Without giving anything away, just let me say, this is one of the best classic Xena stories out there along with so many others that Ella has written. I recommend all of her work. She's quite amazing. I wish she was still writing. We can use more classic Xena stories. This place has been overrun with too many ubers - some of which you can't even recognize as Xena and Gabrielle. They should be in the original fiction section as they seem to have nothing to do with the dynamic of Xena and Gabrielle. | This was a great story. One you won't find anywhere else - I don't think. Most stories are about encountering someone from Xena's past that pose a threat to Gabrielle - not this time. This story is about someone from Gabrielle's past. And because of that, I found it to be quite unique and intriguing. But then again, I find all of Ella Quince's works to be phenomenal. Considered to be one of the best bards in the Xenaverse - if not THE best bard. Check out all her work.
