This story is supposed to be an alternative bridge to take our fair heroes from the rift of Maternal Instinct to the closeness of One Against an Army (with a little bit of fourth season sensibility thrown in.) It stands in place of the Bittersuite.
This was a much better imagined resolution to the rift and so much more satisfying than the GabDrag. This actually made sense. Also, hot and well written. - BigZee - Jun-21-2013
