A great and happy ending would include Mac finding out for sure with proof that Jess didn't actually ever cheat on her, and for them to be reunited forever. Spoiler alert! The problem is that the environment where Jess was tempted still exists. There's never an excuse why someone turns to cheating; it's good to look at how, but it will not lead to the why. It messes with forever because when we give love it can mean a lifetime, but when you give your heart, it's forever. When a spouse cheats, they shake the foundation of forever. Thank you, Boudica X, this is such an important story and your insight carries healing.
