Original / Uber | Modern | Alternative | Drama | Short Story - 31 pages | Finished | Jan-05
Cast: Mark, Ron, Elizabeth, Fool
The quest for true love is filled with pitfalls and hidden dangers. Tired of the journey and alone on an empty beach, Kara Pavlovich was on the verge of ending it all when Faith jogged into her life. This is their story.
Who wouldn't get sucked in by a title like "A Fool For Love"? Something most of us have been thru and I can't think of anything better to be a fool for. And this short story does it well. From a rocky start of despair to a trip thru more foolishness. A warm, loving relationship almost destroyed by doubts and fears. Read this yourself to discover their fate. You won't be sorry. Kara & Faith are characters you willenjoy watching as they tuck you into layers of their story. - casey - Jan 28th, 2005

Fool for love is a wonderful story that I think most people can identify with. The reader is taken on a journey of the heart. We get an inside look into Kara's heart, mind and soul. There are times when you want to shake her and say " grow up". And that's why this story touched me because it is a journey for this character. And it's not an easy one, but if you believe in fairy tales, this is the story for you. - Philosopher Poet - Jan 29th, 2005

That was a great short story. The author is good at taking you on an emotional rollercoaster ride right along with the characters. - uber goober - Oct-02-2012

Werewolves, Warriors and Bards, Oh My! by Erin Jennifer
Xena | Alternative | Vignette | Very Short Story - 3 pages | Finished | Oct-05
This is a "hair-raising" tale in which Gabrielle wonders if the warrior princess is about to start howling at the moon herself.
Do you miss XWP and all that great provacative dialogue betweeen X & G? Well, read this and see if Girls Just Want To Have Fun & A Day in the Life eps don't come to mind. The spooky fangs,a wildly imaginative Gabby, sheep to eat or count, but no Dracula, Xena's eye rolling, and fending off a shadowy wolf, & her rabbit skinning skills. The funny double entendre humor springs forth in this cleverly written, suggestive short tale capturing X & G at their best. You can tell this bard knew & loved these characters. This is an excellent trip back to the early funny & lighter sides of X & G. A hint of Halloween here, so treat yourself & enjoy this little bit of mind candy! - Casey - Oct 27th, 2005

That was short and sweet and very amusing. - uber goober - Oct-02-2012
