Do not stop here, do not walk ....> run to the sequel. - Paula - Mar 2nd, 2003

Morgan and Kathryn captivate the audience as they learn to live, love, and struggle through the obstacles life throws their way. The characterizations in this story are spot on, you can't help but fall in love with both women. Megan and Tracey while minor characters to be sure, also come to life and make you care for them deeply as well. I truly wanted to hate Megan when she appeared, but the author writes her in such a way that you know the pain she and Morgan went through make them better people. Little Mac weaves a plot that is both belivable and incredible at the same time. Moving you along on a tidal wave of emotion. I can't believe these books aren't published in the mainstream world! - Anonymous - Jul 1st, 2004

This story and it's prequel The Nearest Distant Shore are absolutely fabulous. The author has a wonderful grasp on the basics of forensic science, psychology, as well as plot development and most importantly matters of the heart. These stories are a wonderful mix of mystery, suspense, and romance. I loved it and hope that other's will check it out. - Kel - Dec 6th, 2002

Very well written, easy to follow, the flow was exceptional. Held my interest all the way through. Couldn't put either one down. It was a pleasure to read both the prequel and the sequel. Hope there will be more of the same from this wonderful author. - Paula - Mar 2nd, 2003

I have read a lot of fan fics but this one and The Nearest Distant Shore held me captive from start to finish. The emotional rollercoast that this story put me through is beyond any thing I have ever experienced while reading other stories. This story took me from laughter all the way through to crying my eyes out. This is one story that I will never get tired of reading over and over again. - Anonymous - Sep 29th, 2003

It is so easy to fall in love with Morgan, Kate and the rest of the gang in this wonderfully written sequel. This story has it all, action, adventure, heartache and an underlying love so strong it cannot be broken. A third installment in this universe would be fantastic!! - Stacia - Jun-15-2015
