She meets ex gang leader Resa and their lives are fused together through some unexpected circumstances. The tale of their journey is very well written and a delight to follow. The characters and plot are well thought out and are executed with a steady pace and great dialogue. I thoroughly enjoyed this and it's excellent (but shorter) sequel 'The Day After'.
