Excellent! I was so crushed that it was over. Great story, moving characters and one red hot love scene. More..more..more.. - Califa - Jul 30th, 2004

Great story. I really hope that you write a sequel! - fan - Aug 4th, 2004

I have to say this is truly an endering story. Really opens your eyes to the everyday challenges of loving and caring for a child with a life threatening illness. The development of the relationship between Crystal and Lauren moved along at a pace that was realistic and didn't feel rushed and phoney, as they so often can in a short story. I had many a chuckle over the comments to the cat "Ram" and the humour has just the right flavour throughout! Thankfully there was not TOO much "inner monologue" that often takes away from the main body of the story. The story's perspective, written from the kids point of view, speaks volumes about how the author relates to kids. Over all a GREAT story and an eye opening subject, also perfectly paced for a really enjoyable read. This one is not to be missed. I'm just crossing my fingers that there will be a sequel. ;) - Skeeter - Aug 4th, 2004

I've read this author's other works and while those are good, this is GREAT! She doesn't rush the plot and allows the readers and the characters to slowly and irrevocably fall in love. - Ursula - Dec-20-2007

Beautiful well written story that definately needs a sequel! - Xenangabfan - Mar-16-2008

Wow! This story deals with a pretty tough subject, I was afraid it might be hard to read. But this Bard managed to tell a story that talks courage. I admire, respect highly courage. The ending was fabuous. It made me cry actually. It wasn't sad. It was just pawerfull in it's own way and deeply beautiful. - yuka - Dec-21-2010

This is a wonderful story. It is a bit different from the author's other work but is very nicely done. It has humor, heartbreak and a special guest star, God. And she is a hoot. - jh - Sep 7th, 2005
