| This story had a lot of potential. I liked its plot premise in Xena feeling forced to leave Gabrielle, due to the turmoil swirling inside her over Gabrielle's betrayal and no longer being able to trust her. The conflict between trust and need and love that Xena experiences for Gabrielle made the story unique. But there was some confusing dialog and Xena's change of heart and forgiveness for Gabrielle in the end didn't quite reflect Xena's rage and pain depicted earlier in the story that prompted her radical choice she made in leaving Gabrielle to begin with. IOW the explanation for the chaos inside her wasn't answered fully. While that was a weak point in the story, overall it had a lot of possibility and promise with a compelling plot due to plenty angst between the two. - Karon Reiter - Jul-12-2011 I'm on the fence with this one and am scratching my head. Fans o9f only Xena will say one thing, fans of Gab the opposite....and those fans of the couple will just shake their head like me, thinking each had betrayed and lied to the other several times in the series.
