| I just finished re-reading this fabulous story last night and found I enjoyed it even more the second time! It has something for everyone...romance...love...loyalty...suspense...intrigue...and, most of all the hope that politicians like Jordan O'Connor really do exist and are voicing our concerns! - Michelle - Jan 12th, 2003 I too have read this story 2 times. The second time took me longer, there was more to look at, look for. It is a riveting romantic drama, chock full of dirty politics in the race to win, and behind the scene's of running a campaign. Ms. O'Connor's loyalty and honor to country, the citizens of the State of Texas, and family only endear her to the voter's, until her past is brought to light unfavorably. This story proves that the means don't justify the end. It is a fast read in that you won't be able to put it down. It'll keep you glued to the page. And it screams: sequel.
