| This story is one of my own personal favorites. It was so good that I kept confusing it with another great classic Xena story: Heart of a Warlord. They are very similar stories - not in plot - but in the angst, passion, sensuality and drama that they encompass. Images and emotions emerge so clearly and satisfyingly of what we wish we could see in the show but don't. The wanting and needing. The disappointment, miscommunication and misunderstandings - the pain, the hurt, the joy, the insecurity, the wonder of it all ... everything. It gives us everything the show doesn't.
