Xena and Gabrielle return to the Amazons to be married.
This was supposed to be the final story in The Joining Trilogy, a trilogy written alternately between the 2 authors J.Covington and M. Pappas, each taking turns, which included ARES GAME and ESCAPADE, but then they wrote a 4th piece called LOVE NEVER FAILS. This one, SECRETS PAST, however was a collaborative effort by both authors and after reading all 4, this is the most winning out of all 4 pieces. The writing is sharp, the bantering between the characters witty, producing an engaging story that has adventure, distress, plotting and scheming, passion and some highly effective steamy scenes between the two - all delivered with enthusiasm and fun. - kazy - Feb-16-2013
