming more and more intriguing by the minute. I love it!!! - jo - Mar-17-2009

Sensational! Jordana is such an amazing character and I just love it when those women put her through hell. There are a lot of great one-liners in both this story and Book 1. I would recommend it to anyone. ENJOY!!! - amie - Mar-19-2009

Another great tale from a truly talented author. I love all the characters in this one and look forward to seeing more of them. In fact, you can't go wrong reading any one of Aurelia's stories. Take my word for it. READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - jean - Mar-19-2009

I just love these stories and cannot wait for intstallment 3. Please, please give us another one real soon. Im begging here! - RCP - Apr-15-2009

The series gets better and better. I am really intrigued by the character interactions; there is always a twist. These ladies just miss understanding each other by millimeters, but it seems like miles. Through it all is a growing respect for one another. I'm just loving it. Wonderful texture in the story telling. - wasabigrrl - Sep-11-2009

Aurelia, you have caused me many a sleepless night, but this one has kept me up all night! While I'm not found of science fiction, I love the fact that despite being set in outer space, it doesn't have the feel of science fiction. It's more a rollercoaster ride of an adventure wrapped up in space dust. I highly recommend this one to everybody. - jaq - May-20-2010

Wow! That was a great tale and the plot is definitely thickening. I can't wait to read the rest of the series. - uber goober - Aug-18-2010

A very clever story. Well worth a read. - Anonymous - Sep-12-2009

Great story. Well worth a read. - jaqi - Oct-07-2009

This is one of those tales that goes bump in the night. A story where one is tempted to look over one's shoulder at the sound of every scrape and shudder. I've never taken the opportunity to thank this author for her diversified range of stories. She has a way, in a few well chosen words, of putting the reader into any world she wishes to make. Thank you, Aurelia. - xenastarved - Nov-29-2009

A good story but it felt like it was just the beginning to what should be a longer tale. Still it was worth taking the time to read. - uber goober - Aug-28-2010

A nice story. I think it would have been better if it had been longer. There a little bit of everything in it; grief, drama, tension and the hint of romance and new beginnings. Worth a read. - Lyn B - May-09-2011

Destined To Be by Aurelia

Part 7 of the Priory/Jacey and Dylan/Rhea Series
Series List: Do-It-Yourself Guide to Bathroom Fixtures, Non-Corporeal Manifestations and You (The), Paramilitary Handbook to Table Dancing and Surveillance Countermeasures in Detecting Threats With Proper Bathroom Etiquette (The), All You Ever Wanted to Know About Bathroom Bogeys, Suspect Seafood and Valentine Dreams....But Were Afraid to Ask*, Halloween Hunter's Guide to Trick-or-Treating Tots, Ambling Apparitions And Porta-Potties (The), Homemaker's Journal Featuring Articles on Pruning The Family Tree, Getting Rid Of Unwanted Cat Hair And Fixing Leaking Lavatories (The), How To Go From A Medium To An Extra-Small Without Losing The Family Jewels, Destined To Be, Flushed With Success: One Woman's Story of Hell and The Bathroom
The seventh story in the Priory/Dylan Ghost stories series. This tale is a prequel to the series, telling the story of how Dylan met Rhea. It was a time of great turmoil in 1935. The Great Depression had just ended and the ramifications of it were still being felt. Jobs were hard to get, for women even more so. One woman was so desperate for a job that she would become a man to get it. Little did she know what it would cost her to win it.
I thoroughly enjoyed this. Aurelia sets the mood so well I swore I could feel myself in the story. Even if it wasn't a Priory/Dylan story, it stands very well on its own. Another 10 out of 10 on this one. - beckieT - Jul-31-2010

Another terrific story from a great bard. Lots of atmosphere, lots of intrigue and lots of humor that is so much Dylan. Please continue this series. - Anonymous - Aug-01-2010

Considering we all knew how this was going to end even before reading the first line, it's a very touching story about how circumstances push two people together to a conclusion that was already written. A wonderful story by an equally wonderful storyteller. Bravo! - jaq - Aug-07-2010

There doesn't seem to be any time period or situation that this bard can't write about. Each and every one is believable and highly entertaining. I love this one because it belongs to my favourite series. Let's hope we see more of Dylan and Priory soon. Thank you. - Anonymous - Aug-13-2010

Excellent story. - Anonymous - Aug-21-2010

A must read, as is the rest of the series. Whilst this particular story has a lot of angst, the series is a joy to read. Guaranteed to make you laugh. - cassie - Sep-01-2010

Once again Aurelia writes an entertaining tale that draws you in and leaves you thinking about it when your done. That was a great story. I liked the choice of the different endings that allows the reader to decided how they want it to end. - uber goober - Sep-07-2010

i don't like prequels in general.. since you know before reading how it's going to end.. so the alternative ending was a bit of a surprise in this one.. the downside is that it makes the rest of the series less believable.. nevertheless, i enjoyed the series very much.. especially the humor of it had me hooked.. - Anonymous - May-15-2011

Corporate executive Priory McAllister had finally bought her dream house, or so she thought. A turn-of-the-century manor house, it had stood unoccupied for many years after passing through a succession of owners. Assisted by her under-appreciated secretary, Jacey Ryder, Priory moves in amid creaking boards, squealing pipes and Halloween preparations. Was the place haunted or just a feeble trick of her imagination?
Great light-hearted story. - jd - Mar-18-2007

Did you say SEQUELS? The thing, you know "the thing" with the toilet and the chicken....trying not to spoil it here. But, my God. That was damn funny. What was even funnier is that I could see myself under the same circumstances doing the same things. The insane things rational ordinary people do when faced with irrational extraordinary situations! THANK YOU! It was delightful! Hopefully you can squeeze another one of these little treasures out of that creative little mind of yours. I will be looking forward to it! - cj - Mar-22-2007

This tale is worth the read simply for the chance to see Xena and Gabrielle as kids during a modern Halloween. Aurelia manages to capture the beautiful, heartwarming and soul infused essence that is the relationship between Xena and Gabrielle. Seeing a 7 year old Xena protect and Love a young Gabrielle brought a tear of happiness to my eye.

Add then the rest of the tale and it's worth a 10 in my book. - Laziel - Feb-26-2011

Oh God, Aurelia you jem you, Fantastic again you've made my year not just my day with this slice of joy. - Pippinfluff - Oct-07-2008

This is priceless! Aurelia, how do you keep coming up with these stories? They say that laughter is the best medicine. You should bottle whatever it is you have and slap a label on it. I'd certainly buy one! - ami - Oct-07-2008

I just discovered this series with the impossibly long names. These are dangerous! I nearly snorted coffee all over my keyboard! Kudos to the author for such a delightfully entertaining series. - jacks - Oct-07-2008

This series is absolutely priceless! ROFLOL - Anonymous - Oct-14-2008

Priory and Dylan always remind me of me and my sister when we were young. Funny, I don't remember us bickering THAT much. This author has skilfully captured the typical teenage family where sisters don't get on and the mother figure has to be the referee. It's a walk down memory lane full of sisterly love and home-grown catastrophes. Long may Priory and Dylan reign!!! Excellent work. - jamie - Oct-28-2008

Another great story in a great series. Thanks. I needed a smile today and you delivered. - alex - Nov-25-2008

I liked reading the series alot. It's pretty good stuff. - uber goober - Aug-08-2010

Leading an army through Greece had earned Xena many enemies. She was being watched. She felt it. But little did Xena know that this one observer was more dangerous to her than all the legions of armies awaiting the arrival of the conqueror of Greece.
This writer always surprises me. She is always giving us something a little different than the last story and somehow they are all winners. Thank you. - cc - Jun-21-2007

A delicious quirky little PWP. Nice time out read. Very enjoyable. Love this writer. - msprism - Jun-26-2007

It was REAL nice to see some Xena! Thanks! By the way, I love ALL of your work! - jjones - Jul-05-2007

I love anything with the Conqueror. Great writing. I look forward to them meeting again. I read Avenging Angel quite some time ago, and it has stayed with me as well-written. Also enjoyed Reflected Passion, and Twice Reflected, some time ago. Forgive me for not saying, sooner, how much pleasure all gave me. And they are ALL memorable compared to many stories out there. I have avoided the long-titled stories, but I guess I better get with it. Thanks author for the best of reading. - Anonymous - Jul-08-2007

I read this because it was a Conqueror piece (I was missing Xena)before I really noticed who wrote it. Good Goddess woman! Is there anything you CAN'T write!? Okay, NOW I need more of THIS story, AND more of the Reflected stuff AND more of our little Ghost Buddies AND I am not going to sign this so you can't track me down. Big smile and lots of love! You're super! - Anonymous - Jul-13-2007

Okay, I can't decide which one of these was the funniest. These are as cute as they can be. And I am excited that Halloween and Christmas are only two of MANY holidays. Hint. Hint. I hope you enjoyed writing them as much as I enjoyed reading them. Great fun! - KT - Apr-02-2007

Being a New York City detective had been a family tradition that she had willingly supported and, as 'Mickey's Girl's, she had been exceedingly good at. Andrea Worthington had moved from her native Charleston to New York City to take up the position of Assistant District Attorney, much to the derision of her family. Their first meeting was like two freight trains crashing head on. Now a high profile murder case has thrown them together and they must find common ground if they are to work together. When I first read the first story in this series a while ago I had a feeling that it was going to be something special. Now three years on the tale has reached its end. The wait was well worth it. It's a grand tale that has crossed many boundaries to show us that love can truly conquer all. - Anonymous - Sep-08-2008

I was heartbroken to read that this series has ended. Any chance of throwing us a crumb or two in a short story or two about Dale and Francoise? Maybe a Christmas or Valentine's vignette?? Plleaasseee???? - daletoo - Oct-07-2008

It was a shame the author finished the series where she did. There were so many questions that could have been answered and limitless opportunities to explore. Maybe some encouragement would help Aurelia to write another tale with these two heroines. let's hope so. - Anonymous - Feb-13-2009

This shouldn't be the last story, another sequel please ? - Josje - Jul-20-2010

You feel the characters anguish on a personal level. You can feel the attraction and pull. The author does an amazing job of recreating the times for the feel of the story and gives you the integral information needed for you to feel comfortable in it. YOU MUST read all 3 of these stories. - XNU - Apr-27-2009

Aurelia never ceases to amaze me with her talent and imagination. She always delivers a thoroughly engaging and entertaining tale that you just wish could go on forever.Thank you so much Aurelia for sharing you wonderful talent with those of us readers who consider themselves your fans. - uber goober - Sep-16-2010

I have been held captive by this on-going story of adventure, love, and passion since I began the first part. With part two, my beloved classical music was playing in the background while I eagerly read the lines. It was glorious ! Total perfection - the music increased the intensity of the story, and my god, I was instantly transported there myself. I was deeply affected when the Passacaglia from Suite 7 in G Minor by George Frideric Handel (Conducted by Vladimir A. Rylov) filled the air. The love and passion between these two women was living and palpable and completely enveloped me. Now that is what I call feeling a story !! And now on to part 3 I go. Sigh .... - Thothgirl - Jun-23-2011

Undaunted Heart (The) by Aurelia
Conqueror | Ancient | Alternative | Drama | Novella - 69 pages | Finished | Feb-09
Honors/Awards:  #82 in 2009     Top-25 #1.
Part 2 of the Dangerous Game Series
Series List: Most Dangerous Game Of All (The), Undaunted Heart (The), Bird In The Hand (A)
A sequel to 'The Most Dangerous Game of All,' the story picks up a couple of months later as Xena's march across Greece is halted when she has the urge to visit Amphipolis. She expects a frosty reception from her mother but to her surprise Gabrielle is there also. That could mean only one thing - Trouble.
I certainly hope part 2 is not the final part of this series. I hope to read more of this Conqueror and her occasional visitor. - Anonymous - Feb-21-2009

It's good to see Aurelia writing a Xena story again. As usual she delivers a fine story with all the hallmarks of the two characters we all love. Of course, no Aurelia story is complete without a twist or two in the plot, which only makes this tale more engaging. I hope this isn't the last we see of this series. YOU MUST READ IT!!!!! - jo - Feb-21-2009

this can't be the end of it. it's not right? pleeeeeease tell me that it's not! :| - Anonymous - Feb-22-2009

Great story - Anonymous - Feb-24-2009

Very well done story. I have been looking for some fan fic with a more interesting alternative storyline and this definately satifies. It's one of the best conqueror-esque storylines out there that depict Gabrielle in such a rugged role. - Jenna - Mar-01-2009

A story with all the hallmarks of a Xena episode - fights, intrigue, maintext and suspense. I thoroughly recommend it - Anonymous - Mar-06-2009

An exciting tale that manages to find another angle on the Xena legend. Just when we thought there was nothing more that could be explored.... An excellent story that I hope will continue soon. - Anonymous - Mar-07-2009

A well thought out adventure at a time in Xena's life that is little explored. With lots of suspense and plenty of fighting, it's a tribute to one of the most enduring fictional female characters of our generation. A good read. - Anonymous - Mar-31-2009

A very clever story. Do yourself a favor and read this! - Anonymous - Apr-15-2009

Great Xena story with good intrigue and imagery. I could see the action as it was written. A MUST READ. - xenafan - Aug-01-2009

Great story series. Read the first one so you won't be lost. Very interesting take on the characters - just before becoming the Conqueror. I hope we will see more of these characters - definitely does not feel "finished".

I loved these conqueror tales but I agree that it seems unfinished. There needs to be another tale to wrap up X&G's relationship. I've read all of Aurelia's works on this page, with the exception of Possessing Morgan which had unfortunely been removed at the author request, and I have been thouroughly impressed with her skill and talent at being able to craft rich and entertaining stories that are capable of drawing you into the characters world. I highly recommend reading all of this authors works and would like to say thank you to Aurelia for sharing her talent and vision with all of us. - uber goober - Sep-24-2010

"The Undaunted Heart" is certainly not the finish. I had intended to write another tale. I have a story idea but it's a matter of finding the time to write it. I will endeavour to to continue this, and the Priory/Jacey stories, soon.
