I just love the stories of Kim and that is even (beside "Wild") my favourite one. I have no idea how you do it, but I can't stop reading! Just finished reading this gem and I am surprised it hasn't gotten more comments. Common guys!I very much respect and I bend the knees before talent of Kim. My most favourite books "Revolution" and "Wild", these stories have blown my mind. This story, of course, very emotional. Atmosphere is transferred well, characters are deep, well developed and believable, I felt heroes as real, a plot will develop in good rate. I often would like to pass to other page at reading fanfiction because dialogues or are banal and boring, or the plot is too predicted and it becomes again boring and again this damned feeling of a deja vu. But here I have read all from chapter 1 and to last. Only, it would be desirable to see more about romantic relations of Keller and Garrison, their feelings and as they go with it, therefore the end has seemed crumpled, and there was a feeling something lost... And I also don't deny that my eyes were filled with tears when I read this, that says that the author is able to influence the reader and knows as to tell a drama. This story will leave nobody indifferent. I'm not able to write the good review, sorry, but I think, it is amazing and very talented work from the amazing author. I find this story to be exceptional as far as plot and in-depth development in not only the characters, but the major situations in the story. I certainly felt as if the writer was able to create very real situations that draw the reader in-- and her dialog is done very well, although sometimes it isn't clear who says what. She really could use a beta reader to tidy up, help with sentence structure. Also, the author might consider responding to readers who email her, since feedback and response is equally appreciated.Extra comment: on this page, your question below actually reads "How would *your* rate this story?, not "you". I'm looking forward to the continuation of another well written romantic fiction from this collaboration of Kim and Alexa. It's as though they've stepped back from college in setting this new story. Their last work, "Lessons", was set in college. It was a powerfully emotional tale, as are Kim's solo pieces, notably, "First", and "Again", both involving older characters having dialogues with their memories. Revolution by Kim Pritekel and Alexa Hoffman is a major wow! It's a lovely, sweet, tender, humorous, LONG first time novel. I couldn't put it down.I was so impressed with the strong use of first person. It's rare to read a well written 1st person uber...I loved it. The characters are well developed and the authors allow them to evolve into a partnership, rather than using the instant attraction, love at first sight motif. There were some minor editing glitches and errors, but overall, it's a fabulous read. If I were Lunacy (which I'm not) I'd give this my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION! You know, I just loved this story. Very sweet, practically angst free... Well done ladies. A wonderful read. It's how High School should have gone, for all of us. If I had any critique, it would be that the secondary characters needed more depth.
