This novel is truly an excellent original fictional work, in the sense that the author created the characters herself and not rely on the reader's expectation of what the uber X & G would be like. Every character is a clean slate when they were first described so you would not know what to expect and how they would react given a situation. Masterfully written story that pulls you into the colorful and enriched world of the Lakota, and in it you'd find a beautiful love story that transends gender and culture. Highly recommended! This is one rippinly dark tale of a heavy metal musicians rise and fall. Redhawk, using metal lyrics, very nicely ties the story together to the surprising end.
This was one of the first uber stories that I ever read, and I still come back to it. It has a killer uber Gab character that I fell totally in love with.
