I read this story a long time ago, and it's still very sweet. This was the one that got me hooked on HerBard's writing. She's talented, she's funny and her characters are more than believable! I though this was a brilliant story. It got me hooked from the beggining and definately look forward to a sequel. I can't believe this was Her Bards first attempt, as it was so good. I loved the interaction between Xena and Gabrielle and then with Lycea and Solan as the story and the family developed.
