This is an entertaining and very nicely written tale that incorporates quite a bit more of the 'real' ancient Greece than most classic XWP tales tend to. Though the characterisations of Xena and Gabrielle don't quite sync with XWP canon - and the story is just begging for a sequel to explain and tie up various loose-ends - if you can ignore all that it's definitely a tale that's well worth a few hours of your time. - Anonymous - Jan 22nd, 2005
