Thank you. - BYL - Mar-14-2006 This was a very interesting story in how the author disclosed and unfolded the many layers of these characters that have led both Xena and Gabrielle to their attachment and connection to each other, not to mention being responsible for a lot of the doctrine of Xena fan fiction that subsequent authors repeated as canon. While I questioned Xena's sound of mind and verbal lucidity while sleeping, the conception of revealing her dark side in this way was quite compelling, not to mention Gabrielle's selfless love for Xena, ignoring her own pain, so that her friend could heal with out the added guilt over what she did unknowingly to Gabrielle - all made for a very confessing expose on the early evolving relationship between Xena and Gabrielle.
