Not your typical post-FIN tale! Gabrielle is heartbroken, distraught and still angry about losing Xena and goes back to Cyrene's tavern hoping to find solace there. Instead she finds Eve, who doesn't seem to take her mother's death very seriously. What is going on inside Eve's head? There is a way to get Xena back, but (as always) there is much danger, risk and well, read the tale and see!

No Brave New World by Heather
Original / Uber | Modern | General | Drama | Very Short Story - 5 pages | Finished |

On the one year anniversary of the atrocious attacks of September 11, 2001, Xena and Gabrielle are surprised by a visit from Ares. Each of them have been affected in their own way, and Xena toys with idea of taking care of Osama Bin Laden herself.
How would Xena feel about the events of 9/11? Especially when the God of War comes knocking on her door. An excellent, heartfelt story. Must read! - Anonymous - Nov 11th, 2002

9/11 was a terrible day for all of us... including Xena. And boy is she bent. This is a must read, IMO. Pearl Heart did a great job picking the characters minds and finding their true reactions to such a horrible occurance. - Tigress - Nov 13th, 2002

The Day the World Got Really Weird by Heather
Xena | General | Humor | Short Story - 20 pages | Finished | Nov-98
Links: Lost Story - We cannot locate a link to this story.
One morning, Xena wakes up, surprisingly late by her standards, only to find the world a rather weird place with a lot of really strange things going on. This funny little tale shows us an increasingly frustrated warrior trying to find the culprit responsible for the chaos all around her.
