Xena's internal demons drive her into the forest and away from Gabrielle.
This story was amazing. It hurt to read it. It was so well written that I could feel Xena's pain - so utterly incapacitating. She was so lost and emotionally trapped by her own demons that she could only run from it rather than affect a change. This was such a good story. One of the best. - Karon Reiter - Jan 16th, 2005

Wow! Beautifully poetic. The author does a good job of allowing the story to build. - lb - Jan-16-2008
