| I particularly like how this bard writes about women of color without destroying their dialogue with an excess of slang. I loathe to call this a PWP because it actually has a decent plot but the sex is too hot not to. | Nyrdgyrl sets the atmosphere so well in her story that if I closed my eyes, I could see my mother and her friends sitting around the kitchen table on a Friday night, playing an impromptu game of bid whist or spades, drinking coffee and gossiping about So-and-So's bad "chile". She personalizes each supporting character in a delightful manner, leaving none to languish idly by while the main characters race selfishly through the story to their own end.
