This series great. KM has phenomenal wit and humor woven into a story that deals with serious issues. The writing is intelligent and romantic. I would love to see this story finished and continued. I can't believe this series is not in the Top 100 of every year. It sure ranks in my Top 10, and I've read a lot. Perhaps the author's own description about this novel being a "character driven piece with no plot" deters many potential readers, as it almost did me. It is a GREAT character study, uber-realistic conflicts and situations, a riveting plot, and wonderful characters...all the elements needed for an excellent page-turner. I love it when the author knows whereof she speaks. Like Cheyenne's insider (first-hand?) knowledge of military training in Permission to Recover, KM is obviously privy to the inner workings of a law firm. Still, the age old dilemma of being intimately involved with your immediate staff and all the resulting angst from dealing with its ramifications makes for a great read in any setting. btw, i love that the author lets the characters take time to let their friendship / relationship grow instead of jumping into the sack right off. Seems a lot more realistic to me. And ultimately more satisfying. Jess is probably my favorite character in all of Athenaeum. - OMG - May-09-2011    I love the stories I read them all. I want more. I positively adored "Considerable Appeal" and "Undeniable" and now we have "Intuition" to enjoy!!! YAY!!! KM mixes just the right amounts of romance, humor, suspense, and angst in her tales, and the witty banter between Jess and Robin is so very refreshing. This is truly a uniquely written and very addictive series.
