Based on experiences of Commander Jess Shepard, Alliance Soldier and Human Spectre. Jess Shepard was certain the end to the Reapers would be the end to her as well. When she finds herself alive instead she struggles to pick up the pieces and find her way again.
I really liked. I have no idea what Mass Effect is but after reading this I am going to go figure it out. Well worth the read. - Pickles - Apr-01-2013

Bloody brilliant stuff! If you're a fan of the video games, you'd be impressed with the consistency and the developement of your old favourites. If you're not into Mass Effect, this'll certainly whet your appetite for it.
Either way, the writing is excellent. Look forward to more by the author. - Hall - Apr-02-2013

Wonderful sci-fi adventure story. The tech nerd in me is wondering if there will be a prequel? - Dusty - Apr-02-2013

Excellent SciFi story. Wonderful characters. Action, suspense, love. I wasn't aware of this fandom. Going to find more mass affect stories. - colorado fan - Apr-03-2013

I absolutely loved this! All I can say is - More Please!! I have played Mass Effect & while it enhances this story, you don't have to be familiar with it to still enjoy this. Do yourself a favor & give this story a shot, I'm sure you won't regret it! - GiaS - Apr-05-2013

I knew nothing of the Mass Effect world, but it doesn't matter. This story is great! The characters and plot are well-developed and engaging. - Anonymous - Apr-08-2013

I was not familar with the Mass Effect world, but still enjoyed this story very much. - Anonymous - Apr-19-2013

Thank you for giving Shepard the ever after she deserves.

I hope you share more of her stories with us. It truly was a well written narrative that soothed my heart after it had been crushed by Bioware's lame ending. - kcl - Apr-23-2013

I'm not a Mass Effect gamer but you don't need to be in order to enjoy this story. It is well written and very engaging. The reader is drawn into a world that blends story and romance together beautifully. If you like modern or futuristic stories, this one is a must read! - Stacia - Apr-25-2013

Huge ME fan and i loved this store!!! - Anonymous - Jul-06-2013

After finishing ME3 i've done a lot of searching for FemShep/Liara stories and found very little. And then I stumble over this. Finally, I can lay the game's disturbing ending to rest! Robin Shelly Foster has found a way to turn the bad ending into a truly beautiful story with a perfectly logical conclusion. THANK YOU!!! - Cat - Oct-06-2013

Very good read. Well written. Would enjoy reading more from from her. - Anonymous - Jan-29-2015

wonderful! - Anonymous - Jan-29-2016

This story is set after Mass Effect 3 and anyone who has played the videos game is aware the ending sucked, so many people have created their own endings. I've read about 50 different fanfic mass effect endings and this is by far one of the best. - Angela - Feb-09-2016

I don't know Mass Effect at all, but this tale doesn't require it. The characters are compelling & the story holds up on repeated rereading. - Anonymous - Feb-12-2016
