This sweet tale of love lost and found was originally written for the 2005 Valentine's Day Invitational at The Royal Academy of Bards. Join Brie and Lauren as they learn that some Valentine's Day gifts are better than chocolate. | |
The perfect Valentine's Day story. I thought it was very romantic and at the same time realistic. Brie and Lauren aren't the perfect couple and that's what makes their journey an interesting and enjoyable one to read. I also enjoyed reading it because it brought back some very special and romantic memories of my own. So, if you like romance in the classic sense of the word. This story is the one for you! - Philosopher poet - Feb 17th, 2005 Cherish Is The Word a short story of love, perhaps gone astray by words spoken too often without conviction because of insecurities and efforts made above and not enough below the surface of the relationship. For a short story the characters flaws are blended well into the best parts of their personalities as you follow their story into a true awareness of themselves and what is in their hearts. Check the authors site for more stories and some poetry that will take you into the depth and breadth of this author/poets fertile soul and writing scope.Erotic, funny, romantic, dark and believeable are some of what she writes so well. - casey - Feb 17th, 2005 The reviews before mine have described the story very well. i like how the story was written. You do get a sense of their relationship and how it developed and changed through the years. A good read. - Lyn B - May-26-2011 |
