I read this story in one sitting. The characters just hooked me so that even tired I didn't put it down until I finished. For some reason I get the impression that some of the author is in the Ginny character and that may be why she was so real and natural to me.I think many of us have had to come to ourselves slowly and with a bit of subconscious prodding and Ms Hill really did capture that dilemma in Ginny. Then of course Kara too has a very real and natural emotional response to the situation and the entire story just flows and is compelling.I was especially pleased with the way the art was so beautifully described. I too can see the color in GinnyÆs Lake. - jen - Dec 20th, 2002

Highly recommended. Liked the charaters, and the pace at which the story progressed. - Anonymous - Jan 7th, 2004

Emotional roller coaster with HOT lovemaking scenes - a 10 out of 10 - Anonymous - Apr-05-2012

That was a wonderfully romantic story of two lonely souls finding love and each other. Great tale extremely well written. Highly recommend reading it.
- ubergoober - Mar-14-2014

A wonderfully romantic tale! Very worth your while to read. Well written. Quite delightfully set in the Pacific Northwest - Seattle area nicely represented. I agree with other readers - more, more, more please! - Georgia - May-14-2014

I enjoy Gerry Hill's writing but this story has a graphic m/f intimate seen and worse it comes at the heals of having been intimate with the other female main character. I could never see the two women romantically involved again. The romance was no longer believable.

My favorite Gerri Hill story is The Cottage. - Samantha - Jun-28-2014

Right away I have to say that Tess and Dana are sorry friends. Everytime I read an Uber story, Uber X and G always have the sorriest friends. I hate that so much. But anyway, I liked this story a bunch. Very good job. - Anonymous - May 29th, 2003

Spicy romance with wonderful character development for such a short story! - Wheezie - Feb-06-2011

Fun story. Made me smile, although Tess and Dana were irritating friends. - Lyn B - Feb-27-2011

This is a very good story. Absolutely loved the pace of it. It's realistic. Romantic. Sweet. Made me sigh and chuckle the whole way through. - Anonymous - Mar-09-2011

Great story. Tess and Dana are crazy complications, but realistic. - Georgia - Apr-20-2011
