VERY good story. Love the characters. Realistic. Believable. Only story I read straight through without stopping in a while. Very much looking forward to the rest of the story. - Anonymous - Sep-13-2010

This is a great trilogy. Well paced, well constructed. Keeps you guessing. - Georgia - Mar-27-2012

Be sure to read this series. It is great! Read "Christmas Special Delivery" after Marrook Farm and before this one. It fills in some gaps and Booyong Mountain will make more sense.
These are a thrilling trilogy well written and well constructed. They certainly kept me up some late nights to find out what happened next! - Georgia - Mar-27-2012

I have read this series numerous times and I love them every- time. They are up there with my all time favorite books. - Pickles - Aug-31-2012

Love, love, love this series!! And I am so glad Fiona got her own story/love. This series is extremely well thought out and very loving. All for of these stories are fantastic and definetly worth several reads!! - Stacia - Jan-09-2013

**** SPOILER ALERT **** i've read the complete trilogy and i like it.. my favorites are still jody and sam, no matter how many other couples are formed.. one thing that i've noticed though, is that the timeline is often incorrect.. hayes died when fiona was.. she's 21 in this story, so that should mean that jody and sam have been together for 7 years.. not the 5 years that are referred to.. or even the 3 years that hayes is supposedly dead.. still a good read, though.. - xtra dog - Jan-26-2013

What a great story! It has a little bit of everything and is realistic in a way a lot of stories aren't. One of my favorite Lois Kay's stories. - Stacia - Jan-09-2013

i can't quite understand how people can be so cold, uncaring and selfish.. but i do know (from personal experience)that they exist.. getting out from underneath their clutches does take a lot of bravery and courage.. but it is all worth it in the end.. nice read.. - xtra dog - Jan-27-2013

GREAT STORY AND WONDERFUL CHARACTER CAN'T RECOMMEND IT ENOUGH!! - LUMOR - Aug-18-2010

Wonderful!! A MUST read - this is part 2 of a 3 part series, so start at the beginning and read them all - it's well worth the time. - CoolNik - Nov-22-2010

Spannend !!! - Josje - Jul-31-2011

though the main focus is not on sam and jody, it is still a very pleasant read.. and, in response to the autor's disclaimer, i would like to point out that same sex marriages are legal in a lot of countries throughout europe.. even some states in the united ones have lifted the ban on same sex marriages by now.. - xtra dog - Jan-23-2013

This series just keeps getting better and better. Great characters, witty dialogue … this story is worth your time! - Ricky - Oct-02-2013

I have read the series many times and each time I find something new. I really do like how the author has some characters grow, like Jody's mom. One thing that gets me though is how Sam and Trisha seem to make their ladies into "the little women." I am all for protecting one's spouse but seriously, give Jody and Lucy some credit once in awhile. Other than that, I really like this series! I wish Ms Kay would continue it. For fans of a good story, this is a must read. - Stacia - May-14-2017

I loved this story!! It's one of my favourites and so is the sequel Murrok Farm. They are full of love, romance and suspense. READ THEM BOTH!! - Anonymous - Oct 19th, 2003

What a wonderful story, everyone must read it, its just brilliant, it just sucks you in and doesn't let go. Liked the sister ending. - LuvTigger - Oct 22nd, 2004

Enjoyed it very much. Characters were quite credible and dealt with some important issues. Did I mention steamy? Go ahead and delve in, you won't have any regrets. - B - Apr 13th, 2005

I read this a while ago and it has got to be one of the best and most compelling stories that i've had the pleasure to read. The characters are believable, hilarious and you just can't help but like them; and as someone said it draws you in and you can't stop reading. AMAZING. One of the best stories i've ever read. If you want an action-packed, incredible, realistic alternative uber story, this is the one. READ IT! you won't be dissapointed. - Queen Victoria - Apr-18-2006

FANTASTIC STORY AND GREAT CHARACTERS - lumor - Aug-18-2010

A very powerfully written story. It weaves romance with fast paced drama. Sam and Jody are great characters. All the characters are well developed... even the ones you don't like. Recommended. - Lyn B - Jun-19-2011

I love stories where the romance is wrapped up in a decent plot and this story really delivers! All of the characters are believable. When you consider the author's first language isn't English, that makes this story even better. Definitely worth a read!! - Stacia - Jan-07-2013

i enjoyed reading this story.. it is fast paced and keeps you interested.. some plot changes seem quite strange but then again quite understandable when you consider who the characters are that demand the changes in the first place.. good read.. i'm off to read the sequel.. - xtra dog - Jan-22-2013

WOW! Very entertaining story with a good plot and character developement! You know it's a good tale when you are drawn into the story and you hate to see it come to an end... Recommended! - Ricky - Sep-21-2013
