A bittersweet tale told through the bard's journal entries. When Xena is summoned by a town in need of help, she leaves Gabrielle behind with the promise that she will return. After many days pass, the increasingly despondent bard starts to wonder if maybe the Warrior Princess had decided not to return after all. Takes place immediately before the episode "Forget Me Not."
