The plot is very intriguing and definitely *not* one of the ones too frequently undertaken, and is handled with the appropriate sincerity. Found it quite believable and utterly enchanting. The characterizations, in some places, were so on target it surprised me. And though it is serious in nature, there are plenty of laughs and much joy along the way. | This story is based on facts. The women may resemble a certain Warrior Princess and her Battling Bard. They are fantasy. Hurricane Katrina is very real. The fact that there are more bodies to be identified then the Coroner's office can handle nearly two years post -Katrina is true. The hospital horrors did happen. Many of the facts in this story come straight from my own experiences and those of my friends, loved ones, and acquaintances. The nightmare is not over yet for hundreds of people. | |
