Ah, Whom Can We Ever Turn to in Our Need by romansilence
Stargate SG-1 | Modern | Alternative | Drama | Short Story - 17 pages | Finished | Aug-08
Part 1 of the Beauty is Nothing but the Beginning of Terror Series
Series List: Ah, Whom Can We Ever Turn to in Our Need, Listen, My Heart, As Only Saints Have Listened, When You Feel Longing, Sing of Women in Love
An old friend alerts Sam that Cassandra is having trouble at College and hangs out with the wrong people.
This was a very original idea. Most fanfics have things being great between Sam and Cassie and Cassie always being little Miss Perfect. In this things are not great and Cassie is a mess. The connection that Sam had with Billie and William fits naturally into the story. And I like that Pete is explained. I have read this fic many times. This is a must read. I give it an A+.

Stargate SG-1 | Modern | Alternative | Romance (alt) | Short Story - 21 pages | Finished | Dec-06
Samantha has a hard time dealing with Janet's death. She drinks and neglects her work until someone comes to help her.
Of all the different Sam/Janet(fixing season 8's kill-off) storylines this is my favorite. Please keep writing your works are GREAT!!! - Draco - Dec-09-2006

This has to be one of the most original ideas for a Heroes fix. This is a must read. - Slam - Jul-02-2010

This is a fitting sequel. I ties up any questions that you were curious about nicely. - Slam - Jul-03-2010

A must read for Janet and Sam fans! Romantic and emotional with a hint of humor. Who ever would have thought of Jack as diplomatic?! My only complaint about this story is that it is too short. - Stacia - Jan-27-2014

Be Omen To Me And Oracle by romansilence
Stargate SG-1 | Futuristic | Alternative | Drama | Short Story - 37 pages | Finished | Feb-07
Part 2 of the SGI Series
Series List: Be Omen To Me And Oracle
After joining Samantha at Atlantis and becoming her lover, Janet has to deal with her partner's nightmares and learns just what a vital part the blonde played in restoring her life after P3X-666. This is a sequel to my story "Who Talks of Victory" and thus also explains how Samantha did it. It might be better to read it first.
Ihave to say this is a good sequel. Good flow and well written but I would have loved to have seen some more interaction with Cassie, and Liz especially after Janet arriving with her new orders and how they were flowing. I do hope there is an another sequel, for many storylines are left opened.
Good work and would definitely recommend all of your stories. - wmnwholves - Feb-04-2007

This is a fitting sequel. I ties up any questions that you were curious about nicely. - Slam - Jul-03-2010

Brig (The) by romansilence
Star Trek: Voyager | Futuristic | Alternative | Drama | Novella - 72 pages | Finished | May-11
Returning to Voyager from rescuing Seven from the Borg Queen, Janeway is faced with a ship in uproar. B'Elanna is in the brig and the Captain is forced to sentence her to life without parole. Will she find a way to get her Chief Engineer and adoptive daughter back?
Love the story. It's great. But I feel like it's part of a series and I missed the beginning(B'Elanna and Seven's story) - Anon - May-29-2011

very well written and i'd love to see more chapters added. - Anonymous - Jul-26-2011

A very nice story indeed. - Peacetat - Nov-25-2011

Romansilence's Torres is a treat to read! So much better than the wishy-washy character we got on Voyager after the first couple of seasons. The true gem in this story is the plot; although I do have to wonder how every adult on Voyager kept the secret from Janeway. A true pleasure to read. - Stacia - Jul-23-2014

This is a sequel to 'Conqueror and Amazon: Towards a New Life' and leads our reluctanty heroic ex-Conqueror, her bard, and the Amazons straight to the Centaurs and a whole lot of trouble.
Excellent sequel. This was a interesting and intriguing twist on the Conqueror genre. Please do continue with this series. It would be great to see where xena and gabrielle go next since xe's warrior status has been given back. Highly recommended - x/g fanfic fanatic - Sep-13-2010

good sequel.. but a lot of questions remain unanswered indeed.. my main question is gabrielle's parentage.. when will najara reappear?? what will happen with toris and lyceus if xena stays with the amazons?? many questions so i hope the author will continue this series even after all the years since she last placed an installment.. - xtra dog - Oct-30-2011

Part 1 of the Conqueror and Amazon Series
Series List: Conqueror and Amazon: Towards a New Life, Conqueror and Amazon: Echoes of Darkness
Here's a different twist on a Conqueror tale, whereby Xena ends up with the Amazons in a role not usually what you would expect.
An excellent story to read. I really enjoyed this twist on the Conqueror genre. A good job for a first time bard. I eagerly await a sequel, because there where many questions left unanswered. Good work bard. - jbamazon - Jun 24th, 2003

Very good story especially for a first time author. It kept my interest and certainly made me think about many of the ideas the author presented. I would love to read a sequel and I hope the author will write one. - Cheryl Ande - Dec 6th, 2003

I really enjoyed this tale, which takes an unusual twist on a conqueror story. The author does a wonderful job with painting a picture with words and drawing the reader in. - Stardawn - Jul-05-2010

Just wanted to give a shout out to this Conqueror series by romansilence. Excellent read and I loved the unique and interesting twist on xena's road to redemption. Read it - you will enjoy it. - x/g fanfic fanatic - Sep-13-2010

interesting view on the conqueror, gabrielle and the amazons.. i also liked the fact that the author posed her own questions regarding a sequel at the end of this story.. there are indeed a lot of threads she can still follow.. looking forward to reading the sequel.. - xtra dog - Oct-29-2011

Death Shall Have No Dominion by romansilence
Stargate SG-1 | Futuristic | Alternative | Romance (alt) | Short Story - 23 pages | Finished | Jul-10
Shadows from Sam's past risk to threaten her relationship with Janet.
Nice look at what Janet would have been going through while Sam was lost on the planet in the episode "Beneath the Surface". - Slam - Jul-20-2010

Very different SG1 story. Although I can't personally see the Sam created in this story, the story itself is engaging, very dark and well written. If you're in the mood for something different, this one is worth the time. - Stacia - Apr-26-2013

For Thy Sweet Love Remembered... by romansilence
Law and Order: SVU | Modern | Alternative | Romance (alt) | Short Story - 48 pages | Finished | Jan-10
Alex has been dead for three years now, and that the new detective at the SVU is hitting on Olivia doesn't make things easier. This story first was posted at the Shatterstorm Solstice Advent Calendar on Dec, 29th 2009. Oh, and should anyone not know where the title of that story comes from, just have a look at Shakespeare's Sonetts.
One of my favorite SVU stories - a real love fest. If you're a fan of Romansilence and her loving couple portrayals, you'll love this one. - Stacia - Jan-30-2014

Gaia by romansilence
Stargate SG-1 | Futuristic | Alternative | Romance (alt) | Novel - 217 pages | Finished | Oct-08
Honors/Awards:  #90 in 2006
Part 1 of the Gaia Series
Series List: Gaia, Gaia - The Princess
The Amazons are not a myth and they were not destroyed; they went through the Stargate and live a seemingly low-tech life that hold a lot of surprises. Gabrielle is still the Queen and Xena her Consort. Together will they give Samantha and Janet the courage to finally own up to their feelings for each other? This tale has romance, action, and don't be surprised of the Gao'uld show up!
As of yet uncomplete but a fascinating look on how to bring two series together and make it work.
You have thought up a fascinating new world, which still holds familiar values. Frankly, at first i thought the behaviour of Xena way off, but getting deeper in to the story i started to see how right it was. The people, known to us all, are true to what we know of their character.. you have brought it all together nicely.
Can't wait to see the next part. - Wit - Mar-31-2006

This was the first story by this author that I had read, and it certainly won't be the last. Romansilence has woven a tale that holds true to both the Xena and Stargate storylines, and does a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life. I look forward to the sequel. - Baerinin - Jun-21-2006

This story is finished - but it begs a sequel. A great read and a very interesting blending of the two shows. I thoroughly enjoyed it. - Georgia - Jun-22-2006

This story is a great blend of Xena and Stargate SG-1. The characters are true to from and the storyline is very believable. I have enjoyed the stories from romansilence and recommend them all. But, this one has to be my favorite. I look forward to the sequel. Great story romansilence. Thank-you. - nljacksn - Apr-17-2007

This is great and I hope to read the sequel some time in the near future - Ri - Mar-22-2008

Mini-Stalin! LOL! Xena/Stargate is kind of a weird crossover, but it works well. Looking forward to the sequel. - Arassar - Oct-29-2008

fantastic......need more - xxy - Nov-18-2008

One of the best cross overs I have read. The story works admirably, the characters are full and engaging and the Amazon society feels real. Looking forward to the sequel. - RB - May-30-2009

If you read this before, you must read it again. It has been revised to better flow with the sequel, Gaia II - The Princess. This is one of my favorite fanfics. Even though it is a crossover, the reader does not need to be a Xena Warrior Princess expert to enjoy this story. It is a romantic first time story with an excellent plot filled with action and adventure... plus it has Amazons. I give this story an A+. It is a must read. - slamaina - Jun-29-2009

Loved this story. Full of surprises and the mix of SG and X:WP was great. There wasn't too much of one or the other, it was a true crossover. Great job, and a great read. I seriously recommend this, you won't be disappointed. - Stardawn - Jun-30-2010

Loved the cross-over between Xena and Stargate. Wonderful tale and the sequel is very good too. Hoping for a 3rd installment. romansilence is a wonderful bard. Highly recommended. - Anonymous - Jul-29-2010

I love this!!! I was really hoping to find the 3rd story but alas I could not. Totally blows too. I couldn't stop reading. - pickles - Apr-05-2013

One the best SG1 stories out there! There is something for everyone - romance, drama, well thought out plot and of course Xena and Sam kicking butt. A great read! - Stacia - May-01-2013

This story is amazing! I love the cross over between XWP and Stargate. I know it's been a while since this was first posted but I've just got around to reading it and am beating myself up over not doing so sooner. Any hope that you're still planning to post another addition to this great series? - Anonymous - Sep-28-2012

Wow! What's not to love in this story - Xena and Gab, Sam and Janet, lots of butt kicking and emotions galore. The sequel is as good as the first. Even though it has been a few years, I hope the author is working on the 3rd part. - Stacia - May-01-2013

And then what? This is a fabulous series - but it really needs part 3. Too many unanswered questions left dangling. Terrific read! - Georgia - May-25-2014

Fantastic second story and a must read for SG1 fans. This well written tale has something for everyone while staying true to Romansilence's romantic nature. Although this was written some time ago, I really hope a sequel is in the works because this reader is left with a lot of questions. This and the first story in this storyline are a great way to spend the afternoon. Very highly recommended. - Stacia - Jul-23-2014

I'm really enjoying this series, and sincerely hope the author will be able to complete and release part III at some point. Very nice job pulling off the blending of different universes, while staying mostly true to the nature of the established characters. Well done. - Anonymous - Mar-19-2016

It's been 7 years since this sequel was originally posted -and I still come back to read it and look for the long (long, long) awaited third volume to this amazing series. Yes, it is that good that almost a decade later I am still hoping to read more by this author. In the meantime, I will just have to go read Gia and Gia the Princess again. - Anonymous - Apr-24-2016

So different from most fanfic and loved to see Janeway in such a different light.
It would be great to see a story developed on Janeways time in Kronos....PLEASE! - Chrissytaff - Jul-30-2009

Excellent read. This story shows a different Jansway with a hidden strength found from a surprising part of her past. After Janet Fraiser was blasted by a staff weapon on P3X-666, all hope was lost...almost. In this wonderful story, the author has woven her answer to the dilemma on how to get Janet back and set things right.
Juat a bit of grumbling. With all the great feedback I got on my X/G-stories, you guys really got me spoiled - but as of now, there only were two message concerning the Sam/Janet-story. I'd really like to know what you think of it. I also welcome critique, as long as it is constructive. Keep on reading! Cordially, rs. - romansilence - Aug 26th, 2005

The story totally blew me away. The take on the storyline was absolutely amazing. The story grabbed my attention and kept it to the very end. I would love to see another story in this timeline about just even everyday life for this pair and their friends. Well written and if no one has read this pairing it would still be easy to follow and to keep up with. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STORY TO ALL TO READ. This is one of my favorite fanfics and an excellent Heroes fix. This was Romansilence's first Stargate fanfic but you would never know it. The writing is excellent and the plot is well thought out. Though the story ventures well outside of canon it still rings true. It is the kind of story you can read over and over and enjoy it each time. I give this story an A+. - slamaina - Jun-29-2009

Very nice, Officer David by romansilence
NCIS | Modern | Alternative | Romance (alt) | Short Story - 12 pages | Finished | Jan-11
It was written for the Fragments of Sappho challenge-a-thon. I claimed a prompt from shatterpath that requested: NCIS: Abby/Ziva; Nasty Abby shocking an unsuspecting Ziva; no non-con. But you can make it rough! I'm not too sure about rough but I did my best. I hope you're not too disappointed shatterpath.
I just didn't get into this and I'm not too sure why. I love Abby and Ziva but I guess I just had a hard time picturing them together. I didn't feel story except in a couple of places and just couldn't immerse myself in it, altho I did finish the whole story as it's not a long read. It's well written and vaguely interesting. The premise was good, execution not so much. I've come away from the story feeling vaguely unsatisfied altho in of its self it's not a terrible read. I guess I just didn't feel connected and that left me feeling unsatisfied. A nice piece but not great cwill try something of this author as I feel there is plenty of promise. - Dragongrrl - Sep-09-2011

Having brought Janet back from 666 after almost a year of longing Sam turns a bit overprotective.
Excellent and very believable follow up to Janet's death. This story is very well written and full of emotions. A must read for SG1 fans. - Stacia - Jan-27-2014

Who Talks Of Victory? Enduring Is All by romansilence
Stargate SG-1 | Futuristic | Alternative | Drama | Short Story - 16 pages | Finished | Sep-05
Cast: Samantha, Elizabeth, Janet, Teyla, John, Everett, Cassandra
Part 1 of the SG1 Series
Series List: Who Talks Of Victory? Enduring Is All
Can't accept the fact that TPTB let Janet die? Here's another stand-alone piece dealing with Samantha saving the woman she loves. This time she has to pay a very high price and learns the hard way who really is her true friend. A bit of SG-1/Atlantis crossover.
Now I don't know which take on this storyline I like better or would like to see more story(ies) This story is well written grammer and punctation is well done as well. I think it would be great to see more with these current pairings. I would recommend the to others to read. But I would kind of like to see you write exactly what happened in the SGC that day both on and off planet, and the trip to the Nox planet and that interaction as well. Maybe a flashback in the future story. I hope your muse is kind and we see more of your work in this universe. - wmnwholves - Sep 19th, 2005

I have read this fic quite a few times and have enjoyed it each time. This bends canon quite a bit. It crosses between SG-1 and Atlantis putting Sam on Atlantis instead of Rodney. Jack it not at all what you are used to but you could see him becoming this way in the situation of the story. This is a must read but you also need to follow it up with the sequel, "Be Omen To Me And Oracle". Read this, you won't be sorry. - Slam - Jul-03-2010
