There is only one thing more that a reader could possibly want out of this story. For it to be longer and have many, many sequels. Larisa sure knows what she's doing! - SammyLee - Jul 18th, 2003

I wanted to simply say that I have read and enjoyed every single piece of literature that has been posted here. My personal favorite is Emotional Paralysis. It touches me deeply, so thank you. I hope that you will continue to share with us your wonderful talent and once again thank you!!!!!!Tina - Tina - Jul 4th, 2004

I've read ALL Larisa's original stories and I must say, I'm impressed. They're all fantastic and I love them but one thing I have to say: you have the same storyline in every story so I kind of knew in advance what will gonna happen when I'm reading your stories. I kinda like when authors write different kind of storylines in each stories because it makes me excited to know that I don't know what will happen in the story. But aside from that your stories are great ! Keep going, Larissa ! I'd love to read more stuffs from you ! - Bitazh - Feb-14-2008

ooohhh loved it , as anyone who reads it will to! - laura - Mar-13-2008

I loved this story, not too many of the fanfic authors are able to capture me with any of their stories, but Larisa has captured my attention with every story. They contain the right amount of humor, romance, and some violence. Gotta love it, with Appalachian Trails I was transfixed to the screen until I had read every line. - Jesse James - Mar-15-2006

This was one of the first Larisa stories i read and over the next few day i devoured the rest of her available works, reading one after the other until i reached the last of her list. Love her writing and sense of humour. Those combined make for an amazing and funny story everytime. Now a couple of years later i consider Larisa to be my favourite of fanfic writers and quite often return every couple of months to reread the stories from the first to last. Hoping that one day i will be able to read something new from my favourite, but until then i will reread and reread..... - Cookie - Nov-11-2014

No matter how many times I read this - I still goggle and laugh. Great story! - Anonymous - Aug-07-2011

Hmmm... well written, but I didn't like it: The characters were to exaggerated and to much "comedy" for such difficult problems/topics... (I don't want to spoil so...) and I didn't like the end. I liked the first 50 % of the story. ;-) - :-P - Dec-28-2011

Amazing story with a good storyline. - Anonymous - Apr-30-2012

this story was packed with laughs, and there was just the right amount of drama, well worth reading over again. - magurk - May-20-2012

So the fun continues in this zany tale of love and suspense sure to grab you!
THE BLUES wonderful thriller/humor story. Reminds me of "Coma". Just another reason to stay out of the hospital. lol. But then again if the doctors and nurses were like the ones in Larisa's story, I may just visit every once in awhile. - Sissy2757 - Aug 13th, 2003

"The Blues" was the story that finally got me hooked and so I started reading a lot of Larisa's works.Where do I begin?I really love the goofy people in the story. No one is safe from embarrassing oneself. I think that's what makes the characters alive, not to mention the dialogues. - lectra - Aug 7th, 2004

Honors/Awards:  Perennial Favorite Award: #04 in 2002, #68 in 2003, #62 in 2004, #61 in 2005     Top-25 #1.
Part 1 of the Body Parts Series
Series List: Body Parts, Lover's Tryst, Ripper's Heart
Detective Xepher Sallano, trying to solve what appear to be serial murders, keeps running into dead ends...literally. Then the Medical Examiner dies in the midst of the investigation, and his replacement is makes Sallano see red. It's hate at first sight for Chief Medical Examiner Brianna Meadows, too. Or is it? As the murders get more gruesome, Detective and ME find themselves involved...in more ways than one. This is another of Larisas' gripping tales with unconventional characters, laughs, love and gore, that will keep you spellbound.
Xepher? Guess those "X" names are kinda hard to come by, huh? Once I got past that, and the fact that parts of it are REALLY gory, I quite enjoyed it. - Mich - Sep 14th, 2002

I agree, there is gore galore but I like a story with grit so I was interested right away. I just read it in it's entirety, it's simply wonderful. I can see a Bone Collector 2 with Angelina here ... or is that wishful thinking? It would be a shame if you bypassed it simply because the graphic scenes may disturb you for it's got one of my highest ticks of approval. - Corbeau's Voyager - Dec 1st, 2003

GREAT STORY!! READ IT!!! Alittle gory, but if you're like me and like that kinda stuff, its a keeper. Larisa, you rock! - Anonymous - Jul 26th, 2005

THis was soooooo SICK!!! I loved it... almost made me want to go to med school. lol - sumdumbbytch - Feb-08-2007

Sick, twisted and a good ride. No worse than CSI, as far as gore, and the interaction between the girls is priceless. - Amy - Mar-30-2007

Loved this series and would love to read more from Xe and Brian. I thought the characterizations were great and I loved the banter between the two characters. I also like it when uber G has some spunk and grit to her. - Anonymous - Apr-01-2009

This series will always be my favorite by Larisa. I have come back may times. Good thing my laptop has insurance. I have read and re-read this story and I still forget not to drink when I am reading. Dear gods, this one had me in stitches. Peanut and LaaLaa have to be two of the funniest characters Larisa has written...well, maybe except for Sprout. Larisa's imagination must have been working overtime for this one! Don't miss this story!!! - Judy - Nov 12th, 2003

Since the first time I read one of her stories I was hooked and have converted my friends into followers of Larisa's stories as well.. I was howling with laughter at Peanut and Laalaa.. I do agree that they give Sprout a run for her money!!Larisa ur the best!! Don't stop writing Please.. Can't wait for where she takes us next!!Hugz... - Zyan - Nov 19th, 2003

Larisa can spin a tale like NO ONE ELSE!!! "Bumbled Burglary" is yet another example of this bard's prowess, and perfect mix of side-splitting humor and rich romance. Everytime I read a Larisa tale, I find myself laughing out loud and crying real tears, usually at the same time!!! Thank you, Larisa, for another wonderful story!!! Read this tale!!! You won't be sorry!!! Promise!!! - Michelle - Nov 23rd, 2003

WARNING!!! DO NOT EAT & DRINK WHILE READING!!! This story had me totally cracking up at the antics of LaaLaa and Peanut. I recommend this to anyone who has a sense of humour. - Rae - Nov 24th, 2003

Hilarious! I can't describe what I liked best. Larisa just did a great job... AGAIN. If you want a comedy, a romance and an surprising ending... here you go... . - lectra - Aug 6th, 2004

I stumbled on Larisa's stories just another day, I don't know why I haven't read any of them before. Now I'm simply in love these stories *sigh* and I'm reading them all through.I specially liked this one: maybe it's the baby/child-content... Who knows. Very good work, Larisa! - Elle - Aug 23rd, 2005

As with everything Larisa writes, plenty of humor! This time a couple of inept women attempt to rob a bank and end up with a pair of hostages instead. A very pregnant Jos. and child wary Remi. Turns out Remi grew up in an orphanage and is afraid of I'm not afraid of the kids because of what they can do to me; it's because of what I can't do for them." Pretty touching sentiment, huh? GREAT work Larisa! When we get some more??? Please... - toni - Apr-26-2008

Another great story, peanut and laalaa are just so funny, and the story itself is great, it is rather sweet and gentle. - mutt - Dec-11-2011

I hope this story has a second part to come - Anonymous - Dec-12-2011

This is one of the best story by Larisa , if it was expanded it would make a great book, the humor and drama are just the right mix, this is a must read .story - mutt - Dec-12-2011

This is so funny if you need a good laugh then get reading xx - SD - Aug-13-2015

I have read this story more times than I can count and each time I about fall out of my chair laughing!! LaLa and Peanut are two of the best original characters Larisa's created to date. If you like a lot of off the wall humor with your romance, this is a must read. - Stacia - Sep-16-2015

FBI Director Jericho Chamaune has a hobby of trying to solve the cases of missing women dating back ten years of more. One day her assistant director Stan gives her yet another folder of a missing woman. Like several others, she is a college student from Texas. In all the time she has been working the case, they have yet to find any sign of the missing women. When she placed the picture of the latest missing young woman on her wall, she could not tear her eyes away from the green eyes looking back at her. One day a friend working at the nearby hospital calls her. A woman has been found lying beside a road and brought to the emergency room for treatment. At her first sight of the woman's haunted green eyes, Jericho knows that this is the latest missing woman.
I thoroughly enjoyed Buried Prejudices and the rest of your stories. I don't know why I've never read them before, but each new story is like a fine wine - to be savored. - Judy - Jun 13th, 2002

As with all of Larisa's stories, she grabs your undivided attention at the onset and you find you can't stop until the last sentence has been read. All her stories contain the standard beginning, middle, and end...but in between, they're packed with enough action and romance to make your reading a delighful pleasure. - ~M~ - Jun 17th, 2002

I have to recommend this story. I have enjoyed all of Larisa's stories, especially the ones set in WV. I am from the area in which Larisa writes. It is awesome to read stories set in my home area. I love her characters, so true to life. A MUST READ! - The Dragon's Fire - Jan-04-2008

This is probably in my top five of favorite Larisa stories. While she isn't my favorite author, her stories are fun to read. This one didn't make me chuckle as much as the other ones, but it also didn't make me roll my eyes as much either. Definitely a good read. - Hillsys Stalker - Mar-13-2008

This is the first story of Larisa's that I read, and it made me read all the others. Brilliant. - kdsusa3 - Mar-24-2008

Capon's Savage by Larisa
Original / Uber | Modern | Alternative (Mature) | Romance (alt) | Novella - 57 pages | Finished | Sep-02
Cast: Dash, Savage, Tommie, Jed
Honors/Awards:  #07 in 2002     Two-Time Top-25 #1.
Dash Monroe is a photo-journalist for the Washington Traveler, assigned to the annual Bungee Jumping event from Capon's Bridge, West Virginia. In a place full fo history and mystery, a routine shoot takes an unexpected turn that will take Dash face-to-face with the legendary Capon Savage, the past and the future. A slight departure from her usual for this author, this is one story of thought, mysticism, romance, history and many a laugh that's sure to please all!
Normally I love Larisa's work. She has a great sense of humour, but this one was very off. Needs to be re edited to remove the beta reader's comments and re thought as a whole, to many gaps and lags. - Riah - Sep 12th, 2002 - Feb-26-2006 - Feb-26-2006

I love how Larisa weaves history in and out of this story so easily! It's somewhat of a change, kinda mystic and romantic, which shows the versatility of this bard. I highly recommend this deeper-thinking tale that will charm and enchant all readers! - Anastacia13 - Sep 13th, 2002

This is one romantic story Larisa wrote. Almost had me in tears. - Anonymous - Sep 14th, 2002

Not one of Larisa's better stories. The characters and dialogue seem kind of familiar, and the bad guys are pretty stereotypical. A couple of funny lines, though. - k.j. - Sep 14th, 2002

I loved this story, Larisa writes stories that make you think on a deeper level. And the dialogue between characters had me laughing quite often. - Sharon - Sep 15th, 2002

Larisa 's earlier work has more substance and depth. She is writing stories to quickly and they are lacking because of it. - anonymous - Sep 16th, 2002

I really loved this story, Larisa knows what a romantic I am and she weaved an enchanting tale. I think the charachters are wonderful and they all have a great deal of depth even the smaller charachters are intersting and full of life. I think its a terrific story! - Ri - Sep 17th, 2002

This author has style!!! Don't let the negative comments fool you - this one is funny and romantic. Don't expect it to be like Body Parts though! Hey, would I lie? - One 'lil Amazon - Sep 18th, 2002

I have read and liked most of Larisa's work but Capon's Savage is the first time I have felt compelled to write and say how much I loved reading a story. - russell dodd - Sep 21st, 2002

Not one of the better works by the writer. Shaky and rough, guess even the good writers have bad days. - Lari - Sep 23rd, 2002

This is one great romantic tale with the classic overtures of what an Uber is all about! Wonderful! - Solari5 - Sep 23rd, 2002

Larisa has written a love story that transcends time. This one gently captures your heart, then holds you spellbound. Well done, bard. - ~M~ - Sep 28th, 2002

Is it different from her other work? Yes. Doesn't matter - this is a really nice change for Larisa, and one that demonstrates her range very well. I really enjoyed Capon Savage and disagree with the comments that say it is not among her better work. - Anonymous - Oct 25th, 2002

Capon's Savage has somthing I belive we all want to find in life, that specel one that just complets us.Larisa has created a mini world of humor and lovely caracters for us to folow in this wild savage story.I recomed it dearly. The usal WARNING of not eatign or drinking anything while reding Larisas storys aplyes hear to.(I shuld know it just cost me a good kebord, that unfotunetly was not coffe profed) - SammyLee - Jan 4th, 2004

WOW!!! I feel as if Larisa was looking into my heart while writing this story. Maybe some day I will see my "two trees". I think that the readers who were more concerened with the typographical errors were missing the point of the story and living in "John's world". I guess some people just never do get a clue! - Susie - Jan 31st, 2004

This is one of the most heart touching stories I have read thus far. I highly recommend this story. - Hel - Nov-06-2007

This was a really sweet story. I enjoyed it tremendously. Thanks for posting it. For those that want a nice, romantic tale about soulmates reuniting - you've found it. - x/g fanfic fanatic - Jun-15-2010

This is one of Larisa's quieter stories, or I should sat gentler stories, the humor is still there, I hope there will be a second part. - mutt - Dec-14-2011

Needs editing. Good story though - soopi - Mar-22-2012

This stiry was very original there was some hilarious moments in this one grandma is a piece of qork - Mandy - Jun-03-2012

Fantastic!! This story showcases Larisa's writing talents, especially plot development with a heavy dose of humor. Loved the blend of uber characteristics and the blurring of lines between two all-time favorite characters. Very nicely done. - Stacia - Dec-05-2012

In the sequel to 'Red Feather,' Xe and Pony are still in hot water.
Larisa is a wonderfully gifted author. Her stories have great plot and some are very funny. You must read every
single one of her stories. She brings great entertainment to your life. Some will make u laugh out loud; some will make u sad, some will make u happy. Don't give this author a miss.

P/S: Does anyone know why she stop writing? I would have love to see some sequels to some of her stories. Also on the old server, u guys had a webpage of Larisa's stories. It had pics of Xena and some other pics' a summary of all her stories without the recommandations. It was like her own personal webpage. - Anonymous - Aug-31-2007

I've been looking for that page, too. Larisa has some great tales, been reading these over and over for years. Met her once at the DC Bardfest. Awesome woman. Superb author! - Mayhem - Jun-12-2008

eh where is Larisa's own webpage that she had on the old server? I seem to be the 3rd person asking this. I remember it had all her fics n they were grouped by series n singles. there were some cool pics on it too. She's such a gifted author. U MUST READ ALL HER FICS! Wish she write a few sequels to some of her stories. Why she stop writing? - Anonymous - Jun-16-2008

Chase the Storm by Larisa
Original / Uber | Modern | Alternative (Mature) | Romance (alt) | Novella - 67 pages | Finished | Dec-02
Cast: Gavin, Bevis, Andy, Butkis, Dustin, Mini, Doppler, Toby, Storm, Dustball, Jeremy
Honors/Awards:  Perennial Favorite Award: #23 in 2002, #16 in 2003     Top-25 #1.
In usual Larisa fashion, the laughs are a mile a minute as spitfire TV anchor Gavin De la Rouge, gets a two-month assignment with 'The Storm Troopers,' whose rep as computer geeks, weather freaks and probably perverts, is the least of her problems. Truth is, the Troopers, headed by the taciturn Dr. T. Storm, are as much proficient professionals heading into danger trying to predict the next twister, as they are nuts. Gavin shortly fits right in with Beavis, Butkis, Dustball & Andy, and especially tall, blue-eyed, Mini Me-toting T., who just canÆt help falling for the short blonde anchor. Get set for great laughs and a fast-paced read that will leave a big smile on your face!
My God that story was funny!!!! My cheeks are still hurting from laughing so much. The characters are hilarious and I will never get tired of her writing style. Good job Larisa. Please sir I want some more. - Anonymous - Dec 23rd, 2002

I recently discovered Larisa's work and then read "Chase the Storm". I gotta tell you if you haven't already checked out Larisa's stories, run....don't walk. Almost each and every story will make you laugh and hate to see the story end. Larisa writes in such a way that you feel that you are watching the story take place on the screen. Great work... thanks Larisa! - JO Dec 27th, 2002

From the other comments, I expected to find this story witty, but I'm afraid I didn't. Much of the "humor" consists of characters yelling at each other in situations that seem contrived even by fan fiction standards. The secondary characters are too cutesy, the bad guys are one-dimensional, and there's not much effort at realistic dialogue. Guess my sense of humor is more of the Creme Brulee type. - Anonymous - Dec 30th, 2002

I thought this story was freakin' hysterical. I'm such an uber addict and Larisa is quickly becoming a favorite. I'm waiting for more. - Twister - Jan 27th, 2003

WHAT A TRIPP:::..I wan't a mini ME 2... and some action like thos hott cracy galls in this story. It will give you a good laght and food for thught to read this story.ENJOY - SammyLee - Mar 1st, 2003

Grisly and her friends Daryl and Marty work at the local chicken processing plant, where the management is less than...quality. Enter Bronte - tall, dark, and dangerous-looking...just what Grisly dreamed about. What results are some very funny moments and some outrageous dialogue and more about chicken processing than you'd ever want to know!
The author has found my funny bone and I just keep coming back for more. - a Larisa fan - Sep 1st, 2002

This is more than I ever wanted to know about chicken processing plants since the infamous X-Files episode. But the laughs keep coming! A GREAT read! - Anastacia13 - Sep 10th, 2002

Y'know..the more of your stories I read, the more I like your writing abilities. The way you can have something totally different for each story...well that ability does and continues to surprise me to no end. I'd repeat this comment for each of your stories that I've read, but you might get irritated with the repetition. - Jules - Aug 1st, 2004

Ok, basically the stories of Larisa have the same elements but still she creates new stories each time. The dialogues are really funny e.g Grandpa, "Damn woman if I was 50 years younger and female." You have to read it to get the context... . - lectra - Aug 12th, 2004

Class Separation by Larisa
Original / Uber | Modern | Alternative (Mature) | Romance (alt) | Novella - 95 pages | Finished | Feb-04
Cast: Merc, Finnegan, Tracy, Savoy, Timmy, Mallory, Ma
Honors/Awards:  Perennial Favorite Award: #03 in 2004, #81 in 2005, #45 in 2008     Top-25 #1.
In this mystery, an old wrong is again brought to light as First Sergeant Merc Macgregor is assigned to guard Finnegan Draper, a High School teacher who has been seriously beaten and left for dead, and who Merc blames for her part in the long-ago incident. However, in usual Larisa fashion, things are not as they seem and sparks fly between the two protagonists and their cronies, to the innevitable attraction and bliss of the two former 'enemies.'
Another excellent offering from Larisa -- she just keeps getting better. I enjoyed the mystery -- didn't even come close to who the bad guy was. I always wait till things is done before starting as I know nothing will get done till I am done with the story. - Linda - Feb 25th, 2004

maybe you can do another one where Davis comes back and they can finlly get him to tell the truth in court...during one of his cases...and maybe Fin's can rember again... and let Mac beat Davis up... - Anonymous - Sep-17-2008

What a pick-me-up for when you're feeling down or need a laugh. Larisa brings Merc and Finn to life in a way that only she can. One thing to loce about Larisa's stories is how she uses the mother figure to keep everyone in line. Loved it! - Stacia - Oct-23-2012

Cast: Jo, Blair, Tootie, Nat, Melanie
Honors/Awards:  #22 in 2005     Top-25 #1.
I'm a bit confused, are the characters in this story the same as who were in Weekend Bliss and A Period of Adjustment because I'm just having a really hard time grasping this idea. - Louise - May 31st, 2005

I didn't enjoy this story about Jo and Blair as much as the others, but it was still interesting to read, especially the humor with Nat and Tootie. But what I'm waiting for are stories with "original" characters, made up by Larisa, as only Larisa's imagination can dream up. Those are her best loved stories ...and very much missed! Or how about sequels to ANY of her originals. I would love to read more about Memphis, Luka, CJ, Brumby, Sprout & Lia from "Day Walker" again, just to name one of my favorites. How's Tucker, Duncan, baby Shane, Ripples & Furball doing from "Blue Calm?" Or Levi, Brody, Shane & Teddy from "Blind Date." Ok, that's two more favorites, I better stop. Sequels from any of her originals would be appreciated and loved. Keep up the great work, Larisa, it's great to have you back. - Sherry - Jun 1st, 2005

I fell across this by accident and am glad I did. I loved the Facts Of Life and enjoyed this story from start to finish. The humor with Nat and Tootie was true to there characters. The build up to the relationship betwen Jo and Blair was interestng and show"s how true friends (and lovers) lookout for one another. - Liz - Aug 11th, 2005

I truly enjoyed this story which I accidently came apon. Tootie and Nat were great with their humor, and Jo and Blair"s relationship showed what the meaning of true friendship first means, building into a loving relationship. I highly recommend this delightful tale. - Liz - Aug 11th, 2005

Larisa is a very talented and engaging writer and I have loved all of her stories, but I especially love her Jo and Blair stories. I have not seen much alt fan fiction about these characters and I really enjoyed the new life that Larisa gave them. She stays true to the basic characters, but her storylines go well-beyond the original show. I envy the imagination that this creative writer has to take two-dimensional characters from an old T.V. show and create such wonderful new storylines. I highly recommend these stories. - Joan - Jan-09-2009

I really enjoyed this story. I was a huge "Facts of Life" fan. I love these characters. - purplehawke - Jan-19-2009

I Loved the Facts of Life back in the day, and love Jo-Blair fan fiction now. Larisa's take on their relationship is quite engaging. She stays true to the show's characters but gives them a whole new original life beyond Eastland that is romantic, sexy and funny as all hell. Larisa thanks for bringing my favorite fan fiction couple, Jo & Blair together in a fresh, evocative way. I've read lots and lots of Facts Fan Fiction and I highly recommend Coming Home- it is truly unique. All I can ask is...please write more Jo/Blair stories! - Nitescout - Feb-04-2009

This story is fast paced, and rip roaring funny, couldn't, stop laughing, hope the sequal is as good - mutt - Dec-16-2011

I liked this story , it just the right mix of houmor and drama, I also liked the small bit of civil war history, it is nice that Larisa has shared some of her love of the Appalachians. - magurk - Apr-27-2012

Whew, this one should come with a warning to not read at work! Lots of humor Larisa style mixed with a bit of mystery and lots of hot sex. As with most Larisa's stories, the main characters are funny, likeable and wild and the supporting cast even more so. I'm surprised this one isn't rated more. - Stacia - Sep-15-2014

Crash Course by Larisa

Cast: Largo, Garrison, Garri, Vanna, Vern
Honors/Awards:  Perennial Favorite Award: #83 in 2003, #98 in 2004, #54 in 2005     Top-25 #1.
Tall, blue-eyed Largo Coogan, was having her first weekend off in weeks and she planned on spending it fishing at the Shenandoah River. Little did she know that she would run into Garrison Dexter...both literally and figurately. The little blonde would turn her world upside down and then some.
Sometimes fate has to hit you between the eyes to get your attention. Garrison Dexter and Largo Coogan certainly find this to be the case in this hilarious Larisa tale. Add to that a crazy cousin complete with the voices in her head and costumes to match, and some rather unorthodox breast enhancements, and you have another winner!!! You go, Larisa!!! - Michelle - Jun 23rd, 2003

Winner of the Intrepid Story Challenge, June 2003. Larisa has managed once again to totally ambush us with a great story. My recommendation to you isàJUST READ IT! - SammyLee - Jul 18th, 2003

Da Nang by Larisa
Original / Uber | Modern | Alternative (Mature) | Drama | Novella - 52 pages | Finished | Jun-02
Cast: Mickey, Alex, Zach, Greene, Angie, Martin
MSgt Zachary is fighting a war that the US refuses to acknowledge. With a man wounded, she has to come out
of the jungle or risk losing him. She heads to the 91st Eval Hospital carrying him across her shoulder, and refuses to move from the small window that goes into the OR room. After the surgery is complete, she comes face to face with a
small nurse who has the guts to insult her. More amazing to her is she lets her live afterward.
Larisa fans scramble to her stories for hootin' laughs and a jolly good time. In poorly disguised incarnations, we have the uber X&Gs, the 2 bumbling stooges and the next best golden-eyed couple stumbling through adventure romances. This ain't the usual. Da Nang is the Best story Larisa has written yet. The agony of Vietnam and the sensitivity with which she explores the broken psyche of Alex while we cheer on her healing romance with Mickey. There's still plenty of action - the hot as well as the gory kind, and the giggles only Larisa can give us. There's more to this writer than slapstick. - E - Dec 2nd, 2003

Great work!! One of the best. - Anonymous - Jul 27th, 2005

Unfortunate that this piece hasn't won more recognition than it has, it is fully as good as some of her works which have won the weekly no. 1 positions. It is not one of her comedic pieces, and honestly I'm glad to see she can write serious pieces along with the lighthearted ones. - Kudara - Jul-06-2006

Wonderful story. If this were a book, it'd be one of those that you can't put down until you are done. - TrayC - Apr-20-2008

What an amazing novella! Larisa allows the reader to explore the wonderful love story between Alex and Mickey whilst blazing upon the unforgettable backdrop that was the Vietnam War. Also, it was a pleasure to remember the courage and unfailing dedication that our U.S. Registered Nurses (Medical Officer Personnel) administered to our brave men and women soldiers under the most devastating ravages of war. And, the passionate love story was well written and engaging. This is a must read!!! - Eden - May-29-2008

It's Larisa, you know it gonna make your laugh and spray coke on your monitor. - Anonymous - Sep-07-2008

Well done! Although different from her other stories this was an amazing tale. - Anonymous - Sep-25-2009

this was one of Larisa'a best stories, the humor was there, but over the top humor that Larisa is best at , the drama was perfect, it so much respect for the vietnam vets, well done. - mutt - Dec-18-2011

Day Walker by Larisa
Original / Uber | Modern | Alternative (Mature) | Drama | Novella - 55 pages | Finished | Dec-02
Cast: Memphis, Luka, Sprout, CJ, Brumby, Mama
Honors/Awards:  Perennial Favorite Award: #06 in 2002, #71 in 2003, #94 in 2004     Top-25 #1.
Get ready to meet Memphis Belle and Luka and go Cajun in this tasty tale by the Mistress of Maybem and Weird Relatives! You will re-write what you know about vampires and roll on the floor laughing in this very funny and sometimes violent gem set in Mardi Gras country, where romance...ahh...Sprouts, and the characters are out of this world...literally! ;-)
Since Larisa hasn't written in a while, she has definately came out with something worth the wait. A DAMNED good story if I say so myself. One that I actually have read twice. The characters are so funny and every bit as perverted as the ones in her other stories. Good reading and recommend it to anyone who needs a good laugh. Good job Larisa and keep up the good work!! ^_^ - Anonymous - Dec 4th, 2002

One word...Sprout!!! This newest offering from Larisa had my partner rolling on the floor and the dog questioning our sanity we laughed so much. ;-) To the author: Fangs for the memories! (you may gag at that or write another story whichever you choose.) - Kay - Dec 5th, 2002

I've come to the conclusion that Larisa should be certified as a nut case. She has the strangest characters in her stories and IT WORKS! I love the little ones Sprout and Lia! She may have been MIA for a while but she came back with a WINNER! I laughed until I couldn't breathe, keep up the great work. - Dancer - Dec 10th, 2002

Good God, i havent laughed so hard (or needed a bucket of ice soo badly) in a LONG time! This is a great story! both for the plot and the nutso characters! - Wind - Dec 10th, 2002

Are you afraid of vampires?...well don't be with Fang and friends around. Another HIT from Larisa. I'm still laughing and very warm with this latest installment. Read it and you'll see why. Loved it! - NLW - Dec 12th, 2002

I stayed up reeeeal late one night reading this, and it was sooo worth it! This is a fabulous story! I don't know which I found more enchanting... Sprout or Mama. Larisa has outdone herself with this one. I loved it! Thanks for the laughs. - Taleweaver - Dec 16th, 2002

I absolutely do not read Vampire stories. This story though is so wonderful that I loved every word. The charachters are sweet and funny and I loved every moment of it. I almost forgot that I was reading a vampire story I was having so much fun. Great Job Kiddo!!!!! - Ri - Dec 18th, 2002

I loved this story!!!!! Larisa is one of the best uber writers out there in my opinion. I can't wait for more about Luka and Memphis(and Sprout too!) Please give us more Day Walker! - Jbamazon - Dec 18th, 2002

MY GOD!.... this has to be the funniest, most riveting uber story I've read in a while! Luka and Memphis were superbly fleshed out, and Sprout... oh my.... I am just not gonna comment! AMAZING!!!!!! - Katelin B - Mar 2nd, 2003

Keep it up Larisa, you're the best!!!!!!!!! - Bacchus - Jul 19th, 2003

KILLER STORY REALLY. I JUST ABOUT BUST A GUT DO I HEAR A PART TWO? - TMc - Aug 3rd, 2003

Kudos to Larisa!!!! I can't wait for Larisa's next story. It seems like it has been weeks since this author has posted any new stories. I feel the main component of her stories is her ability to make the characters three-dimensional. I also appreciate that the dialogue in her stories flow giving depth to the characters, even the bizarre characters that she utilizes for comedy relief. A story that really captured my interest was "Day Walker". I'd like to know if Larisa plans to write a sequel to "Day Walker"? Maybe the new antithesis can be demons or Lupines. Thanks Larisa!MDeBeers - MDeBeers - Oct 5th, 2003

I like this story , it was somewhat different than what Larisa usualy writes , the humor is there, however there is just something diferent too, the sidekick are great , the tiny terrors help make the story, well worth reading. - mutt - Dec-18-2011

Sprout is my new favorite character, but all the characters are great together. They're just an awesome dysfunctional family that happens to have a few members that drink blood, but we all have our quirks! - Journey04 - Mar-02-2012

Neither woman is what she seems, but it seems that their destinies are intertwined in this whirlwind romance, that along with it's usual Larisa happy ending, includes a simian wrecking crew and colorfully interesting parental units. Great read!
I have found that finding a Larisa story is like receiving a box of fancy chocolates. You say to yourself, ôIÆll just put these aside for a special moment.ö But the very thought of just having them somewhere preys on your mind. Taunting, tempting, seducing you. Next things you know youÆre in a chocolate induced coma.LarisaÆs stories are just like that. I think I have managed to go 5 hours after printing one up before I read it. Once I start reading, nothing else matters. The house could burn down for all I care.DonÆt bother me, IÆm reading LARISA !!!!!DIABLOÆS ISLAND has everything to keep your attention. Half nekkid women walking around. South Sea island paradise. Sailing around the ocean blue on a yacht with the before mention nekkid women. Gears Heads Doing Time by Larisa
Original / Uber | Modern | Alternative (Mature) | Romance (alt) | Short Story - 46 pages | Finished | Dec-02
Cast: Jack, Mike, Poni, Morigan, Oink, Stacey, Jessica, Jake, Steve
Honors/Awards:  #93 in 2003
Part 2 of the Gear Heads Series
Series List: Gear Heads, Gears Heads Doing Time
Mike, Morigan, Drake, and Stacey, all the "Gear Heads" we've come to know and love, are back in this hilarious sequel, revolving around Drake's black-sheep cousin Jack, her partner Oink, and a mysterious ring of stolen cars. Jack soon becomes one of the gang, moving in lock, stock and pint-sized guard dog, Jessica, who attaches herself to the leg of anyone who's insensitive enough to take issue with her size. It appears everyone has a secret, this time around, but, remember, jumping to conclusions can be counter-productive, in Larisa's world, so, just sit, back, laugh hysterically, eat some blue food, and enjoy the ride!
I think the idea for the story was really good, but it needed some grammatical work big time. There were tons of run on sentences and the words 'I seen...' were used throughout instead of 'I saw...'. I don't mean to sound rude, but it made the characters sound dumb. Also, many times you couldn't tell where one scene ended and another began. Some sort of page break would have been very helpful. Again, it was a good idea for a story, but all the grammer problems made it a bad read. - Anonymous - May 5th, 2003

This story, like its predecessor, is great! The charm of the piece comes from the fact that the characters sound just like they would in real life! Goodness the accent affectations and off-the-wall grammar just scream Southern, y'all! ;-) They are ALL insane, and you just can't wait to see what they do next! Keep them coming up with new antics Larisa, and thanks for the tears from laughter! - Anastacia13 - May 5th, 2003

A very fun and funny read. Nice charaterizations of X & G as well as the Amazons. Loopy enough to be truly from Larisa's quill. - Georgia - Mar-07-2008

This is more of a drama. Something a little different by Larisa, but it is still a cute read. I have read it all by her, not matter what it is, you can always expect a great read. - cpo - Sep-30-2010

As a drama it was okay, not one of Larisa's better stories.

Haunted Past by Larisa

Cast: Erin, Gillian, Sandy, Dave, Bob, Gill, Sylvia
Honors/Awards:  Perennial Favorite Award: #24 in 2002, #71 in 2006     Top-25 #1.
Here's one that has all the makings of Country-Western songs...several of them! ;-) Actually, using Blake Shelton song as somewhat of a backdrop, Larisa spins Gillian and Erins' tale of love found, love lost, and love found again in this bitter-sweet reminiscence tale with a classic ending.
What a wonderful story this Bard has written, I truly enjoyed it. - Teresa - Oct 16th, 2002

This story was different than what I'm used ot form Larisa. But, it was still just as good as any she's ever written! It was very good... can't wiat for part two! - Amanda Windeler - Nov 10th, 2002

This is brilliant. Radically different to her usual style, which I have to admit, that, like a recent comment stated, I'm not really a fan of. I find the supporting "lunatic fringe" characters irritating and un-realistic, too. I realise that these are the very things that draw a lot of readers to Larisa's stories so I won't knock them, they're just not to my taste. This story however was very much to my taste. I hope there's a sequel, (it did say to be continued!). Well worth a read! - Zero - Jul 16th, 2003

Oh this one is really good. Different than her other stories but the heartwarming love is still there! - Anonymous - Jul 29th, 2005

This story has touched my heart just as much as Blake Shelton's song This Is Austin did when I first heard it. I just wish that Larisa would do a sequel to it. I know that it has a nice ending but it just seems sort of unfinished in a way. - Jesse James - Apr-21-2006

I loved this story. Haunted Past touched my heart the same way that Blake Shelton's song This Is Austin does every time I hear it. I just wish that Larisa would make a sequel. - Jesse James. - Apr-21-2006

Hill Jack Conspiracyà.By LarisaTruly a hilarious adventure. This story is one of the funniest pieces I have read in a long while. From the chicken dance to a squirrel tattooàjust out of this world funny. My favorite line out of the whole story was.. ôIÆm a Pervert not a fighter.ö I laughed my ass off. - Intrepid Judge3 - Jan 3rd, 2004

Hill Jack Conspiracyà.By LarisaEver meet Secret Squirrel or a femme version of Dr.Who? Well neither had I before reading this entertaining story. Anyone that likes LarisaÆs adventures is sure to love this one.It has whit charm and humor that take you on a tummy crunching exercise while reading it.It measures up good and has all the pre-stated challenge statements in them.We are truly taken for a ride with this story to locations I never had visited before. We get to follow two characters that truly are a discovery all in themselves. Though this story is long it does not feel that way when you have gotten into it, and when you reach the final line, you wish there was more to come. - Intrepid judge1 - Jan 3rd, 2004

Hilljack Conspiracy by LarisaLoved the twists and turns this tale took! I loved how she placed them in the U.S. instead of a third world country! I laughed, I cried, and basically had a great time reading this! - Intrepid Judge2 - Jan 3rd, 2004

i don't feel hill jack conspiracy is one of her better stories but it is still a good one... then again all of her other stories are great, fantastic, MAGNEFICO! lol so u really can't complain at all.. if you've read this try to read the other stories done by her. you will NEVER ever regret it! i've read them a gazillion times over and they still capture me and pull me in! u rock larisa! - Anonymous - Feb 9th, 2004

Loved it. Loved the insane characters. I especially loved the chicken dance lol. A Larisa story always makes me smile or laugh so hard i almost fall off my chair. Keep the stories coming Larisa. My only problem is when can we expect a new one? - Poeticvamp - Apr 4th, 2005

I have to say that this was one of the most amusing stories I've read of Larisa's. I'm what a lot of people would refer to as a country hick so when my best friend read this one she made me read it. I've always had an obsession with The Secret Squirrel and so it really amused me alot, of course my tatoo of Secret Squirrel isn't in the same place but I wish I had thought of it :D. I just wish Larisa would write one based in Georgia. It would really rock if she based one in Gainesville GA. - Jesse James - Mar-15-2006

Hilarious names, places, and scenarios; Larisa has an endless supply! Beyond twisted! "NO ONE SEES THE SECRET SQUIRREL!" Thanks Larisa, keep them coming! - Cindy - Nov-06-2006

NO ONE SEES THE SECRET SQUIRREL! =))=))=))YOU CRACK ME UP! - braniac - Dec-01-2011

Overall it rates not at 10 but 100 - mutt - Dec-25-2011

Hollywood by Larisa
Xena | Alternative | Humor | Short Story - 19 pages | Finished |
Cast: Brie, Xe, Poni, Eph, Joxer, Granny, Arte, Jethro, Jane, Elle, Ares, Jed, Dite, Mae, Argo
A freak storm hits and Eph and Poni were close to being pulled out of the temple into the storm, grabbing a hold of the rope that still bound everyone together they held on to it and each other for dear life. The wind grew stronger as it spun around them, then swallowed them in one gulp. Brie had buried her face in to Xe's neck and held on when they were all picked up and spun in a circle. "Dam the Gods, I wish we were somewhere else!" Brie screamed at the top of her lungs. A loud clap of thunder cracked overhead and a huge bolt of lightening shot through the door hitting the whirlwind, arcs of different colored lights danced around them, then all was black. Weell, ya'll never believe where they ended up!
Okay, I love all of Larisa's stories, but this has got to be the best by far. Excellent pacing and character introductions, with a laugh every half-a-second. - HurlyWurlyGig - Oct 3rd, 2003

Really cute and will make you laugh outloud - Anonymous - Jul-11-2010

Ice Princess (The) by Larisa
Original / Uber | Modern | Alternative | Drama | Novella - 70 pages | Finished | Sep-02

The ER Chief Besom had two choices - either fire Dr. Shay Gerard, whom he'd just heard the umpteenth complaint against or turn it over to the one person who could find out the deepest secrets of a spy. Enter Pez - tall, long dark hair and eyes that could pierce into your very soul...and Chief of Surgery. Can her unorthodox ways help her help Shay? What...who is she afraid of? Read on and find out, although somewhat graphic, this is yet another romp in the warped world of Larisa that will make you laugh and cry.
Just finished reading and I really enjoyed it...hilarious! Touching, too! - L - Sep 27th, 2002

After wobbling a little with her last couple of stories, Larissa is back! "The Ice Princess" is well written, no lags or jags, just the author at her best. I loved the pez dispenser; it brought back childhood memories and a hankering for one of those solid, pure sugar treats that made me wired and able to run faster than anyone else. ;) Thanks and all that jazz to the author for an all-around good read. - Kay - Oct 3rd, 2002

Larisa has found the formula that works everytime...I love her stories! Please keep them coming!!!! - LW - Oct 5th, 2002

IMHO I believe this is one of her best. - Amanda - Mar 16th, 2003

I must say I really do enjoy Larisa's stories very much. She has the ability to draw the reader into her story and keep them riveted to the screen. That being said I have but one criticism. The main characters are usually very likable and believable, but then the two goofy friends are always thrown in and they just completely detract from the story. I can't help but find them irritating and have to roll my eyes at their antics. I mean come on they don't act at all like real people do (well at least any people I have EVER met in my life). I personally enjoy being able to relate to the characers and they are simply impossible to relate to. This is just a personal opinion, of course. I would like to see Larisa turn her considerable talents towards writing something with more depth and emotion rather than finding new outrageous situations to throw these two annoying creatures into. - Peg - Jul 12th, 2003

it doesn't need comments... READ this story !! Larisa, you're one of the best bards !! - laurence - Jul 31st, 2003

I really liked this story. The plot was awesome and the characters didn't get carried away. [wink. wink. poke. poke. nudge. nudge.]There weren't too many parts I wasn't allowed to read.Good use of words, but not too complicated to read. My favorite line was "Can I get a wheelie chair for a frozen tater tot?"PS I wish you would write more stories without the characters getting 'carried away'. - Nanaabelle's Grandson - Aug 15th, 2003

"Hey Buuuuuddy where's my candy&need the woodpecker." Larisa has a way with words that keep you involved from beginning to end, and left wanting more! - Cindy - Nov-06-2006

Another great story. - sassy123 - Nov-28-2011

Larisa has done another great job at story telling, she delt with abuse in relationships with honesty, and how easy it is for the victims not to want others to know about it, there was just the right mix of drama and humor in this one, - mutt - Dec-29-2011

Really enjoyed this story. Recent reader of this author and thoroughly enjoying her tales. - hollyhwrites - Aug-28-2012

Cute story...some freaky parts...I wonder how Larisa's brain operates...guess we will never know. - Katie of Ohio - Mar-05-2013

Sorry I know I just posted but something just keeps nagging at me about this story.

***SPOILER ALERT*** At the risk of sounding like a feminist in a group of females, I can't stop replaying the part where the officer whom is not a gentleman/woman says "all I did was rough her up a bit the other night. You know how it is; we have to keep our women in line." and I must say it really makes me wonder, about why even in lesbian culture we revert back to a man and women mentality and I'm not talking about the abuse part I'm talking about "our women" meaning ownership or even the part where Pez takes the protector role and Shay becomes the motherlike role. I know this is a fictional story and I'm sure this is the authors intent to create the Trooper in this manner barbaric manner but I still wonder, Do we ladies still feel the need to have a "head of the household" weather your the head or the household,in our lives? Are we brainwashed? Just like it that way? Or..most likely I'm taking this soo out of proportion and I'll overthinking and really we are now living in an equality lifestyle.

Sorry for the rant...please read on and enjoy the story.... - Katie of Ohio - Mar-05-2013

I love the fact that Larisa tackles serious issues with over the top humor. It makes the reader stop and think while having a good laugh. The Ice Princess really drives this home. Lots of humor and emotions in this one and of course love. Don't miss this one. - Stacia - Mar-13-2013

Larisa has a way with putting quirky characters together. I Loved this story! - Ricky - Apr-08-2014

Honors/Awards:  #08 in 2002     Two-Time Top-25 #1.
Most of the time a story I read can rouse a chuckle fromme. Sometimes it may even make me laugh. Lost did all those things, plus some undignified snorting when I could no longer breathe. This is simply one of the funniest, most off the wall story's I've ever read. I've read it three times so far and each and every time it brings tears of laughter to my eyes and makes those around me look at me as if I'm insane.
Gotta read this one folks - bizarre, funny and ultimately incredibly touching. - pebble - Jun 14th, 2002

This story was most enjoyable and had me laughing quite often till it hurt and was a very good read. - Anonymous - Jun 22nd, 2002

I'm still laughing!! What a great little short story!!! I give it a really big spew alert! If you value your computer keep all liquids away. I am hooked on this bards great little stories! - Char - Jul 1st, 2002

Two reasons to read this story:1)Larisa wrote it! and 2)It's a Larisa story with animals in it!!! - JB - Oct 12th, 2002

"Lost" is my favorite Larisa tale! Which is saying A LOT, because it's really hard to pick a favorite Larisa tale...they're all SO GOOD!Chance's voices nickname her "Crazy One", but she's so charming and vulnerable and so much fun! We should all be that crazy! Sarah matches her stride for stride, and, believe me, after you read this tale, you'll never be able to think of Denny's without giggling out loud! - Michelle - Jan 13th, 2003

Lost is by far my favorite story by Larisa. I've read almost every story by her and loved them all. Can't wait for more. - Poeticvamp - Mar 7th, 2005

wow wow wow. This story made me feel so good. Larisa is as brilliant as always. Choose this story if you wanna damn good read that you can't stop reading until its finished but then you are left begging for more yet you feel so elated at having read it - sarah - Sep-14-2006

Do not drink while reading this story! This kept me laughing all the way through! "MORE SUGAR!!!" - Cindy - Nov-06-2006

Eine nackte Ratte mit Namen "Fifi"? Wo nimmt die Frau nur immer ihre Ideen her? Einfach nur klasse. Danke! - Trinity - May-16-2008

SIMPLY HYSTERICAL!!!! you'll laugh until you pee! - Shelby - Oct-31-2008

I read this story every now and then for the laughs. It is a very touching story in the end. However, you cannot beat it for the laughs. The descriptions of the characters and some of the images painted are completely genius. I think my favorite scenes are Chance at the diner doing different voices and Sarah's reactions to her. - Marcia - Jan-03-2009

For whatever reason, this story is my very favorite. Lots of loud guffaws and some sadness doesn't even begin to describe this one. It's silly and touching at the same time. This is one you really don't want to miss. - Anonymous - Jun-02-2009

Great fun! I laughed a lot alone in my room...!!! Absolutely fun and endearying... Am I nuts for falling for a crazy character like that??? So cute!
This is the first story I've read from Larisa.
I'm looking foward to read the other ones. - Millie D'Cast - Nov-30-2009

great story. - Dark'n'Ligth - Jun-03-2010

well the voices tell my that this story was a crazy one, but funny as hell :)) - Anonymous - Dec-01-2011

This Larisa's funniest short srories, there is not a dull moment at all, the srange things Chance pulls are priceless, the story would not be comlete without Fifi, if you are at work DO NOT read this one or the boss will know you're not working because of the laughter.
- Mutt - Dec-30-2011

Amazing, Amazing, Simply Amazing. Super funny and well written. Thank You so much Larisa for your wonderful stories. I've enjoyed them immensely. This story is worth reading. - Dr. Magnus - Aug-27-2012

If you like a stonking good tale with knockabout comedy and a healthy dose of romping by our two favourite Uber chicks, you can't go far wrong with a Larisa story. Engaging and entertaining. - Anonymous - May 16th, 2002

I don't normally read uber but am very glad I read this one. The author works a magic with her words, that brings forth images from the mind, and feelings from the soul. With the hospital scenes it's not for the squeemish, but others will find it entertaing, and in some cases profoundly thought provoking. I particularly recommend it for readers, "no longer quite as young as they used to be." - Anonymous - Jun 23rd, 2002

Very good story. High recommendations from me. - Anonymous - Jul 30th, 2005

Another of Larisa's hunor filled stories, it was well written , I would reckomend reading this one too. - mutt - Jan-06-2012

Larisa's off the wall humor livens up this medical drama. An enjoyable read! - Stacia - Feb-20-2013

I can't wait for the coming chapters. I don't know how you do it larisa, but I always end up laughing out loud whenever I read your stories. I get so many odd looks. EVERYONE should READ this story - Yuri - Apr-20-2009

You did it again, Brilliant... Can't wait for the rest. Laugh a minute. - Pippinfluff - Apr-21-2009

I have been coming to this hosting site for years, there hasn't been a time where I didn't check to see if Larisa had returned and posted a new story. Patience is a virtue, and persistence obviously has paid off for me. Because Oh great day that Larisa has decided to share again and is as funny and brilliant (IMO) as ever. There are writers and then there are "story tellers" like the Big "L" who knows how to tell a tale in such an enjoyable way that I am willing to wait and wait and wait for her to share her talent again. That's my definition of a "BARD". A writer that is so looked forward too that I wait years and finally rejoice and shout in anticipatory laughter because I know that I will be feeling the burn of the infamous "soda spew" as we laugh our selves silly at the antics of Larisa's oh so "off the wall" characters. No one can make me laugh like Larisa. I sincerely thank you Larisa for past and future moments of enjoyment and laughs. Welcome back!!! Looking forward to more!!! In case I didn't make myself clear. Read everything she writes!!! I can't contemplate how anyone would be disappointed. - Scotti - Apr-23-2009

Exceptional as always, you keep my smiling and laughing through your stories. All your stories are a must read and I am so happy that you are BACK... - Linn - May-09-2009

Larisa has given us some of the most original characters in fiction; they are just plain laughing out loud hysterical. I wanted to wrap the Spitting Troll up and take her home. Great Job. - wasabigrrl - Jun-01-2009

OMG, I could not stop laughing. Excellent story. PLEASE Larisa, you must bring back "Troll" in another story. - rosii59 - Jun-03-2009

I have been waiting ages for Larisa -- nothing makes me laugh more than one of hers -- loved it and am eagerly waiting for more -- she is one of the few authors I actually print out and bind so I can reread to my hearts content. - me - Jun-04-2009

ROFLMAO...Larisa you are definately twisted. Please bring back with further episodes of the Troll. - rleef - Jun-06-2009

Funniest farmin thing I've read in ages! I'm from New Iberia,LA..... Who the heck writes about NI??? And the funniest thing is that I AM hiding out in New Zealand and have been for 6 years. If I knew chicks like that I'd go ta the Walmart all the time...that is if we had them here. Brilliant bit'a work! - Lea Ann - Jun-22-2009

This is my new personal favorite Larisa story.
It took me by surprise because the both the title and teaser didnt particularly draw me in.I am so glad that I finally read it.
Its such a complete story and perfect in its imperfection.

Another great read!!!! - Anonymous - Sep-25-2009

Larisa always puts out good stories and this is one of her best--the wackiness bordering on insanity all wrapped around a sophisticated core. I say so what if she can't spell or get her verb tenses right! It's still a great story and I recommend highly. - athenaslittlebitch - Sep-26-2009

**** SPOILER ALERT **** This book costed me money! ! My laptop broke and I had to pay for five hours a day at a cyber café near my house to finish reading it! Oh, if the cash were to be into Larisa's pocket, hu?

Oh, come on! almost 40s and acting worst than teenagers??!! I DISLIKED the Whistlers sisters from the begining. I even skipped some parts so I could finish the damn story because I vowed to finish whatever book I started to read.

This book brought me some good laughS AND REFLECTION: I VOWED THAT MY KIDS WON'T BE LIKE THAT!!! That "Troll" one... I like her far away from me! All of them!!
I also found out that I wasn't at all dumb for not understanding the meaning of "Wants two!" sentence ... Good thing Claudia asked! otherwise, I'd be wondering about it even now.

My native language isn't English, so I never understood the slangs... if all North Americans speak like that, I'll have a hard time trying to comunicating next year when I head out to US!! - Millie D'Cast - Dec-04-2009

Its now 6pm and I started reading this story at 2AM....Guess that should tell you a lot that someone lost and entire day and didn't even notice LOL - Czarina - Jan-21-2010

I was so glad to see Larisa back!!! She hasn't lost one iota of talent either. Don't miss any of her works. More Please!!!!!! - Lynn - Aug-18-2010

I've read this story twice now and I still thought it was just as funny to read as the first time I read it. - Anonymous - Mar-07-2011

I've reread this story again, and it the best of Larisa's writings, with luck there will be a sequal at some time, got say this is one story that should be published, it just keeps you laughing, this one is a MUST read. - Magurk - Aug-09-2012

Wow, what a story! This story has Larisa's most original, most off the wall crazy and most loveable to date. I agree, Troll definitely needs a story of her own; not to mention updating us on the rest of the wild crew. In true Larisa fashion, knock your sister over to get to this story! Very highly recommended. - Stacia - Aug-02-2013

Wow, what a story! Great wit, humour and character development. Superbly written - a masterpiece. Thanks Larisa! - Anonymous - Aug-15-2013

For the past two weeks, Branson Mahoney had been trying to catch the person who had been destroying equipment, materials and causing her building project to come to a screeching halt. Now with the backers breathing down her neck and her employees ready to quit, she took it into her own hands to find the culprit. Callaway J. Kuhrt made her way towards the trailer to make sure that no one was sleeping inside. Over the past two weeks, she had watched from a distance and then come into the site under the cover of darkness. What will happen these two finally met up? They will change each other forever, and teach everyone a thing or two about about what women can do. ;-) A fun and infirmative read!
OH MY GOD!!! This story is one of the best I've read in a long time. I had to stop myself from laughing out loud several times. The peeing standing up thing was so funny. I tryed it and it actually works and it's fun!!! Recommend that all women who hate squatting at least try it. Instructions at the end of story. Enjoy. - Anonymous - Jun 16th, 2003

Fantastic! Another great one and one of my favorites. I'm still waiting to see Larisa's stories published. How can we get that accomplished? - dreamer - Jun 17th, 2003

I have such a bone to pick with Ms. Larisa. Our relationship (mine and my dumbass girlfriends that is) is nearing breaking point because of your so called 'hilarious romps'. Well sure, I thought it was cute when she first jumped into bed wearing footie PJs, and I did so enjoy ripping the spiderman y-fronts off her firm smooth tan, ahem, uh, backside. I have just finished weening her off the Pez and donating all the dispensers to the neighboured kids. That's fine too. And I indulge the sippee cups she likes to drink her wine from...even when we have my folks over. When she painted herself green, we just made erotic paintings and said no more about it. However, to come home from a long day at work, stumble towards the shower and find my beloved avec hand at crotch, peeing (albeit with incredible accuracy - she does have amazing hand-eye coordination) whilst standing, is simply a step too far. Ms. Larisa, I plead with you to consider, when writing your next tale, some of your more impressionable fans..and their everloving girlfriends. Oh yeah and BTW bitchin' story, really love the 'bonding' scene. Dumbass will be thanking you for that tonight ;) - Stephanie - Jun 17th, 2003

This is classic Larisa! Funny, touching, an incredibly entertaining read and educational too!! Read it tonight you won't be sorry. Great job Larisa! - Anonymous - Jun 17th, 2003

Larisa's Amazon "wrecking crew" is alive and well and up to just as much, or more, mischief, as always!!! Their little piece of rural America is turned upside down and sideways as the four women plow their way through life on the farm, barn raisings, and the breaking of a possible arson ring. As always, with Larisa's tales, you'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll sit on the edge of your seat, then you'll laugh some more. Great job, Larisa!!! - Michelle - Jul 7th, 2003

I read this as part of the last request of my husband "Draco" who had posted on this site many times. In the beginning I thought this story would be "girl meets girl and they act like rabbits" but I was wrong. This is a great story the plot is wonderful and the way she got a dose of that stun gun and the cow missing Branson playing w/ her tits was funny. Overall I really enjoyed reading this story and plan to read more of Larisa's work. - Lysia - Nov-18-2007

This is one of my favourite Larisa stories. I re-read it every so often when I need a laugh. Being a construction worker, the stand to pee is an hysterical bonus. Nonethless a hartwarming tale well worth reading, with a satisfying ending, as per Larisa. - Georgia - Mar-08-2008

One of Larisa's best stories, in my opinion. With her stories, you just know what to expect. Hilarity and Greatness. Her stories are awesome and this is no exception. The main characters blend together so well and you can't read this without smiling, I can tell you that. The Phantom is a great story and any lover of a great story will want to read this! - .Lady Afrodite. - Oct-05-2008

Another great story ;) - Manuela - Aug-09-2008

Fun read! Loved the action and twists. Great work! - Darx - Nov-10-2009

This was well writen story, it did not have Larisa's usual humor, but the drama is what keeps you reading. - Marg - Dec-08-2012

What's not to love - humor thrown in with two bad (in the best way) women and crime to boot! Larisa does crime stories like no one else with her over the top humor. My only complaint is that there is only one story with these characters. I'd love a sequel. - Stacia - Aug-01-2013

Reason Of Insanity by Larisa
Original / Uber | Modern | Alternative (Mature) | Romance (alt) | Novella - 64 pages | Finished | Oct-02
Cast: Sweetpea, Freddie, Sylvie, Randolph, Williams, Snoopy, Chism, Blade, Mama

The Judge cracked a small smile and nodded his head, eyeing Special Prosecuting Attorney Sylvie Jonis & former Psychiatrist now profiler Blade Williams. "We've got four patients that were committed after they were sentenced guilty for reason of insanity; each one responsible for heinous crimes that took lives. Over the last two years, they've been released. Now we have one dead doctor and his patient that spends money from the grave, and one Albert J. Johnston that has gone missing from the nut house." So whoÆs going to do a little snooping?? Brushing her dark bangs out of her eyes, Blade gave them an evil grin after she was volunteered. ôAfter this is over with, you two owe me big time; I want a bottle of Remy Martin so I can drink myself stupid.ö It doesnÆt take long for that one bottle to be upped to at least three, as Blade goes into the insanity of the place full of interesting characters, especially an endearingly scary, candy-gobbling blonde in footy PJÆs whoÆs fav phrase "Who's your daddy?" just about makes her melt. The antics will keep the reader rolling until the very end.
Larisa struck gold here. I think it was most definitely one of her best stories. I laughed the entire time, and the characters are wonderful. A must-read if you like a good plot and lots of laughs. - Larkin - Nov 8th, 2002

Oh my GODS! I laugh every time I think of Sweetpea painted green and yelling 'Who's your daddy?' Love Larisa's weird sense of humor. - Dancer - Dec 10th, 2002

So you think you know how the wind blows? You have no idea...Larisa succeeded in creating very funny and lively supporting characters. Have you ever had "Alien Abductees, Pharos, Queens, Presidents, Martin Luther King, Elvis, Jimmy Hendrix and Batman" in one story?Of course there's is no need to praise Blade and Sweetpea. So just enjoy! - lectra - Aug 7th, 2004

Rhapsody's Silver Lining by Larisa
Original / Uber | Modern | Alternative (Mature) | Romance (alt) | Novella - 95 pages | Finished | Jan-03
Cast: Ray, Rhapsody, RJ, Larry
Honors/Awards:  #58 in 2003
"Every cloud has a sliver lining," or so the saying goes. Lady Rhapsody J. Beaumont is about to test that theory! After disembarking from her Mercedes sports car, in front of the racing stables her late brother, Roger, left her, she immediately finds a pile of muck pillowing one of her expensive Italian pumps, definitely starting her undertaking off on the wrong foot, in more ways than one. Add in the surly antics of her uncommunicative groom, Ray Rawlings, fondly known as Piglet by the stable manager, Salvatore, and Rhapsody's clouds seem never ending. However, as in most of Larisa's tales, things are not merely what they seem, and Rhapsody discovers a whole new world as she allows herself to open up to the new possibilites surrounding her. Queens, Kiwis, barristers, FBI Agents, saboteurs, crazies, inmates, would-be assasins, and, of course, a goat, all conspire to fill this tale with intrigue, romance and absolutely hilarious antics that will have you guffawing, while perched on the edge of your seat to see how it all turns out. Bravo, Larisa! You've done it, again!
You know you're in Larisa's world when someone is out in a field wrestling a goat, right off the bat, when the crazies are actually sane, and the sane are all crazier than loons, when the most unlikely candidates find themselves struck with Cupid's arrows, and when brawling Amazon cousins come barreling out of the woodwork to save the day! "Rhapsody's Silver Lining" will have you perched on the edge of your seat, chewing your fingernails, all the while laughing till tears are rolling down your cheeks! All in all, a triple E-ticket ride! - Michelle - Jan 17th, 2003

I would put this story in the top ten in the list of Larisa's stories, while it is not the over the top humor that we are use to, this one catches you right from the first paragraph with just the best mix of drama and humor and the plot was well researched. - mutt - Jan-11-2012

Part 3 of the Body Parts Series
Series List: Body Parts, Lover's Tryst, Ripper's Heart
In this third story, Brian and Xepher encounter a killer that's targetting not just them, but their newly arrived friends, Danny and Sam. In classic Larisa fashion, Bri and Sam, the 'infante terribles' of the medical field will make you howl at thier antics, and be glad they are not related to them in any way. This is another great murder and mayhem tale in this series.
My favorite in the series. I'm really enjoying the characters of Xepher and Brian, the cool new supporting characters and I LOVE what they named the dog. Good plot, wrapped up nicely and less gore! A new favorite. - Mich - Sep 14th, 2002

OH MY GODDESS!! I love these girls! laughed hysterically through half of the thing! breat job Larisa! Congrats! I think I almost pissed myself! - Anonymous - Oct 27th, 2005

I have to say that when Sam and Brian started singing that song about Jesse James my mother thought I was gonna bust my gut I was laughing so hard, my cat was looking at me like I should be institutionalized. Now my mother keeps gettin' annoyed 'cuz whenever I do somethin' agrivatin' to them I start singing that song. I can't help it. Rogue Warrior by Larisa
Original / Uber | Modern | Alternative (Mature) | Romance (alt) | Novella - 51 pages | Finished | Nov-03
Cast: Rogue, Turner
Honors/Awards:  #62 in 2003     Top-25 #1.
Turner Holliman only had a bit to go before she was home. The gage was nearing red and she prayed that she made it before her car over heated. Not only did she not make it, but a pick-up truck with four guys stopped behind her car, wanting to help. Waving her cell phone and telling them she'd called someone didn't seem to dissuade them, especially once they noticed the rainbow sticker on her trunk. "What, some big old dyke gonna come and rescue you?" said one. Suddenly a tow truck comes off the road, and a tall stranger saunters over. Pushing her way through the men, she stepped up to the small blonde, pulled her against her body and captured her lips in a passionate kiss. "Sorry baby, I got caught in traffic," she said as she turned and looked over the top of her dark Raybans, ice blue eyes burning with fierceness. "Ya'll got two seconds ta get lost before I make some new holes in your bodies," she said pulling a long screwdriver from a cargo pocket and spinning it between her fingers making the men scattered at her words. That done, she apologized and began looking at the car. "Let me see what I have in my truck, I keep spare parts for emergencies," she said as she looked at the mess. As she headed towards her truck, Turner yelled to her, "Hey what's your name?" The tall stranger turned and looked over the tops of her sunglasses, smiled and said: "Rogue."
What a fabulous tale!!! Cut from the cloth of the everyday working woman's life, Larisa has spun another tale filled with hilarious antics that will raise the lowest spirit, combined with heart-warming romance. Cast: Brice, Dink, Terry, DK, Ralph, Leslie, Paul
Honors/Awards:  #28 in 2002     Top-25 #1.
Brice walked into her store that she owned with her long time friend Terry. They had opened the novelty shop ten years ago to sell hard to get collectors items to the public. They had everything ranging from comic books to old 45 records. What made them lots of money were the figurines of super heroes like Xena, Gabrielle, X-men, Spiderman, Batman, Buffy, Willow and the Spawn characters. What they had lost that morning was something that would have brought them a sum of $600.00 dollars. Brice couldn't wait to get her hands on their friend and employee Ralph, he had cost them this sale and she would make sure that he paid for it. Follow along and see how Buzz Lightyear and two very unusual gals by the name of Dink and DK get embroiled with the two partners and some unsavory characters in this fast-paced tale of mystery, toys, espionage and love, along with some quirky moments and classic Larisa-style fun. If you are a collector and a fan, this tale will make you smile!

if you want to smile, laugh, cry what do you do? you read one of Larisa's stories. awsome, kip it this way! - braniac - Nov-12-2011

A good story, quiet in why from what we are use to from Larisa, the humor is still there though, still one of my favorites in the series. - mutt - Jan-15-2012

This one is more traditional that other Larisa stories in the sense that the Gab character is younger and more clue-less while the Xena character is more worldly and successful in her chose profession (even if it is bowling and school). Although not my favorite Larisa story, it is still a funny, good story that will bring a smile to your face. - Stacia - Aug-05-2013

Swing Time by Larisa
Original / Uber | Modern | Alternative (Mature) | Romance (alt) | Novella - 102 pages | Finished | Jan-04
Cast: Truman, Doris, Sally, Terry, John, Jimmy, Sophia
Honors/Awards:  Perennial Favorite Award: #07 in 2004, #91 in 2005     Top-25 #1.
The Swing Time Ballroom was dark and smoky just like it had been more than 60 years before. Not much had changed in the place. Mac blinked her eyes a few times and then walked to the middle of the long mahogany bar. She pulled out a long cigar, snipped the end off with her cutter and slid it between her lips. Searching her pockets, she pulled out her silver Zippo and burned the end before lighting it. With one eye squinted, she looked to the bartender and gave her a crooked grin. "Hey Sally gimme a bourbon neat and some pretzels if you have any." Sally pushed back her dyed red hair, eyed Mac and shook her head of long curls. MacKenna Jones, Private Investigator, lived in the past and that's the way she liked it. However, a sticky case and her loyal secretarys' grandaughter may just change that, as the tall, gangly Truman becomes Mac's indomitable Girl Friday and fate calls for more than a beautiful friendship.
Really good story! The characters were likable and believable and had great chemistry. I enjoyed it a lot. - Peggy - Jan 16th, 2004

Shiloh and Kodi meet under some very unusual circumstances...Kodi can't fathom what it is about Shiloh that makes her nuts...and she can't believe that the tall, blue-eyed woman could have an interest in her...her research, maybe... In a way, it's Kodi's research and hers that brings them together and into trouble as ancient american traditions, woolly mammoths, primordial grasses, wacked scientists, crazed relatives, death threats, violence, mayhem, an incredible destined attraction plus a very funny potty-mouthed parrot converge in this story about finds in the Tundra, and true love, Larisa Style!

Or being body slammed by a small blonde with sea green eyes. Doc Yancy thinks she just has a mysterious woman now living on her ranch. What scares JD most of all is what will happen when Doc learns her true-identity.
I loved the humor in this story, especially the interaction with Yancy and her Aunt. Larisa has got to be nuts! - Dancer - Nov 6th, 2002

I fell in love with this story! It is funny, trivial.. all of Larisa packed into the normal style of her writting. Her description of the band was exceptional! What an imagination this woman has! She can write about anything or anybody. - Amanda Windeler - Nov 10th, 2002
