difficult parents/starting straight/teacher student

Postby spreeuwtje » Fri May 01, 2009 1:59 pm

Yeah I know strange subject. But I tried to say a lot in as little as I could :p if you know what I mean.

Some update: (I posted it also some replay's back, but I'm not sure it will be read, so I place it here also)
I found this story: Saagar by EMHamilton
it's a starting straight story (UX)
but here is my question:
the story is Saagar by EMHamilton but on her site there is a link to chapter 2, but I get an empty page. Does someone has the 2nd chapter? Or knows where to find it?
thank you very much!

So what do I mean by the subject:
I'm looking for some uber fanfictions where:
1. One of the girls are first with a man, and realize after a while she is in love with a women.
or
One of the parents are very angry by the fact that their daughter has a girlfriend. (I read once a story about Uber Xena was a teacher and she fells in love with one of her students mother (uber gabrielle). But her mother of gabrielle tries everything to get Gabrielle away from Xena. And also after a while Gabrielle discovers that her father is also gay). I don't look for that story because I red it already. But I'm looking for such stories.

About the teacher:
Where one of the ubers is a teacher and falls in love with a mother of one of her students

about the student:
Where a teacher falls in love with a student or
2 studens fall in love with each other :p

I know there are probably a lot of story's.
but can someone help me?

thanks a lot!

Thank you everyone!
I just finished reading every story. (I know it took a long time, but between those stories I also have read other stories + my final exams are coming up :p)
Does someone still knows other stories? thanks in advance!

(ow just a little question: I talked about a story I read ago, it was about UX is a kinder garden teacher and she falls in love with a mother of one of her students. (the mother of UG is an homophobic and she tries everything to destroy her daughters relationship. And UG father is also gay. ) But the problem now is, About a week ago I wanted to read that story again, but I have no idea what the title or author can be. can someone help me?

thankx

I'm going to answer on my own topic :p But I think there are people who also want to read those stories, so I thought I just read a story where UG has a boyfriend/fiancé and later she falls in love with UX.

the story is:
Mavis Applewater --> Finding My Way

Mavis Applewater --> my sisters keeper

Just came on this story :
Piperton from Carrie Caar

it's a difficult parent & starting straight story :D
they don't look like X&G but they act like them. (but on the other hand, because they don't mention a lot there looks, I didn't have much difficulties to imagine uX & uG.

story:

Sam Hendrickson has been traveling around the Southwest for ten years, never staying in one place long enough to call it home. Doing odd jobs to pay for her food and gas, she thinks her life is fine, until fate intervenes. On her way to Dallas to find work for the upcoming winter, her car breaks down in the small town of Piperton. Sam’s never concerned herself over what other people think, but the small minds of a West Texas town may be more than she bargained for - especially when she meet Janie Clarke. Janie’s always done what’s expected of her. But when she becomes acquainted with Sam, she’s finally got a reason to rebel.

Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4

I combed through some of my favorites and found a nice assortment.

Starting Straight(ish) :D
(in no particular order)

Don't Ask, Don't Tell by SK Allen
A Military romance, of sorts.
http://www.academyofbards.org/fanfic/s/skallen_dontask1.html
For some reason it's not completed there, If you want the complete fic PM me.

"Forward" and "Home" by Moon7U
Two short stories about a married woman and her lover that I'm very fond of.
http://xenafiction.net/scrolls/moon7u_forward.html
http://xenafiction.net/scrolls/moon7u_home.html

Take Time Out by Robin Alexander
This interesting read involves a...not-exactly-homophobic coach and an out college professor.
http://www.ausxip.com/fanfiction/t/tt01.html

Galveston 1900: Swept Away by Texbard
One of my all-time favorites. Married woman and a dock worker.
http://www.academyofbards.org/fanfic/t/ ... ston1.html

Her by Lisa S.
Another favorite, and one of the first online fics I read. It involves a lady seeking her soulmate and...well to not spoil some surprises we'll just say an involved woman.
http://xenafiction.net/scrolls/lisa_s_h1.html

Noemi by Katia N. Ruiz
Lots of angst, drama, and confusion. For the characters anyway. Something a reader can really sink his or her teeth in to.
http://xenafiction.net/scrolls/katia_n_ruiz_n1.html

Snowbound by Queenfor4
What do you get when you lock a gay doctor up with a homophobic author? Drama...and a good read.
http://xenafiction.net/scrolls/queenfor ... ound1.html

Silent Legacy (also known as Glass Houses) by Cìaràn Llachlan Leavitt
I actually read this before I read Tropical Storm, lol. This one (who hasn't read it by now??) is about a shooting of Tropical Storm as a movie, but oh so much more than that. This an amazing read and I recommend it to everyone.
http://www.ausxip.com/fanfiction/s/silentlegacy1.html

I'm sure I know more, but that's about all I've got for now. No no no, I swear I don't have a fascination with stories involving supposedly straight women! *coughs*

Love your recommendations Girlblunder - some of the stories are among my favourites too, some are new to me so I've already saved them on my reading list.

UK - Glad to hear I could introduce you to some new things and sincerely hope you enjoy them.

I can't believe I forgot this one since I'm such a fan but...

Starting Straigh(ish)

Clandestine by Cheyne
Stockholm Syndrome anyone? If you like your romance with lots of action (the friendly and non-friendly kind) and drama this is a nice read of intermediate length. While not an overly original concept, it is certainly memorable and extremely enjoyable.
