| There is nothing ordinary about this story, in fact it's damn near brilliant in it's simplicity. This bard has a knack for description that puts you in the moment. It's refreshing to read a passage that uses 'ordinary' words wisely and doesn't tread over the reader's sensibilites with unnecessary adjectives. I am not one to 'beg for a sequel' as I do not see a sequel in every story. | I thought Slow Rise was a great story. I enjoyed the characters. It was especially interesting to note that they were best friends from Kindergarten and still were not as in tune with each other's feelings as they should have been. - Pjay - Dec 3rd, 2004 Very well written story.
