Fantastic story for anyone who wants to know what "the dark and the wild and the different" know. Captivating, sensual, thrilling, and oh so hot.... if you like leather, industrial music, and intelligent writing this one is an absolute must. Oh, and be prepared to stay up all night if you start reading the series! Awesome!! One of the best Conqueror stories. Xena is very dark in these. Are you tired of wimpy conqueror stories or sick of a kind of moody conqueror who turns all super good after she meets an annoying Gabrielle? This is intelligently written. The final part - unfortunately - to an outstanding series. One of the best out there. Two marvellously portrayed main characters combined with a good supporting "cast", intelligent, challenging plots, well-timed/paced dialogue that is at times viciously sharp and at others just as witty. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for more than fluffy vanilla-bunnies.
